Stayed here for 10 nights in our touring caravan with our 3 children aged 6,7,7. Lovely site, very clean and well maintained.
Indoor pool lovely, slides perfect because they land in shallow water which means even children who aren't strong swimmers can go down alone. Outdoor pool a little cool and small but still nice.
Pitch was spacious, opposite toilet/shower block which was kept clean. Only gripe about this would be that there is no soap/handryer.
Site shop is well stocked, lovely fresh croissants & bread each morning. Very well situated, meaning that the children could go to the shop each morning without going anywhere near the site reception (where there may be more cars).
Bar - reasonably priced drinks, lovely terrace to sit on, children's play area a 30 second walk away. Games room good.
Kids club great, lovely English speaking lady who is fab with the children. Always on the lookout for your rubbish - yoghurt cartons etc.
All in all, would definitely recommend this site, cannot really fault it at all.
Well done to all the lovely staff who are friendly, polite and welcoming!

We stayed at this campsite for 10 nights and could have stayed much longer!
Our pitch was opposite the play area which was ideal as our young children could go back and forth without crossing paths / roads etc. We paid for a grand comfort pitch which we were glad about as the regular pitch would have been a squeeze for our tent (Vango Amazon 600). We had electricity and water on our doorstep.
The indoor water park was amazing. Really clean and water checked regularly. Toilet block was clean with loo roll, but no soap or hand dryers. Also unisex, which took me a while to get used to!
The bar prices were fair and the takeaway service very good, although a restaurant would be a great addition to the site. The shop sold fresh croissants and bread every morning (very reasonable but get there early to avoid the queue's!)
Lovely village near by (St Pair sur Mer)and plenty of walks to do by the sea. Only 10 mins from Granville where you can catch a boat to the Chausey Islands. About 45 mins from Mont St Michel and about an 1hr form St Malo.
Kids loved it especially the 'Kids Craft/Colouring tent' which was available for two 3 hr sessions every week day. Ran by a lovely and helpful English lady!
Would love to return there again!

We visited this site this year, 3 of us staying in our trailer tent. Our pitch was situated at the far corner of the site which suited us fine. We had a great couple next to us who had been to the site before which comforted us to know this. Site itself was very clean as were the toilets even though the site was very busy still kept very clean. No restaurant only a take away on site, small shop which had fresh bread and a few bits and bobs to get you out of a fix. The bar was extremely expensive 5 euros a pint and the lager was not at all cold which made it harder to part with my euros, but hey the company was good. I fished on the lake 3 times and caught small carp on every occasion, at times it gets very busy. My 5 year old son used the indoor pool whilst I watched on it seemed ok. Nearby supermarket was ok 4 kms, I also played golf at Granville's 9 hole course which again was expensive for 9 holes and to hire 5 clubs 60Euros, nice day for it though. All in all I would visit again we stayed for 10 nights that I feel was about right.

This is my third visit to this site (says it all really) I can only presume the work in the bar area was not complete when the previous review was posted but it had been when we were there. The bar has a large screen TV which had the olympics on all day. There is internet and wi-fi available (but it costs). The bar has been extended into what used to be the games room so is much more friendly and light - there are now dedicated toilets inside the bar where the access to the old tower used to be. Price for a large beer was 4.50 euros but a glass of wine (which we found to be fine - and I drink a lot of wine) was only about a third of that price.
Toilet and shower blocks were mixed - the ones at the top of the site were the same as four years ago and need updating but the ones at the lower end of the site appeared very new (we were pitched next to these). Proper taps on the sinks and hot water all the time.
Criticism of the shop prices is a little unfair as the Intermarche is only 2 or 3 minutes drive away so convenience inevitably costs. The on-site shop is also open all day unlike many other sites - the shop is very well stocked with the basics and they also sell UK newspapers (one day behind). Staff as always friendly and all appear to speak some English.
The takeaway we found good and serves pizzas, chips, salads etc. The pizzas are all prepared freshly on siteas you can see the kitchen staff working through the window outside the bar area. They serve mainly Anglicised food because I guess that is sadly what most people want especially when children come into the equation. When we first went to the site they used to do fresh roasted rotissary chicken - but sadly no longer.
The area is perfect if you want a family holiday - lots of beaches, fantastic seafood (park near the harbour in Granville 20 minutes from site) in restaurants and shops. Local markets on virtually every day of the week and excellent cycling around the area. The site has a map which they happily photocopy for you showing off-road cycle routes which start literally out of the rear entrance to the site.
Comments on previous reviews about the outdoor pool are fair it is simply too small now for a site as popular as this. Didn't go in to the indoor pool (for the kids really) but plenty of people were using it and seemed to be having fun.
All in all would give it 8 out of 10. Would I go back - yes!

Stayed for 4 nights, very friendly staff and very family orientated site. Enjoyed the bouncy castle and indoor 'pool', no swimming but slides were fun although long ones were sticky. 8 year old played in play area but really had outgrown it. Had a lovely warm goat's cheese salad from the take away which they made for me without bacon on request. Shop good but no fresh veg/fruit, local supermarket excellent and managed to get a new air bed there as old one broke! Sheltered from the rain in the bar with a coffee. We have no electrical hook up but were able to borrow one from reception for 15 euro deposit, although the one we borrowed didn't work. Definitely a family site, we had young couple next to us who were out of sync, staying up and getting up hours later then the rest of the site. Kids at the Fun station club seemed to be enjoying themselves, certainly made plenty of noise! Toilet block was fine and regularly cleaned, plenty of hot water. Not too far from Mont St Michel and also went to Alligator Bay near there which was great, loads of turtles, tortoises and petting area, 'dragon' labyrynth was fun as well as alligators.

Unfortunately, we followed lots of rain so the pitches were water logged. There is building work going on on the site. The toilet facilities were great and for me thats excellent. The takeaway was ok but the food was on the salty side. No restaurant which was a down side because the weather was so poor and not else about locally except Mcdonalds. There is a nice lake and its very pretty around the immediate area.

I would say if staying for a few days then ok but definitely not for your main family holiday. I had a baby 9yr old & teenagers. 9year old only one kept happy
The pool outside is tiny. We got a warm welcome- escorted to our pitch etc but no list of rules for camp. The staff constantly fly by on golf buggies watching over you 3 times daily at least. The launderette took twice the money it claims you need to use, then when I refused to pay the 6 euro per load for dryer and hang towels out- I was asked to take them down. We got pizza takeaway very uncooked the cheese hadn't melted. The bar area quiet and expensive. Once you visit Mont st Michael, Kieron Paige beach and Granville there is not a lot more to see. Older children may be bored.
The toilets although cleaned regular still felt un clean and being unisex I got more than I bargained for on morning visits. Fishing pond is good seen many catch large but had to return to pond.
Shop sell fresh baguette daily but not cheap onsite shop. Pleased I got comfort pitch as others seemed cramped. If you do book try to get A21 pitch its well sited. It rained all week and the indoor pool was not a complex it had 3 slides that the kids got stuck on many times.

I reviewed this site last year and thought it a good solid site.
After having visted it again this year for the second time I have a few reservations about it now.
It is still a good site - but I feel it is now suffering from a lack of investment. A bit of the old case of resting on its laurels I think because it's part of the Castels chain.
The indoor pool complex is getting worn out to the point where the slides aren't that slippery any more.
The outside pool is far too small for the site - being crowded with 20 people in it!
The pitches were well worn at the end of July.
The toilet block floor is constantly dirty because all the mud from the pitches and poor site roads is getting trodden in. The toilet block itself is getting past its sell-by date with tatty 'furniture'. A new block is being built but should have been completed before peak season.
The shop is still good but way overpriced - some stuff was double the price of the 'intermarche' 2 clicks up the road.

We stayed at Les Eaux for a week in mid July. It's a great site for a family with small children. Loads for them to do, swimming, play areas, cycling etc. It's well located for the beach. The general facilities are good too. Excellent and regularly cleaned toilet/shower blocks, good shop on site, take away, and bar.
It was very busy when we were there, but didn't feel overcrowded. If you don't have kids though, it might be a bit too much!
If you do go try a guided walking trip from Genets (about 30 mins by car) to Mont St. Michel. It can be booked from the office in Genets and was a great experience.

We stopped here for three nights in May on route to Carnac in Southern Brittany. The area is lovely and we will return to investigate further another day - super beaches, lovely seaside towns etc.
Lovely large motorhome pitch with good shelter. Like the way the camping pitches are amongst the mobile homes and chalets, you seem to get a nice mix of families when like that.
Very quiet peaceful site with just enough going on to keep you occupied maybe for a week or so probably start to get bored after that.
Echo whats already been said re the pools, small but nice outdoor pool with a super warm indoor waterslide park which our nine year old daughter loved. Fishing pond was great for an hour an at dusk.
Toilets and showers although looking dated were plentyful and worked really well. Good motorhome facilities.
Now for the negatives - bar was dreadfully lame selling really poor house wine. The takeawy was also poor, food geared towards the brits which is never a great thing (over fried chips, soggy pizza, nuggets and burgers etc - not good)
Did not try the restaurant as a) did not see it or b) it was not open?
Lastly - site has the sweetest aged golden retriever that can smell you lighting the BBQ a mile away. He wandered over befriended our daughter and then lay beside our motorhome whilst cooking as if he was our own dog. Once we finished tea he saunterred off to the caravan opposite that were just starting theirs and proceeded with the same well practiced routine until he was obviously missed by the campsite owners who came round and collected him in their golf buggy whilst playfully scolding him - priceless :-)
