The communication was excellent and they were very helpful. We had pre-booked and so could arrive at anytime.
The site is small but with plenty of room between each pitch.
You can use the Bowling club toilets which (for the men) has one toilet and a sink in it. You can fill up your water but not dispose of any waste just rubbish.
There is an honesty box for you to pay for your stay. It's great that the Community has got together and offer this facility.
Great place, nice and quiet.
Within easy walking distance of the local restaurants and bars.

Perfect site and well priced. Ideal for exploring the local area and village.
Local facilities are good as well for browsing and eating / drinking.
Only negative is lack of disposal of grey water but if you can cope 2 or 3 days then you'll get by just fine.
No issues with toilet / WC as you have access to the bowling club's facilities.
Would definitely stay again.

This is a great campsite. We use it as a stop over to break up the journey north or on way home.
Grounds and toilets well kept, and great to get hot water available.
Paid at the village shop. Lovely walks, gift shops and coffee shop available. Will be back again.

Ideal spot to tour the area, good price and use of electric and toilet facilities.
Handy for the village services. Used the Old Fire station cafe many times when travelling through the area.
Can recommend the soup and rolls.
Mike replied quickly to confirm our booking.
Altogether a pleasant stay.

Excellent site.
Very fast response to email enquiry and our pitch was reserved with our name which was helpful as we arrived very late.
Toilets were very good and the village is really worth a look round.
The scenery around is amazing.
It's in a dark sky park and the night sky was spectacular.

After requesting a pitch we received a very quickly reply confirming this and on arrival several months later this was clearly reserved for us with our name on a post.
We did a lovely walk around the village, to the bird hide and once it was dark enjoyed being in a dark sky site. Absolutely amazing, worth walking just a little down the road to see the sky.
We used the picnic tables for breakfast, had an electric hook up and access to the toilet block. Suggested donations were clearly marked with an envelope to leave in the clubhouse letterbox. We didn’t actually meet the wardens.
Great site, and amazing drive across the Cairngorms.

Fabulous camperstop at the end of the village. We called ahead to book - glad we did as was full when we arrived mid afternoon just our pitch left.
Perfect one night stopover with electric, fresh water and loo for £15. 00. We paid via an honesty box.
Village is less than 5 minutes walk with cafes, shops, hotels and amazing whisky shop.
If one thing we would say is mark out pitches, we were unsure quite where our pitch started and ended so parked to left of the post. During the evening a car from another pitch came and parked within a couple of feet between us and next van. Would rather know where we should be.
Very quiet overnight, we didn't notice any road noise.
There is one gents toilet and three in ladies. Fresh water tap and recycling bins just no grey water or chem disp.
Sign shows max of 8 units on site and there are 8 hookups. If you don't use hookup it's £12.
Great place to stay, the fact that 8 vans on at this time of year shows it's what a lot of campervans want and hope other towns and villages follow this type of facility.
