 Super 2 night stay. Lovely clean and warm facilities as usual.
Lovely meal in both Glenavon and Richmond Hotels - both dog friendly.
See you again soon.

Very clean tidy site, great surrounding views excellent value for money!
The local 1 hour circular walk round Tomintoul a must with spectacular views of the local glens.
Despite no physical presence, emailed instructions and pitch clearly labelled, honesty box payment very well organised.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The man who greeted us was lovely and very informative.
Toilets were really clean. Can't believe we got to stay for £12 when other campsites were charging more than for no toilet facilities.
Will definitely be back.

Excellent site. 8 pitches with electric hook up. £12 honesty box. In car park of bowling club. One male toilet, two female.
Only had to wait a couple of times for the gents, only for a minute or so.
No showers.
Cold water tap.
All covid compliant
Literally in tomintoul, easy walk to centre.

A clever use of a quiet bowling club car park now converted to take 5 camper units (caravan or motorhome) with mains power and toilet facilities. Tomintoul village has a couple of pubs and shops (one shop specialises in whisky from £20 to over £400 a bottle), which are all just a short walk away from the site. An open aspect site, so it can become a little windy at times. A couple of seating areas are provided for al-fresco dining if the weather holds.
Most websites incorrectly state that this site is closed during winter, but I can happily report that it is open. Currently £10 a night including elec (£7 without elec), which is sure to make plenty of visitors head their way. TV reception is poor although satellite is no problem as no trees or obstacles.
We tried the food in the local pub (The Glenavon), good quality/value and usually has an open fire lit, it is also dog friendly. Some real ales available.
We will be back again, but possible when the sun is shining!

Lovely little site, basically just the bowling club car park with 5 electric hookups, There is a toilet but no showers. Its a community facility so the money raised from the site gets ploughed back in to the community. Plenty of pubs/restaurants within easy walking distance. £9 per night with hookup £7 per night without, what a bargain, can't recommend enough
