My husband, myself and our 2 young children stayed here over the jubilee weekend, we are new to camping and although it rained on occasion we all had a great time.
The sites facilities were brilliant, the showers and toilets were immaculately kept and there was also no charge for showers or hairdryer which was great, there was also a games room on site which would come in useful if the weather was really bad, our eldest son also enjoyed the little swing that was hanging from the trees on site.
The surrounding area was lovely but not too far away from all the amenities and there was a lovely walk/cycle path nearby,
All in all a great site in a pretty surrounding with polite staff would definitely return.

Stayed one night as stopover and was very disappointed. Cars have to be left in car park, because there's no space beside the caravan, as the caravans in the hardstanding area are so close together. The gate was locked after we parked unit and had to ask for it to be opened in the morning so we could resume our journey. Most of the other 'campers' seemed to be workmen, and there were a lot of commercial vehicles in the car park. The toilets were not very clean, probably due to the aforementioned workmen. Not the worst site we've been on, but as seasoned Caravan Club members, we're used to immaculate facilities. Others may have lower expectations but I wouldn't recommend this site.

Decided to come here for one night to try our new tent out as its not far from home. On arrival my first impressions of the camp was excellent. We was greeted by the owner and said where we could pitch, we decided to go in the big field near the pond. Ground was quite soft but was excellent for putting a tent up
A lot of the caravans seem to be sited there and people living in them, but all clean and lovely vans unlike some places I have been before.
There is a small park for children and my 7 year old loved it,
Toilet blocks are well maintained with 3 toilets and 3 showers in the ladies and a hairdryer, very very clean. The mens toilet has 2 toilets and 4 showers the showers are free of charge.
There is a shop on site which was closed when we arrived, the open times are 10am-6pm mon-fri and 10am-3pm sat-sun and open bank holidays.
Toilets are quite a walk away from where we was but we didn't mind as its a lovely site to walk through
Only bad point is that you can not drive your car on to the field so you have to carry all your stuff, which is not good when you have loads of gear and a heavy tent,
It cost us £22 for 2 adults and 2 children so not bad
Children loved this site and we will be returning again. Excellent camp, very well looked after, very pleased with my stay. 5 stars all round

We have just spent B/H weekend on this site & what a pleasure it was. All the staff were very polite & on hand to help.
Toilets & Showers were spotless. Grounds were well maintained & they pitch your caravan too ensure the grass stays lovely. Little shop on site has an internet part with computers.
All in all its a really nice site & we will b going there again.
The only downfall is the small play area is around on the hard standing side & there is nothing round n the grass pitch area so it would be great if they had a something round that side & the Pond could do with having some sort of fencing around it as it is a bit worrying if you have small children that aren't very water wise but luckily ours are.
Great site & looking forward to going again.

Hollybank Caravan Park is under new management, and the owner has advised that over the last 12 months the park has under gone a total refurbishment. This includes new roads, new shower block facilities, landscaping, children's area, new convenience store with wifi on site, and total new management personnel. They are now in the Camping and Caravanning Club, and they have been and inspected the park and now are a Club Listed Park.
Therefore any reviews from previous years are no longer relevant in terms of facilities and management.

Stopped here 1 night to break up the journey from Birmingham to the Lakes. Only 10mins from the M6. Basic site, toilets and showers in both gents and ladies, could be cleaner and needs updating.
Rained very heavy that night, ground kept firm. Keep in mind if you have young children there is a large pond, with large ducks / geese.
Nice pub about 5 mins drive away called The Green Dragon in Lyme-good home cooked food. Pennine trail short walk away,on the flat/cycle path.

A large site with loads space. The shop is sparse but has basics you may run out of like shampoo, however there is a Tesco superstore ten minutes drive away. The staff are polite and friendly try help anyway they can. There are some geese on site but they stay by their own pond.
The showers are hot and the toilets are clean. The site is clean and tidy. The amenities are within easy access, the elsan point could be cleaner and have a hose to enable rinse however this can be overcome by taking some disinfectant in a bottle.
It is a residential site most of the residents are gone early morning till early evening, with consideration to others nice and peaceful. The surrounding area has loads lovely walks within easy reach. Dog friendly.

We stayed at this site for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay, we used this as a stopover from lands end to John O groats.
We visited the Trafford centre and Manchester, the chill factor was brilliant. This site has much improved since our last visit 2 years ago We stayed on hardstanding and we walked to the local pubs, the staff and new management were very helpful.
All in all a great place but would benefit from salt / gritsand on icy roads, although staff were busy with spades to help when necessary.
Would use again but later in the summer when roads are safe, please note now have hot food on site with a 5 star burger van.

On arrival i met the new manager in the well stocked shop/reception. He showed me several pitches and gave a tour of the site and facilities. The pitch i chose was hard standing and i was late to arrive and had not eaten so once i was settled i requested info regarding restaurants and was personally chauffeured to la boheme french cuisine. All in all we had a great time and would visit again very hospitable staff.

We have just got back from a short weekend break at this site and I have to say it was lovely!. It was our first time in towing our own caravan so my boyfriend was a bit nervous to say the least! but the staff were all very friendly and helpful! It is a very quiet site but its ideal for a peaceful break away! We found that the toilets and showers were lovely and clean! And the shop on site is very handy! I would definitely go back! The peace and quiet was bliss!
