Had a great night staying at Tomintoul Bowling Club site.

Beautiful location.

Basic, but well looked after facilities that are well worth the money.

We were £12 for a hook up, paying at the shop by card.

Great walk around the village too.

Lovely wee gift shops and the ice cream was great too.

We will be back.

Lovely site our reserved pitch was clearly marked with our name and number of nights we were staying.

Lovely clean toilets topped up daily with toilet rolls, hand towels, soap and sanitizer and fresh drinking water available

Only £12 a night with hookup which is very reasonable.

Close to local amenities (not even a 5 minute walk away)

No facilities for children on site but there are 3 play parks with in easy walking distance for those with small children. The woodland adventures play park is brilliant and just a short walk up the lane from the site.

Plenty of walking and bike trails close by and beautiful views.

Choice of 3 ways to pay in cash at the honesty box on site or by cash or card at the local store.

Will definitely visit this site again.

Arrive and our booked pitch was clearly marked with our name so we knew exactly where to park.

Toilets were nice and clean and exactly what you'd expect.

Even with the site being full it is lovely and peaceful, so a good nice sleep was easy after a nice meal in the local pub.

Nice site, well laid out with good sized level pitches. Very handy for the village facilities and walks.

Only negative was that there was no hot water for hand washing in the gents/disabled toilet though plenty of hand wash, paper towels and sanitizer.

We will be back.

Can’t rate the child friendliness as we didn’t have any children with us but it was dog friendly!

Superb site. Friendly and excellent communication before booking. It is in the village so we could walk to shops and restaurant.

All 3 of the hotels serving food were dog friendly so we were spoilt for choice.

Lovely walks from the campsite too. It is similar to an Aire and we just wish there were more like it in this country.

Very quiet site with deer wandering in the fields nearby.

Great base for exploring glenlivet estates and easy walks from village.

Will definitely be back at some point.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tomintoul campsite with amazing views of the heather covered hills. This small 8 pitch site is nice and level and the chap who is the caretaker is so welcoming and friendly.

Basic and clean toilets available and a fresh water tap. Great stop over for various walks around the area.

Will definitely return.

The site had fantastic views. It was handy for excellent walks and provisions from the village.

It would make a great base for touring the area.

The toilets were very clean. We plan to return.
