Really enjoyed our 2 nights stay
Excellent location for the Falkirk Wheel and an easy walk to the Kelpies along the Forth and Clyde canal, lots of fabulous walks direct from the site over the Callander estate
The breakfast at Canada Wood cafe was delicious, and the carriage ride with Hoggi pulled by Tommy around the (magic circle) was great
We will be going back when live sessions in the ceilidh are back on

Adequate but expensive. Convienient for the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies.
Washrooms are basic but clean.
Nice local walks. Overpriced at £28/pitch for what it is.

It was ok, a bit out of the way good walks near by. Hoggi was very friendly.
Was a bit disappointed with the facilities unfortunately.
No campsite lights were on so very dark

Good location on a farm surrounded by Highland cattle with lovely walks to interesting local attractions from the site.
The host Hoggi is a character with his paintings and buggy rides.
Good facilities though showers could be temperamental.
Not sure why search lights were on all night.

The site advertises a 5star rating, though the site has nice open scenery and basic toilet facilities it didn't feel like a 5 star site.
The access road is much to be desired and the pitch areas are not clear
This site for us is adequate for overnight stay and thought £26 does not reflect value for money

Lovely location, beautiful scenery and really clean facilities. Not the prettiest of sites but we knew that before we went.
Lovely horse and cart ride from Hoggi with great recommendations of where to go, what to see and where to eat too.
Only suggestion I would make is to separate the pitches a little if only by putting a railway sleeper in between each one.

Owner friendly on arrival explaining local attractions and distances
Good site and facilities for all needs
Quiet location and competitive pricing.
As this site is off the beaten track a motor or bike is essential if you don’t like or can’t walk far and there are no grocery shops nearby, this should be added to the website if not already on it
But otherwise we are looking forward to another visit next year this time staying longer

Very quiet location. Huge gravel area with electric and water hook ups. Basic shower/toilet/kitchen block, but quite clean. Good location for the Falkirk Wheel.
Although I booked in advance at the price on the website at £21 per night, (which was already expensive) there was no acknowledgement of my booking and I was charged £27. 50 per night, cash only. Having driven 300 miles, arriving in the evening, I was too tired to go searching elsewhere.
Increasing the price is not acceptable. Because of this, they have lost my future custom.
