The site itself is beautifully located, just out of town and with a great view of the sea and hills on all sides. The camping section is at the top - furthest away from the toilet block so it's not ideal and there is no shop. This is definately a quiet site for the come and go tourer rather than those that want activities to hand. The showers are plentiful and clean although there is a certain lack of hooks above the handbasins and in the showers and no stools or chairs. A minor point perhaps but it does mean that whatever clothes you take into the shower will certainly come out soaked regardless of where you put them ! Other than that, I have always enjoyed staying at this place because the environs are so pleasant.Aberystwyth itself is quite lively with a variety of places to eat and things to do. Worth visiting.

Very easy to find, friendly owner (has UKCS sticker in Reception window). Pitches are not regimented marked plots and you choose how to position your outfit. Mainly are fairly level on the hook up side and there is plenty of room. There are plenty of showers and toilets although they are a little way from the touring area. Plenty of water points and bins.
It is a pleasant 30 mins walk down to the sea although I would allow a little more time to walk back as it is up hill. Plenty to see there and the Vale of Rheidol steam railway is worth a trip on.
It is a quiet site but there is a pub within 10 mins walk.
It is a site we will revisit.
