We've now stayed in 'Bob's Wood' a couple of times and we absolutely love it.
Peaceful woodland and you can go pretty remote if you wish.
There is stacks of wildlife here - we've seen deer and heard badgers stumbling around the tents at night.
It's not glamping and that makes it perfect for us.
Looking forward to our next visit very soon.

Had a great time, kids enjoyed every minute as did we.
Big thanks to Bob, he could not be more helpful, from supplying us with logs for fire to jump starting our car when we had a flat battery!
Will be returning.

We loved everything about this campsite! It was extremely peaceful and camping in the woods was a first for us and it exceeded our expectations.
We chose a remote pitch that was really beautiful and really felt that we were getting away from it all.
The pitches and facilities are all extremely clean and well maintained. We truly relaxed and our teenage sons loved cycling through the woods, and having campfires every evening.
Very friendly and helpful owner who looked after us very well. Large supermarket only a five minute drive away, and there are lots of big attractions really close by.
We will definitely return.

Great campsite. Really enjoyed the two nights we stayed. Facilities are all well kept and clean, and lots to do around the site e. G. Football, ping pong.
The owner, Bob was very friendly and nice, such as helping us move around the site on his trailer or suggesting activities for us to do during the day. He's always happy to help, which is why the campsite is so great.
The situation of the campsite is great as well. Without a car it's a half hour walk to a large tescos, which makes it very easy to stock up on food. We all hope to visit again in the future.

What a lovely campsite this was. The owner was friendly and super helpful. His customer service was second to known (I wish I could remember his name!).
Our pitch is a field was perfect - so much space and we even had use of an on site barbecue, which we didn't need to use but good to know for future stays and it's always a bonus being allowed to have an open fire. We bought good quality wood from the owner - burned like a dream.
Although there are only 2 showers and for the whole campsite, there was never a queue and we felt like we were the only campers on-site. It didn't feel busy and we had plenty of privacy. I
I love this campsite and will definitely visit again.

This is an absolutely lovely spot, camping in woodland, as close to or far away from others as you like.
It’s really peaceful, the facilities are simple but lovely, including a covered timber area in a sheltered clearing with tables that you could cook/ eat in if you liked.
Bob, the owner is really friendly and helpful. Actively encourages an open fire! (Will provide logs for a small cost).
We had a blissful evening and will definitively come back!

We had a successful first ever family camping trip thanks to Bob and his lovely site. We chose a pitch in the woods which was very private with lots of space.
We enjoyed having our own fire and being fairly back to basics despite hours of awful rain! The toilets and washing up area were very clean.
Booking communication was excellent using email and good old phone. The children loved going on Bob's trailer around the site spotting deer and rabbits.
We visited nearby Scotney Castle and another national trust as we're members and also had a great Sunday roast in Tenterton to escape the rain.
A great weekend of camping; highly recommend.

Just got back from our first camping trip and can’t wait to take the kids again. We had a lovely weekend. The kids had so much freedom to explore they absolutely loved it.
Showers and toilets are very clean. Table tennis table is great too. Bob could not have been any more accommodating and made us feel so welcome and relaxed, thanks bob.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

What can I say. An absolutely amazing weekend, a beautiful site, happy children and Bob, there are not enough words to tell you how amazing Bob is.
Strictly Camping is like the secret garden, I didn’t want to leave, the children had endless woods to play in and ride their bikes in and they had a huge field space for our camping Olympics. We chose the field pitch as opposed to the woodland pitches, but all equally as lovely. Huge pitches, with fire pits provided.
Bob checks in on you for anything needed, wood for the fire, ice for the cool boxes, and he has to cope for the constant requests from the children for a ride in the trailer!
Showers and toilets are very clean, and the other campers were lovely.
My only issue was taking my 4 year old to the toilet and it being too far for his little legs to get there in a short amount of time. Having said that, it didn’t detract from the amazing time we had. Cant wait to go back, thank you so much for having us Bob, it really was amazing

What a fabulous find. We have just returned from a 2 night stay. 4 adults and 6 kids all had a great time. Lovely spacious pitches and plenty of room for the kids to explore safely.
I loved the showers as there was space enough to shower all the kids down! Bob is an amazing host and such a lovely family man.
We never went without - always popping up with ice and fire wood. The kids loved the ride on the gator around the woods. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.
Just remember you wellies and insect repellent! Thanks Bob.
