Booked this site for a weekend away and we live about 30 minutes drive away, really nice set out site with a kids area in the middle. Little football pitch as well which I'm sure adult will enjoy to.
On arrival pitched where we wanted and went and found the owner who was friendly and helpful. As it was wet and in September the site was quiet apart from what looked like a couple of long term caravans. Our 3 year old loved the play area and space to run around in. The toilet/ shower block looked new but were immaculate and cleaned regularly, really good as it was so wet.
Local town is Whitchurch which is a lovely and old quaint town with a tesco in, highly recommended to visit.
The only slight point to note is its 6amp hookup so you can use a tv but will not a normal kettle. We will definitely use again as it was so nice and local to us for a weekend away from home!

We just spent the weekend at green lane farm with our four children aged7, 5, 19 moths, 5 months. We found the owners very friendly and helpful.
Our caravan was situated opposite the play area which was really good as we could relax and watch kids play.
The toilet and shower facilities were lovely and clean, and there was a washing up facility that had free hot water.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

Small site in the middle of peaceful countryside. Good value for money with elec hook up. Quite a few seasonal pitches. Tents in the middle didn't deter the children from enjoying ball games.
Ice cream van came about 9pm with great value ices and great excitement from the kids.
Toilets and showers (free)lovely and clean & modern.
No pub or shops within walking distance tho, so go prepared. We do this for the kids and they had a great time.
We prefer a site nearer a village to wander into so probably wouldn't return, as too rural for us.

The site is quite small but tidy and clean. It has a small play area which was great for our girls age 4 & 5.
This site is made up of caravans all around the edge which we think are regulars. We were the only tent. We were pitched right in the basketball/football area.
There was a lot of noise late in to the night with regular caravaners drinking.
It was a short drive in to wem if you needed the shops.
We only saw the owner - we think - on arrival who showed us where to pitch - then female owner on leaving who we paid.

We stumbled across this site whilst out for the day, so we had a quick look and was very impressed so we booked a weekend, Friday 17th till 19th june, .
On arrival we went to book in and office was empty, so knocked on the front door of the owners home. Only to read a sign hanging next to the door. Grumpy old man & woman live here! This made me laugh, as the door opened I was greeted by a cracker of a gentleman, who was full of humour and what I can describe as an old school gentleman, he informed me there was a list on the office door of new arrivals pitch numbers, so he walk round to show me hence whilst playfully beating me up, what a lovely man (Old School Gentleman are a dying breed) I thanked this gentleman and headed to pitch our tent.
The site itself is mainly caravans yearly members I can gather, we where the only tent.
The site is very quiet and relaxing despite having a children's play area, and not once did you hear a child being shouted at or arguing with there parents. The shower block was immaculate constant hot water, and indoor kitchen area.
This was our 11 month old sons first camping trip, and I woke up under canvas on my first fathers day, so nothing could spoil my weekend.
Fantastic site, hopefully we will visit again.

Fab little site stayed for 5 nights clean toilets and shower plenty of hot water, very small site so you can keep a eye on your kids.
An icecream van visits every night, icecream fantastic, worth going back for this.
Will visit again had a few problems with the electric, can only put one thing on at a time.
Owners very laid back and friendly even though our children had a water fight in the wash room and they were not too pleased but we cleaned up and every thing was fine.
Great location for visiting Shropshire and Cheshire not too far from anywhere.

Excellant site visited many many times over the past 9 years, owners Kevin and Georgina very helpful, nothing is a problem, clean toilets, showers (plenty of hot water) and dish washing facilities.
Always a pleasure to visit, this is now a very popular camp site, the children love it lots to do ie football, basketball net and swings and a slide. Keep up the good work always a pleasure to visit.
Plenty of places to visit in close proximity Whitchurch, Shrewsbury, Telford also many smaller villages and towns.

This campsite is fantastic. We stayed 5 nights in April. Site fees are very reasonable £13 pitch and £2 for electric hookup. The toilet facilities were immaculately clean light and bright.
Although only 2 toilets and 2 showers we never had to wait. Showers were lovely and hot. We were the only campers Tues and Wed but by Friday it was busy with regular weekenders who were all friendly.
The site owners were extremely friendly letting my daughter play in their house with their daughter. Our daughters are 4 and 10 and they had plenty to do: hide and seek in the trees and bushes, football and basketball on grassy area and of course the brilliant play area 2 swings wavy slide little hide out. It was safe and secure.
BBQs allowed off the ground. Also a lovely feature was the wooden tables benches and wooden garden swing. There is a separate field in which dogs can run and an excellent rule is all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. As a dog lover myself who owns a cross bred jack russel it is reassuring to know that all dogs are on leads and therefore one knows when ones dog has pooped and must clean up and there are no loose dogs roaming into other peoples tents.
Green Lane Farm is set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside there were sheep and horses in the next fields it was lovely. As it is only 30 minutes drive away. We will definitely be back.

Just got back from a lovely 2 nights stay from here. It is a lovely site, well maintained and the owners friendly.
It seems to be mainly touring caravans as there was only one other tent! The tent area didn't look like it would take many tents so I am not sure what it would be like in the height of summer. But we had lots of space, small play area but with a basketball net and goal post and lots of space for the children to play.Which my two did, lots with some other children. Picnic tables and benches dotted around.
We thought it was very quiet, maybe the nearby road may be classed as a bit noisy by some but it didn't bother us.
Free showers, hot water, toilet block really nice and at only £13 per night, will be going back

What a lovely little site.
We spent 3 days here without the kids as they were on a trip with school and then brought our 2 children along with my niece and nephew.
We had a great time here and the family came over for a bbq on the Saturday. I asked the owner and he was more than happy for me to do this.
It was very quiet in the week but the place came alive at the weekend. Lots of children around to keep mine occupied.
The park is adequate for the children (ages 4-8), older children may find it a bit boring.
Space for them to kick a football, play Frisbee etc.
The toilets were very clean and tidy, washing up facilities were indoors and very clean.
The town of whitchurch is a short drive away for any supplies you may need.
We really enjoyed our stay here and will return in the future.
