Very well maintained site with excellent clean facilities. Nearly all pitches are hard standing (gravel) with some grass pitches.
Nice location within walking distance of the village and local amenities.
Ideal for a short break.

Very secure site and very clean toilet block with good adjacent dog walking field over the very fast road.
A proper motorhome service area would be a good addition plus an on site map of disposal point etc
But that all said a good site although a little bit more pitch space would have been nice

Donna and paul were very welcoming on arrival, lovely site, nice and peaceful, shower and toilet block spotless,
We took two dogs and on site there is a big field to run them around, lots of people had dogs and all where we behaved,
Next to reception is an information shed with take away menus if you don’t fancy cooking,
Overall we were very happy and will return sometime in the future,

Lovely site with good facilities. Vans are quite close together but still enough room and lots of good walks locally.
Enjoyed a really relaxing 3 nights. Going again soon.
Wardens really helpful and friendly.

Lovely quiet site This was our 2nd visit and we’ve booked again. The shower block is immaculate as is the site. Rachel and Russ are really friendly and Rachel works extremely hard to make you feel welcome.
The amenities have appropriate notices regarding socially distancing and there’s sanitizer outside the shower block. There’s bleach spray by the inside and outside sinks. We felt very comfortable that we were being looked after. As it’s an adult only site it’s really relaxing.
The site has a large dog walk field with views over miles of green fields. The top of the site has very level pitches but if you want a view you might have to use a levelling ramp.
There’s a great farm shop down the road, a nearby Spar shop and pubs in both directions. Rachel says the Indian takeaway delivers to the site. Retford, and the Chesterfield canal are well worth a visit.
We’re returning for more peace and quiet and exploring. Thank you Rachel and Russ you run a little gem of a site. Trouble is I’ve now let everyone in on the secret!

Lady called Rachel checked us in she was very friendly, bubbly and helpful in every way. Come over from time to time to see if everything was ok as she walks round checking the site. Met her partner very lovely couple that made us feel very welcome and it was a very pleasurable weekend away.
The site is very well run and very clean.
You actually want to use the facilities and the shower was nice and warm too.
We really enjoyed looking round retford town and a nice little walk along the canal path to the pub near by called the gate inn.
Will definitely visit again.
Thanks rachel you do a brilliant job and looking forward to seeing you and the site again. 😊😊

Well another great weekend away at the Olive Tree. Rachel and Russ who run the site are so helpful nothing is too much trouble.
Always asking their guests if everything is ok or if they need anything. Just great customer service which is very hard to find.
The site, toilets and the shower blocks are spotless. Well done to you both.
Will visit again very soon x
