This site is located a stones throw from the centre of evesham right on a weir in one of the most relaxing and peaceful settings ive found.
Excellent pitches on the river front where at night I fell to sleep to the sound of rushing water, its well laid out with the site mainly being occupied by very friendly static home owners. The facilities are very very tidy and spotless, there was always a good morning from the site warden and nothing seems to be any hassle.
Considering how close to the town centre you are there is no noise at all, and in the town there's plenty to see and do and take aways are aplenty.
This site is a dream and I would not hesitate in going back in fact I am at the end of the month.
I've been looking for a negative. But the worst I can say is the showers have the annoying push mechanism which continually need pressing.
Best site I've visited for years.

Excellent location next to the river and an easy walk into the town and what it has to offer. Nice and quiet site considering there are Static Caravans here as well.
Very friendly staff and helped you locate your pitch and the best way to set up on it as this was going to be the first time we set up and used our Folding Camper.
It was nice to have the choice of a river pitch or a non river pitch, we would always recommend the river pitch for this site. Excellent
Toilet and shower block with all the facilities you need.
Will definitely visit here again.

We were first time (middle aged) touring caravan owners. Absolutely excellent site, management extremely helpful, lent us a step as we left ours standing at home!Very friendly, peaceful site, everyone on nearby pitches only too willing to help. Showers spotless, site excellently maintained. Site overlooks weir with picnic area/barbeque facilities. Less than 5 mins walk into Evesham and the river Avon, pretty, 25 min boat trips £3. 50 per person. Huge public park to sit and chill in with brilliant child playground. Cannot fault Weir Meadow, they really make you feel welcome. We will be returning many times. (fishing available, £5 daily, dawn till dusk)

On embarking on a 2 week touring holiday in the Cotswolds, we were booked on here for the weekend before the Bank Holiday, due to tour for a couple of days and to return to this site for the Bank Holiday itself. On arriving at the site, however, and receiving a warm welcome and being shown to our pitch efficiently, we were that impressed that we booked the days in between as well!
The site is mainly laid out to static caravans, with a river front area and a row behind laid out for tourers. The site is kept immaculate (grass regularly mown, toilet and shower block immaculate and an up-to-date laundrette attached). A barbeque area is provided, along with various picnic tables for tourers to use within a defined area by the riverside.
Evesham itself is within easy walking distance - 10 minutes at most - and, whilst being a relatively small town, has everything you could possibly need - arcade of High Street Stores, etc. - together with an abundance of eateries of varying standards. The town has an Aldi, Lidl, Iceland and Co-Op all within walking distance of the site, with a large Morrisons supermarket approximately 2 miles away on the local trading estate.
The only downside really for us was that internet connection was a bit hit and miss (o2 dongle) and TV reception was poor (if any), however, this did not in any way detract from our enjoyment of our time here.
The site backs onto a school and, whilst the site is generally very peaceful and quiet, there is a bit of noise from the children at break and lunch times: otherwise, no problem.
This is a site we would return to again and again.

Just returned from a Fri/Sat night stay at £36 inc ehu, on a standard non-riverfront pitch (I think the river front ones are dearer).
As others have said, a beautifully kept site - very peaceful. There are indeed a lot of static vans, but a good tourer area in the middle, with ample water/waste points and immaculate toilet/shower block.
The showers are included and the water was hot & plentiful. The cubicles are large each having a curtain to divide into wet/dry area.
One rule that may irk some is that no ground sheets of any kind are permitted.
Children would need close supervision due to there being no fence along a good amount of the riverbank.

Just returned from 1 night, absolutely lovely. It is the 2nd time we have been but the last time was 5 years ago. The owner was so helpful pointing out where everything was,we were lucky enough to have a pitch on the riverside. So peaceful there. Toilets and showers spotless. Only a short walk into Evesham town centre, plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Will return asap

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of March 2011. A lovely site, very quiet considering its only a 5 minute walk from Evesham town centre and right along side the river avon !
The site has a picnic area overlooking the weir and is really well kept, the staff were very friendly,
The toilet and showers were immaculate (although you have to pay a £10 deposit for the key - which includes a swipe card to operate the security barrier to enter the site)
Overall a very nice site !

Great pitches on the river bank overlooking the Weir (small premium charged for riverside pitch) all pitches have hook up. Riverside location may be an issue for families with small children given proximity to river.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic location just a short walk to town centre where shops, bars and restaurants can be found. Facilities clean and tidy with free showers.
A number of static caravans are on site. No freeview reception available.

As others have said a nice, peaceful, clean (in every way) site right by river. The big plus point though is the proximity to Evesham that is easily walked to with the many shops, banks, pubs etc.
Even so was very quiet at night, Some walks along the river bank on the other side of the road bridge. A lot of static homes here so don't know how long this will remain a touring park.
Paid £18/night for two with ehu, own water and drain.

My wife and I stayed at this park for one week. In just a few hours of arriving we were so relaxed. We know we would love it hear. We were met by Barry the site manager who greeted us as though we were old friends. Nothing is to much if we needed any help. The staff also were very friendly and polite.
The site is situated on the bank's of the river Avon. All pitches are kept in tip top condition with the grass cut on regular day's. The shower block is second to none, very clean and modern and are locked all the time with guest's having there own key (A small deposit of £5. Returnable)Water point's at regular intervals so no long walks for water or to empty waist.
The site is quiet and relaxing. My wife and I will certainly be going back there, soon!
