Very very nice campsite which we have visited now a few times. Washing facilities are excellent and extremely clean. We stay in the camping field which is quiet and peaceful. The whole site is very well maintained yet not 'stuffy' at all. You are left to get on with your own thing but feel that things are being well looked after. You can get the park and ride from outside the site into Dartmouth. Dartmouth is beautiful and well worth a visit. This is a site we will always return to. Beautiful area to visit and perfect campsite!

Having just spent 5 nights at this campsite, the only thing which puts me off returning is the battering our tent took on the night before our departure. We were placed on the top field as it was the music festival weekend and we were told it would be quieter than on the tent field. The facilities are immaculate and there is a frequent bus service from the estate opposite the petrol garage (90) which ran at quarter hour intervals to Dartmouth.
If I returned to this site, I would ask for a pitch in the tent field as I was told it is always windy at this site.

We visited Little Cotton in the very cold Easter week and were delighted to find it so welcoming. The ten field was sheltered and although the field itself seemed to undulate all the pitches were flat and spacious. The showers/toilets were exceptional, very clean and warm, the showers were great with plenty of room in the cubicles. The site staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The site itself is ideally located opposite Sainsbury's and also next to the Dartmouth park and ride service but despite it being easily accessible there is very little road noise. The dog walk was fabulous, lots of space and places for them to explore. I would highly recommend the site and we will definitely be going back in warmer weather.

First time down this neck of woods and I think we picked a good site. Great open feel about it (not hemmed in by hedges, my pet hate!). Lovely clean showers, hot water, laundry. Pitches well spaced out and level.
Front desk, really friendly and helpful.
We walked into dartmouth (about 15-20mins). Loads of cafes and pubs and we where lucky enough a food festival was on at time.
Right outside site a Sainsburys which is open till 9pm, so food and booze on tap if you forget.
Would deffo go to this site again!

We were recommended Little Cotton by friends who had been there a few times with their caravan. We were lucky, as we just turned up having planned to stay at a site near Totnes, which was awful, so headed to Dartmouth instead.
There was one hard standing place left, so we paid a fair price for two nights, and were happy to be right next to the toilet block.
The toilet, shower, and washing up facilities here are excellent, modern, clean and spacious.
There is a Sainsbury across the road, which is a real bonus, and the park & ride which takes you into Dartmouth is in the adjoining field.
You need £5 change to buy a ticket for the bus, and the driver won't take cash.
So we walked into town, which is fine going down, but a real climb coming back up. Saying that, we would do it again.
Dartmouth is lovely, nice shops and pubs. Little Cotton is a great site, and it will be one of the first sites we return to next year.

Little Cotton is what every site should aspire to. Extremely well maintained, everything superbly organised, a perfect location with everything you could need within walking distance.
The toilet block is one of the best you could ever find. This was our second visit over two years and everything was just as before with no sign of ageing.
It's an open site (as opposed to the current trend for individual plots with lots of hedges and bushes) and is all the better for it.
Highly recommended!

What can I Say about this site that hasn't already been said, choose this site for it's location as we were going to watch the Tour of Britain and I am so glad that we did.
The facilities where excellent and the staff really helpful even the dog walk was the best I have ever seen.
Visited nearby Slapton Ley and Torcross as this was the nearest dog friendly beach and have to say what a beautiful area.
Had a fantastic meal in the Torcross Boathouse as well behaved dogs were welcome, good value for money, choose a lightbite of Cod & Chips and it was huge well worth the money.
Would highly recommend this site and will definitely be coming back to this site to say for longer.

Spent 5 nights on this brilliant site. The fact that we got the best of the early September weather helped.
A very warm welcome on arrival, promptly shown to our pitch both gave a good first impression.
Facilities were spotless and well maintained.
The position of the site at the top of the hill out of Dartmouth gave superb views over countryside, but, as others have commented, leaves you a little exposed if the breeze gets up.
Out and about, there's a leisure centre next door (no pool as yet)and 2 supermarkets (Sainsbury and Lidl) within easy walking distance.
The park and ride next door gives easy access to Dartmouth with tickets priced at £5 for up to 6 passengers (so find a friend or 2!)
Dartmouth is amazing and offers a lot of excursions by boat (and steam train from Kingswear.
Plenty of options for eating out in town and we particularly found the Dolphin and the Windjammer good value.
Most certainly worth a return visit.

We visited this site last year.
The site was nice and clean, the people in the shop were very helpful and friendly.
We had EHU and we were put near the toilet block which as it rained a lot. Was very handy the toilet block was kept very clean, and at night was well lit up the only down side to that was there was no kids play area so they played football between the toilet block and our tent so had to move the car to the side as the ball hit the tent a few times.
There is a park and ride right next door which was very handy as we never had to use the car all week. And only £5 return and kids went free.
The shop did have a good selection of food etc and there is a sainsburys just across the road as well.

Dreadful weather, brilliant site!
Really can't think of anything negative to say, the facilities were ample, well made and well maintained. Everything was a bit better than it needed to be.
As we pulled up and it looked so close to the town centre I was a bit apprehensive, but it was nice and quiet and felt quit rural.
We didn't use the park and ride but it was very convenient, as was sainsburys just over the road.
The shop on site was open 8-8 and had large chest freezer for ice packs for a donation.
Dartmouth and totnes are really lovely, teignmouth and bovey Tracy well worth visiting.
We found Salcombe dull, every other shop was designer sailing gear. The ferry inn has lovely views but was staffed by disinterested teens so poor service and over priced.
Brixham was a little scabby.
Nice day at Plymouth for the fireworks, would have loved to try the lido if the weather had been fit for it!
Morwellham a lovely day out and good price compared to similar attractions like beamish.
Lovely area of the world, bet it's even nicer in the sun!
