First visit to this caravan park, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, as were all other members of staff during our stay.
We were on a hard standing pitch which had enough room for an awning and space for the car.
The toilet block was spotless, actually looked as though is has had a recent makeover. There are 2 large shower cubicles, you need 20p for the shower with roasting hot water, so worth every penny, you get about 3 minutes which is actually enough time if you put your mind to it, but I like to linger so another 20p was called for.
There is also a nice pot wash facility and a laundrette.
There is a small games room for the kids, a big park, heated outdoor pool, and plenty of room to run about.
We went to the bar/restaurant on the Saturday night, the menu is limited but what we had was fantastic and very reasonable, I have never seen wraps as big as this ever before, one wrap could feed a family.
A small shop on site selling some basics would have been handy, as the nearest shop (as far as I know) is 5 miles away.
All in all this is a lovely site in a beautiful setting, the only bad thing, and it is a shame because it is the one thing that is outwith anyone's control, and that was the last 5 miles between Kippin and the site.
The road surface is an absolute disgrace. This was the worse road I have ever had to tow a caravan or even drive along ever.
We would certainly use this site again as we really enjoyed our stay, but I think I will wait till the road from Kippin in resurfaced, so come on local council, get your finger out, get the road done.
Site facilities lose a point for lack of shop.

Visited the site for the first time, very enjoyable stay even though the rain didn't stop for the 2 days. We have a folding camper and we asked for a Hardstanding for an easy setup, this was a concrete base for a static, all services available. Clubhouse was great, nice pint and food was great, good price and big portions! Toilet/washroom facilities brand new and spotlessly clean. This site is in a stunning location and there is plenty to do if you want to venture out. Also found the owners of the static caravans to be very friendly and proud of their site. Will visit again!

We landed on here after the Witches Craig was washed out, as we were meeting up with fellow campers,
A beautiful location, and away from it, 25 mins form Stirling castle, Wallace monument, Falkirk wheel
The amenities block on the touring field is brand spanking new, hot water 20p for four mins, cleaned every day, and radio 2 piped in. Only two showers not sure how this would hold up on a busy weekend with at least 16 pitches, children’s play area safe and sound, and the pool is great used twice in6 days by our 7 +8 year olds,
too much to list but we did not find one fault with this site, and speaking to static owners it confirmed that this site has had a new lease of life,
I would recommend to anyone who has not been to the area, but go in from Stirling and not Denny

This site is set in a stunning location, with great views regardless of the weather.
We were pitched 'poolside' with an electrical hook up that was only just reachable with my cable, I have never needed to use even half of my length of cable in other sites so I was quite worried about the distance from pitch to hook up. Poolside may not suit everyone but we had 4 children with us and it was fine for us. The pool was chlorine checked and covered every day.
The new shower block is very nice and new but could do with a shelf to keep items off the floor, as it was the shower cubicles only had two hooks to hang clothes and towels, not very convenient. The showers in the new block were 20p for 3 mins and were hot enough.
The original shower block is beside the main bar and pool area and is in need of revamping, even so there is only 4 female showers available for the whole site.
Unfortunately both shower/toilet blocks weren't cleaned very often and left without much needed toilet paper a few times in our 3 day stay. I found this very annoying as female members of staff used the toilets themselves and didn't even run a cloth round the sinks or sweep/mop the floor to keep it free from grass.
There are litter bins throughout the park but only 4 large bins for camping use, these were overflowing as we drove into the park and were never emptied while we were there, behind the clubhouse/bar there were another 8 of these large bins needing emptied and the smell was very overpowering, when we leaving we had to leave our rubbish bags alongside the bin with another couple of dozen or so, not very hygienic and not very pleasant to look or smell either. The last morning we did hear a bin lorry but it was emptying the permanent residents bins and not the site bins.
The clubhouse itself is very basic but the staff friendly and helpful and the food was good, one evening they even extended take out time for us and gave us the choice of everything on the menu not just the take out.
In a wee portacabin behind the clubhouse there is a pool table - pushed up against one wall, and a couple of 'pugee' machines which my children found boring, but they are used to holiday camps. Teenagers inevitably were drawn to this area but were no trouble while we were there.
I wouldn't come back to this site unless there was a major revamping of the original shower block and more thought put into the layout of the electrical hook ups around the site and although the staff were pleasant and friendly there wasn't enough them to regularly check the toilets and showers to keep them to a standard that most of us would expect.
A beautiful site that would do for an overnight stay but in my opinion I wouldn't want to camp there for more than that

Found this site ok. Good playpark for children. Tent park next to club so a bit noisy at night, not too bad though.
Pool was out of use as was pitch & putt area. Used the club for food one night, wasn't impressed but the table next to ours looked really good.
The showers and toilet at the clubhouse were closest to us and served the purpose fine. The owners are fairly new and maybe they will bring it up a bit, although overall it really was ok, but maybe it could do with a shop.
Scenery was beautiful if the site was improved it would be great.

We are just back home from our stay at this campsite
The site is basically a series of fields on which holiday homes, caravans and tents are situated. There are few hedges between the individual plots, offering very little privacy and people tend to walk willy nilly across the whole site.
Understaffing seems to be a problem on the site with no-one available to take complaints, even in office hours, and general jobs (like emptying bins) not being taken care of.
The toilets are OK - difficult to flush though, so often dirty. The showers were tiny and usually dirty. There are only 4 women's and 3 men's showers on the whole site so you will queue to use them and warm water is a luxury - in fact on 2 days (out of 9) there was no water at all on the campsite.
One of the reasons we chose the site was that it seemed to cater to families.
There is a pool, but it is very small, very cold and generally full of boisterous, school-aged children, making swimming with toddlers/smaller children difficult. Parents tend to watch from a distance (the clubhouse terrace) and not pay too much attention to what is going on at the pool.
There is a games room, but this is just a container in which someone has put a wrecked, pay-to-play pool table, 2 arcade games and 2 sweets/ fizzy drinks vending machines.
On the plus side, there is also a very nice playground for children and 2 football areas, plus lots of open space for children to play in.
Another big plus is the laundry and although there are only 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers on the site, at 1.50pounds/wash and just 40 pence to tumble dry clothes this is real value for money.
There is also a spacious, pub-style clubhouse, but during our stay it was drinks only, no warm food.
The area around the campsite is beautiful, close to the village of Fintry and within good driving distance of Stirling and Glasgow.

Spent 1 night here with the Grandkids and we loved it when we arrived there was a fun day for the kids Bouncy castles and hot dogs +burgers were all free couldn't get any better Sandra+ Gary who have just taken over couldn't have been more helpful as with everybody who was there a great site to go away for a couple of days the only downside was kids + campers coming back late making some noise but that's not the owners fault.

Brilliant site- we loved our stay and will definitely be back in the summer hols. The location was just beautiful, nestling at the foot of the Fintry hills with a gentle burn meandering alongside the site and ample trees and wildlife to watch. The clubhouse was a friendly place and had a lovely deck on which to sip a cold drink whilst watching the kids in the little swimming pool. There was also a games room, putting green and play area within sight. The staff were very friendly and helpful and had a relaxed and informal manner. The toilets / showers were fairly basic but very clean. There were a total of 4 showers for women, and 3 for men, 2 each in the block and 2 for the ladies and 1 for the men in the club house toilets (which I did think was a bit strange). Showers were lovely and hot, but probably too hot for the kids. Didn't notice a laundry, although that doesn't mean there isn't one as we weren't there long enough to need it! The surrounding area offers loads of things to do and see including the safari park, Loch Lomond, aquarium, Stirling Castle, I could go on. More family orientated washing / showering facilities would make this site perfect.

We were there over the Easter holidays and have really loved the place. Food great, pub great, toilet block clean plenty of hot water wardens were really very helpful and nice I thought that the bit where we pitched was quite muddy but we got settled easily after getting the van in place. We will be back in may as we have really enjoyed our stay a nice site where everybody knows one another. No problems with this site at all.
