Stayed in Is Helen for many years in different units.
As previously documented a little dearer than average but worth every penny.
Immaculate facilities and not crowded.
Will definitely be visiting again 😀

Great location within easy walking distance of Caernarfon, providing the pedestrian bridge is working properly and open. A lot further to walk if it isn't.
Most touring pitches are together in a circle with hard standing, electric, water and drain on pitch. There seemed to be a few others. Non electric pitches were in a separate field with a much better view over the menai straits.
Toilets and showers nice and clean but not many of them. It wasn't a problem though.
There was occasionally a bit of noise from the adjacent boat storage area.
Owners very friendly and booking etc was well organised.

Fantastic site. Grace was so friendly and accommodating and the camping field was fab with amazing views over the straits.
Shower block was spotless. Fresh eggs in the morning.
Close to Caernarfon.
We will definitely be back
Couldn’t comment on child friendliness as we had none with us but it seemed pretty perfect for a family group

The showers and toilets were modern and clean, the location was great to walk into town.
Owner was friendly and helpful. Our prebooked pitch allocated to us for the night with electric hook up was very disappointing at £30 a night as it was adjacent to the barn in front of two gates on the drive.
We really didn’t like it’s location and asked if we could move into the field, that had no electric but had a view but still expensive.

Love this site, so clean and well kept. Beautiful views of the estuary and just a short walk into Canaerfon. Very quiet usually.
Toilets and showers are clean and good, although when the adjacent tent site is busy just 2 toilets and 2 showers may not be enough.
Have been 3 times now and will come again.
Bit of a tricky road in, quite narrow and not so easy to see oncoming traffic, so make sure you arrive after other caravans will have left, and leave as early in the morning as you can.

This is a small site with a dozen statics and a number of other caravans/tourers in a circle. We were offered a small space with shared EHU for four, by the main driveway, (not much space for four so take a long EHU lead). We were opposite a sweet camping field by a hay shed. Not hard standing but we were offered to park on the driveway by a gate.
The toilet block was immaculate but there are not many. The showers were good and hot. An ideal location; a simple, flat, two minute walk to the beach and a mile into town.
Caernarfon was touristy, equipped and prettier in the sunshine.
Beach was good for dog walking but stoney, so less good for children.
Not sure why the campsite was so expensive? They are lucky to be well placed but would lack amenities in high season. Covid stopped us using the town and I forgot to ask for the WiFi.
