Stayed 1 week in a Eurocamp tent. Great site, would definitely use again if in the area. Indoor pool great for younger children, good playground, great lake for fishing, lots of trees, very pretty. Nice beaches very nearby, most sites I've seen would find it hard to stand up to this one in my ratings.

Absolutely loved this site. Pitches are a good size - mine was right on the edge of a beautiful field full of flowers and wild life. The bar, shop, and takeaway were all very nice and reasonably well stocked. Nice new decking area outside the bar. Very nice atmosphere across whole place. Indoor pool area contained slides that whilst good for the younger child bored my eldest very quickly because they were too tame. Outdoor pool small but quite nice. A lovely site for stop over of 4 to 5 days - any more might get a bit boring. Lovely big sandy beaches just 10 minutes drive at Jullouville and Kairon Plage. Would I go again - YES

Stayed 5 nights en-route to Brittany during last week of July '07. Friendly welcome, asked us for a 6-digit code for use with the barrier system. Large fully serviced pitch. Had been very wet & ground was soggy - site very quick to site caravan with tractor after the Mondeo was slipping & sliding. Facilities very clean, seemed to be an attendant on duty all morning and again late afternoon. Shop was well stocked - no need to pre-order bread / croissant etc but did sell out of pain au chocolat after about 10am. Small heated outdoor pool and excellent indoor paddling pool & water-slide complex with attendant to supervise the unaccompanied teenagers who got a little boisterous at times. Good bar & take-away. Free drinks voucher to celebrate 100 years of C Club. Large playground with several sections for different ages of children with pebbles rather than soft bark as a base. Fishing lake. New v. Large supermarket 2km away open 7days a week. Possible to leave site via 'back' entrance via the lanes rather than the barrier to the main road. Didn't notice any road noise but were at far end of site. Local beaches were easily accessible - free parking! Long stretches of sand making for shallow water with tide going out long distances. Excellent Zoo nearby, easy day-trip to Mont St Michel, Bayeux Tapestry. Would happily go back for a longer stay but tend to always try somewhere new each year.

Good campsite, good size pitches, good toilet facilities. Outdoor pool is a bit on the small size. This is the only pool you can swim in. The other indoor pools are for the toddlers to paddle or splash pools for the slides (very nice though). Good play ground and field for the kids to play in. Excellent beaches nearby. Supermarket one mile up the road.

The campsite was lovely - quiet and secluded. On site there is: A nice bar - never loud or rowdy. A shop - get up early and take a morning walk for fresh bread and croissants. Bathrooms are nice and clean with privacy. Staff all speak English, but do prefer it if visitors 'have a go' first. Once we had come back from our day my son - who was 10 at the time - would disappear with his friends to the indoor pool or the day room and that would be the last we saw of him until either he was hungry or it was curfew time. Just down the road - less then half a mile - is a great supermarche if you need to stock up on something you couldn't get at the local street markets (HIGHLY recommended) We had a wonderful relaxing time with people from all over Europe and no technology :) We will definitely go back.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a brilliant time and gorgeous weather. We backed onto an open field with a swathe of wild flowers. Opposite was the toilet/shower block which was constantly being cleaned. We had a 150m2 pitch which inc water and electricity. The other reviewers have mentioned the great facilities which are of still the same high stardard. My boys loved it - the swimming/fishing and most of all the freedom. Would highly recommend.

Lovely site, we had a Eurocamp tent but there were plenty of tourers as well, set in the grounds of a Chateau, a few touring pitches are actually on the grass lawn right in fromt of the chateau!
Toilet blocks were constantly being cleaned, day and night, so even with the awful weather we had they were always clean.
There's a small heated outdoor pool, plus a lovely indoor water park with big water slides and a lovely paddling pool for littlies, nowhere to swim inside, though. Beware the tiny kiddie slide, it's not fixed down and my 4 year-old fell and split his chin on the steps - mind you the owner couldn't have been more helpful and drove us to the doctors himself, even came in and translated for me!
The shop was fully stocked in August, no need to pre-order anything.
Best of all, although they have everything you need for kids, is what they don't have - no entertainment, no discos going on all night, just a lovely quiet bar and peace!

June 04 We visited this camp (with euro sites) a few weeks ago. It is wonderful, in the country and very peaceful. You can sometimes hear traffic from the road but it is minimal (road is not too close either.) Each pitch has water tap and electric hook up of its own. Toilet blocks are wonderful, cleaned 4 times a day. Plenty of hot showers and seperate cubicals, have baby bath, with shower big enough to bath bigger children as well. Washing machines and dryers in each toilet block. Also good disabled shower room. There is a lake for fishing, outdoor pool (heated)wonderful takeaway (pre-order) with lovely spit roast chickens amongst other things. Shop sells basic goods and you have to pre-order bread etc day before. There is a large supermarket and a hypermarket 10 mins away though. Nice small friendly bar and a games room. the best of this camp has to be the water park all covered and heated, my boys (aged 4 and 6) absolutely loved it, you could not get them out. There is a nice shallow pool for smaller children and 2 fast water shoots and 2 other ones. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the surrounding countryside is very pretty. Also 2 great childrens play areas, one for younger children as well. Beach is 2 miles away and small town 2 miles, not much else to do in area unless you want to travel but we loved it and were so relaxed we did not know what day it was. Usually go to different camp in France each year but we are booking to go back here next year. About 1 hr 30 mins from cherbourg.
