This is a well kept, quiet and attractive site tucked away behind Roslin Chapel. The owners are welcoming and friendly,
Toilet and shower facilities are very good and a great location -
Close to Edinburgh but immediately accessible to the scenic landscapes around the Hills close by.

Lovely site, grass and hardstanding pitches in a variety of sizes and toilets showers and laundry/ washing up place absolutely spotless, well lit and warm.
The site was fairly quiet when we visited in September 20. We were visiting family in the village and have been to Roslin quite a few times now. Roslin has all you need for a stay, pub, cafe, a few smaller shops. The famous Rosslyn chapel attracts many visitors during the day.
Surroundings are great - city, countryside and seaside all within easy reach by car or bus. The Pentland Hills have all you need for outdoor activities and it’s near Glentress/Innerleithen 7 Stanes for mtb
WiFi was quite poor for a few days and I had to buy a mobile phone data booster to go online over the weekend but this did improve.
I’m sure we will visit again, great site.

I can only give positive feedback for Slatebarns Caravan Park. The owners were helpful and friendly and the amenities were spotless with excellent signage.
The site is in a beautiful rural setting but very accessible for the centre of Edinburgh by a regular bus service.

Lovely little quiet site, nice walks from site in country park. Short distance to Rosslyn chapel and center, with cafe, pub doing really good food and village shop.
Bus stop to Edinburgh center without any need to change. Toilets and facilities are kept spotlessly clean. Plenty of water points. Motorhome service point. Nice place to stay.
Would definitely use again.

Pam was very helpful, friendly and made us very welcome.
The facilities are excellent and even during the pandemic the procedures put in place put you at ease during your stay.
Really enjoyed our week and will certainly return at some time in the near future.

This is one of our favourite sites in the whole of Scotland. We come here often to enjoy the delights of Edinburgh and visit friends and family. It is comfortable, friendly, spotlessly clean and you can relax completely here.
Very close to the famous Rosslyn chapel, near a lovely pub with good food, a traditional tea room and with the added advantage of buses in and out of Edinburgh city from the village high street, just a short stroll away.
Great for dogs with numerous interesting walks, near good cycle paths and surrounded by natural woodland paths.
In the current Covid crisis Pam and Brian, the owners, have gone the extra mile to make sure that you are safe and at ease. Contactless check in, toilet blocks open but restricted to two people at a time. There is plenty of hand sanitiser outside doors and easy to understand instructions to keep everyone safe. Fab!

This a lovely little site 5 minute walk from Roslin chapel.
The pitches were flat and spacious, but were a bit puddley due to heavy rain.
The site has 2 showers and two toilets and 4 sinks in the ladies. , Which are kept spotless clean. There is a pot washing undercover, and a washing machine.
Also disable facilities which you need to pay a deposit of £5 which is returnable.
The reception has plenty of information of Edinburgh and local area.
The bus for Edinburgh runs from the village.
The supermarket is about 10 minutes away, although there is a shop in the village which sells most things.

Lovely quiet tidy site 5 mins walk from Rosslyn Chapel and access to the glen if you fancy a walk.
Big pitches well laid out on grass and hardstanding.
Pub 10 min walk into the village and Scotmid 5 mins further up the road. Plenty of buses into Edinburgh.
Will return.

Fabulous stay at such a welcoming site. Pam and her father-in-law were so helpful-especially as we had been ripped off by VIAGOGO. Do not buy from these people! Luckily we got some more tickets for the same day and the bank is getting our money back. Apart from that we had a a great stay and look forward to returning one day. We never drove except to visit The Kelpies. Wonderful place to visit. We went on the bus into the city and enjoyed some of the fringe as well. Do visit!
