 I thought it was a basic campsite but for the money I thought it was good. If your looking for somewhere for a couple of nights it will do the job fine.
There are a few permanent tourers sited on here but on the whole we met some lovely people and have made a couple of friends from here.
The toilets were warm and clean and the showers likewise. There's plenty of space for an awning and loads of grassed area for the kids to play when its sunny and they're not in the games room. The park on site was more than enough to keep my 11 and 9 y. O entertained for hours and the owners were also friendly and helpful.
There is a collection twice daily for the rubbish even at this time of year - all in all a great site for a short break and we'll be back for the Easter period

We stayed here with our kids, we had a great time. the owners were very helpful and let us pick our own spot with EHU. We have a massive tent but there was plenty of space.
Toilet block was clean and warm. even in the middle of the night. Yes there are a lot of caravans there, they are sometimes used by contractors working in the area, but they very quiet and kept themselves to themselves.
Theres not a great deal to do on the site, but if you want some peace and a safe place for the kids to play, it's ideal

Very friendly and helpful campsite and the pub down the road was very nice cooking us some tea well after they had finished serving. Only complaint would be that the shop could be better stocked especially as its so far to the nearest shop and they didn't even have a pint of milk. On the whole a lovely site.
