 This is a gem of a site!
Stunning location! We have just spent 2 lovely days here, lovely sunsets over the river and watching the boats sail by. The five spacious pitches all seem to be alongside the river bank in a field about the size of a football pitch.
Staff helpful and very friendly, spotless toilets, lots of hot water, it would be difficult to pick fault with this place.
Naburn village is just a few minutes walk and has a smashing pub, the Blacksmiths arms with very good food at reasonable prices.
We will return!

We have just spent two nights here and are booking to come back in July.
For a certified site, it is actually great and similar facilities to that of many Caravan Club sites.
York Marina is lovely with lots of boats of all sizes, we were surprised at how many large boats there are here.
Good points
Electric hook ups
Lovely views
Bus stop right outside into York which only took 10 mins or so
About 5mins to designer outlet and park and ride.
Lovely pub serving fab food, dog and children friendly, even has a pick and mix stand
Day boat hire from marine
Areas could be a little better
Water from taps in toilets only just Luke warm, hubby said not great for shaving
Only one shower so if 5 caravans here would be a bit of a wait
Light in ladies toilets goes off when in shower, just a timing issue I am sure.
Toilets could be a bit warmer, only heating is a door air
Curtain which doesn't stay on long enough when in shower
The picture on website shows lovely new shower block but these are a fair way from caravan club area so worth knowing that this is not the toilet block you have access to.
We came here when the river had burst it's banks and it rained nearly all weekend, but all in all was a good stay. With just a few tweaks to the shower facilities it would be fabulous

Thank you for your recent feedback. We have spoken to our contractor who is addressing the issues with the toilet block this week. We are also now issuing a pass which allows any Caravan Club customers to use our newer toilet block in the marina should they wish to.
I am sorry the weather was so appalling during your stay. If you would like to re-book with us over the summer, I would be happy to offer you a free night's stay in the hope you have better weather next time!
