Lovely campsite in super area. Busy but relaxing atmosphere, with bar and restaurant on site. Food was good and fairly reasonably priced. Pitches large and flat. Only grumble was the electric hook up. Were warned through our Carefree booking that long cables needed, but nearest was lot further than anticipated and full up. Luckily we managed to find another French pin type which was empty, but if we didn't have the adaptor then we would've been stuck.
Kids loved the pools, which catered for all. Facilities were clean, and the only Brittany campsite out of the three we visited that had loo roll in the cubicle! A great campsite with lots to do in the area. Reception gave us a map of recommended places to visit when we checked in, which was a nice touch and made finding the perfect beach easier! Would definitely return.

For the third year running we have just returned from 2 glorious weeks at this site.
The owners who took over approx 3 years ago, have upgraded the facilities once again without detracting from the peace and quiet of the site. The toilet/shower blocks are more than able to cope with the August rush from the English, Dutch and French on holiday there and are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
There are 5 play areas, at least 2 for small children and the excellent 'chicken Pen ' for older children and teenagers.
The swimming pools have been upgraded to include a covered heated pool for small children and the heated adult pool is a firm favourite with both of my teenagers.
The surrounding areas offer a diverse array of attractions from the various beaches to the glorious 'Port du Crousty', a rather large Marina housing some 1500 yachts.
The small town of Sarzeau is within walking distance and the larger town of Vanne is 20km away.
If it were possible to book next years holiday with the Caravan Club to this very special site we would have done so before departing this year.
I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who likes relaxation in pleasant surroundings.

Excellent site with excellent facilities. The toilet block / shower / washing up area was kept clean and tidy. Older kids loved the pool, especially the water slide into larger pool with youngest in the covered pool which was just a few degrees warmer. We did spend a long time with our 5 year old who couldn’t decide if she wanted to go in the outside paddling pool, indoor paddling pool or undercover pool so we spent ages going from one to the other (what a terrible dilemma !). Plenty to do in the area with fantastic markets in nearby Sarzu and Port Navro.
We did find the site very dusty where out pitch was but really not sure if that’s a complaint since it was caused by two weeks of hot dry sunny weather !
Plenty of other stuff for kids – trampolines sunk in ground so you don’t have to worry about falling off, table tennis with at least 3 play grounds dotted around the site. Takeaway good and able to get bread each morning. Look out at reception as we found out that trips in local area booked via site much cheaper than if you turn up. Especially recommended by our kids was Celt Adventure.
Area has lovely beaches, we are sorry we didn’t take bikes (although they can be hired from site) as extensive cycle tracks in area and from site.

Once again an excellent holiday at Domian Le Bohat.
All facilities clean tidy and all you would expect from a campsite.
Staff very friendly and always helpful with excellent English spoke (must try and get my French and Dutch this good)
This is our second visit and we are planning a third, keep finding more and more things to do in the area and never got bored, can recommend the kayaking around the gulf for the adventurous or Celt adventure if you are not afraid of heights.
Pool areas excellent with the addition this year of the toddler in door play pool so range of pools for all areas all safe and clean.
One little grumble that our pitch had a uneven lump running through which was due to groundworks that were done to supply new tent/pods with water etc which left area very dusty and stoney, this really needs levelling a bit and seeding over the winter as it broke the pitch up rather and was a bit of a trip hazard ( well I blamed this fro falling and not the red wine!)
Thanks again for great holiday

This was our first time camping in France and we definitely weren't put off! A lovely site - friendly and clean with helpful staff. Fantastic facilities for our kids who loved the pools and trampolines as well as the free clown show. The region is lovely too. We particularly enjoyed visiting Port Le Crousty and the beaches near there. We fully intend to return and would definitely recommend this site.

We stayed at Le bohat for 2 weeks during September. The site was very quiet and we could select our own site which was level. The toilets and showers were good and the site owners are upgrading facilities further as they have only owned the site for a short while. It is a very relaxed and friendly site set in an orchard near the original farmhouse. There is a very good pool, slide etc. Being September ( the site closes on the 26th.) The restaurant was closed but was told by other campers the food was good. Jurian who owns the site with his wifw Rida was exceptionally helpful in all matters we enjoy walking and he supplied maps for some of the many walks in the area.If you have a laptop you can use wi fi for free in or near the site office. If you are a keen walker the coastal path north and south on the Gulf of Morbihan is stunning and easily accessible. The markets at Sarzeau and St Gildas De Rhys were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The produce, fish cheese veg etc was superb. A place to return to,but I have been told it is very busy in the summer months.

We have just returned from 12 nights at this site. We had a lovely large pitch which backed onto a small playground which was ideal for our 3 children. We were in the more open orchard area of the site which was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The wash block that we used was very clean and there was always plenty of hot water. On a few occasions at peak times we had to wait for a sink for the washing up but this was not a problem. The site is very peaceful with strict rules about noise after 10pm and we felt it was very relaxed. The pool area kept the kids happy and they have an hour set aside for lane swimming only each morning. The kids club organised a variety of activities and there was some light evening entertainment once a week. The area is nice and fantastic for cycling with lots of cycle routes. Weather can be mixed but when the sun was out it was very hot. We are not beach people but we did visit one which was very busy and there was an issue with seaweed which was quite smelly.

We just returned from a fabulous week on this site.
The site is in an old orchard and as we were visiting off season we could pick our own pitch within a limited section of the site as part of the site was closed. We had access to a large toilet / facilities block with plenty of showers, toilets and washing up facilities. Fresh bread was available every morning from reception.
Off season this is a lovely quiet relaxed 'grown-up' site although I imagine during July and August it gets pretty hectic! It seems to be perfect for the family with loads of onsite activities.
The surrounding area is great with lots to see, we can really recommend a visit to Auray and to Lamor Baden on the Golfe where you can walk on the gorgeous Ile de Berder at low tide. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby; we mainly used the Super-U and the market on a Thursday in Sarzeau is fantastic- we picked up fresh fish, local sausages and pate and fresh veg. We also had great shell fish collected straight from the local beaches!
We will definitely be visiting again.

This was our first trip to France camping, and as we had our dog with us we didn't want to drive too far once in France. We easily found the campsite and our pitch was lovely and large, quite a few English tents and caravans around us which was nice to see. Our two children aged 12 and 10 really enjoyed the swimming pools with the slides, they played table tennis a few times and we all hired bikes from the campsite for one afternoon. The campsite is kept nice and clean, the toilet and shower blocks are regularly cleaned and we were always greeted pleasantly at reception. We never ate at the bar but went a couple of times for a drink in the evening and always found a seat. They put entertainment (French) on once a week which is very popular.
One disappointed was with the beaches as they were covered in red smelly seaweed, which we were told are normally cleared but not this late in the season, we went 13-25th August which isn't really late. Overall a good holiday definitely recommend this site.

This camp site is a friendly, well run organisation. We received a friendly welcome and were allocated a semi-shaded, slightly sloping, quiet pitch in the corner of an area for four units. Our neighbours were of mixed European nationality, French, Dutch and British. The Dutch appeared to be present in the greatest numbers.
The on-site restaurant was pleasant, providing good food from a varied menu. Most could also be purchased as 'Take Away'. There was fresh bread available every morning and was a real treat.
The toilets, showers, washing facilities and swimming pools were clean, modern and well used. They were regularly cleaned which was completed outside the normal peak hours use.
The overriding impression of the site was clean, quiet, friendly and sociable. All was quiet after 2300 hours.
Places to visit are the local village of Sarzeau, the nearest town of Vannes, the Chateau Suscinio and the ancient Bretagne village of Poul Fetan near Quistinic.
Enjoy your holiday.
