If you are looking for peace and quietness then this is the site to be one. The washrooms and toilets are maintained to a high standard as is the rest of the amenities block and the disabled facilities for shower and toilet use are top class. On my visit an extra seat was installed on request making it much more easy undressing/dressing.
The rest of the site is of the same high standard with ongoing jobs to keep it that way,the owners of the site Glynis and Ken are only too pleased to be of assistance and welcome any comments you have and if necessary act accordingly.
There are six electric hookups in the field only so booking in peak times is advisable. The television reception is excellent(Corrie,Emmerdale etc) also on the site are two stone cottages that are available to rent. The views are very pleasant. It is a lovely quiet site and one that I could recommend to anyone young and old alike.

August 2005 This is an extremely well managed site, clean, efficient and helpful. Toilet block was always clean, only slight grouse was that you had to wait a few minutes for a shower at peak times, but the helpfuly placed bench gave you the chance to chat to your fellow campers. Highly recommended.

August 2005 The owners and the groundsman are very friendly, and the site is small, so not too busy and full on, but you have to pitch in an allocated plot, which can put you within a couple of feet of the neighbouring tent, depending on the size of your/their unit, which always worries me - will my neighbours snore, bang pots really early, party all night. I was lucky and had nice neighbours..but if you don't it could spoil your experience of this well kept site.

August 2003 Lovely quiet site with a good location.Although small, the facilites were clean, but at busy times the water pressure was very low making ablutions time consuming. No screeming kids or so called family entertainment but well behaved children are welcome.
