This is a very nice well kept site. Toilet block very clean-free hot showers-free hairdrier. Would be lovely if you were fronting onto the river but we booked late and were on the back row. Just a little bit overwhelmed with static caravans for me. Walked into Evesham which seemed very nice during the day. Ate at the Emerald Thai restaurant-excellent. Have marked down for child-friendliness only because of the riverside location- not a place if you have got small children. Did not see if there was a playground.
This was the perfect site for our first holiday in a touring caravan. The site is exceptionally maintained and the toilet blocks are clean and tidy! The staff are very friendly and welcoming! there are not masses of rules to stick to either - but make sure you only park your car on your allocated spot!
It is a very relaxing site on the banks of the river avon and is only a 5 minute walk into Evesham itself.
This was our fourth time visiting this site, it is so peaceful and tranquil it is hard to find words to describe it. Although it is only two minutes walk from the town centre of Evesham this does not affect the peace and quiet. If you are a fisherman then this is the site for you, the riverside pitches are three or four metres from the rivers edge. The pitches are flat and well kept, although they are a little small. The toilets and showers are spotless; they are accessed via a security code. There are some pitches available that are not on the rivers edge. There is a picnic area that is available to all with a brick built barbecue to use if you so whish. The access to the site can at times be a little tight but this is due to the ignorance of some peoples parking. If you want to go during the busier periods you have to book well in advance. There is a sign on the river back aimed at passing boats that says “paradise lost! Never” I can only say that this true.
