Arrived on the Saturday to be informed that there was no water on site, had to get water from the only feed behind reception and haul it back to the touring field. Water wasn't back on until Sunday morning (no fault of the site but not want you want to hear when you just started your holiday).Pitches are small but flat. There are no separate shower/toilet blocks for the touring caravans, they are in the leisure complex 400 yards away!. There are only x2 showers and x2 toilets for the males and the same for the ladies and considering this is to cater for approx 80-90 pitches I find this inadequate.
The club is fine if you have small children as they have a kids club to entertain them but beware this goes on for most of the night, with virtually nothing for the adults.
The pubs down the road do good/reasonably priced food, but the nearest decent sized town is approx 8 miles away.

Arrived to find that site had no water, except at the reception block, and I had to haul my water barrel 400 yards back to reception to fill it.
Worse there was no water at the showers, and staff were flushing the loos with buckets of water dipped from the swimming pool. Very hygenic!
Site was full, pitches are small, and it seemed crowded.
Can't comment on the quality of the food or entertainment as we didn't partake.
Site is about 10 miles from the nearest town of any size
Nearby pub was advertising a Car Boot sale but didn't have one.
Staff were helpful but seemed out of their depth.

Very basic site for tourers more geared up for statics, good location next to beach its a good half hour walk down to the sea across an old mine field ( a sign says unexploded bombs in this area). Donna nook that's called. Much for kids to do they decided to stop the day time entertainment which is free and they did a BBQ and bouncy castle instead which was £1 for 20 mins on the castle. The night entertainment was rubbish a man did games. Loo and showers a good 10 min walk from the pitch. We had a corner pitch, there were 2 sides covered in stinging nettles so we came out the door of the van and got stung. We complained about nettles but they never did it. One water thing, showers small, and its a push one you get 30 seconds it goes off, they are located in the pool area.

We stayed at Sunnydale for two night on our way to Lowestoft. The wife and our daughter loved the site. Facilities very good, nice people. Would go back again. Good clubhouse and swimming pool, Toilets and showers all good. Good dog walks. And when we were there a big carboot sale on Sunday.

Touring part is lovely flat site at the opposite end to the entertainment block, so no noise. Nice fishing pond in middle of site with some good fish in it.
Toilets are spotless and so is the laundry room with a free spin dryer for towels.Pubs at the end of the road with a little garage shop nearby. Carboot sale most sundays which is quite big in the pub grounds.
Kids park brilliant

We booked this on a special offer for the 2nd week of Easter some time ago. We were really looking forward to going however I must report our observations.
We had booked for 7 nights. We stayed 1.
We have a brain injured son who has some disabilities and we have to book sites with the facilities to cater for people like this and disappointingly we have to report that there isn't.
We can report that for people in different circumstances this site may well be ok for them.
The field for the tourers isn't bad certainly not good or brilliant by some mile but the electric hook ups work well. The pitches themselves have suffered with groundsheet issues over the time and we had to now use one or be prepared for a mud bath due to conditions
The reception area and staff do welcome you well and you do feel welcomed. However we did complain about our issues to no avail.
The on site facilities have the extras such as the swimming pool, activities for kids and evening entertainment etc
For others it may well be suitable but for us just wasn't up to our needs.

Situation of the site very good and well kept but very dissapointed with facilities for tourers. There is no specific toilet or shower block and having to use the ones at the swimming pool led to there almost always being a que. Am not encouraged to go back again because of the lack of toilet facilities otherwise a nice site.

Jst got back from a great weekend here, nice play area for the kids, indoor pool which is free , bowling alley. There is a small fishing pond if you like that kind of thing. The pub/club has entertainment on , but however not the best weve seen on our travels. Prices were excellent only paid £20 quid for the weekend with electric hook up. Toilet shower block is in the leisure complex, buy however it is to a very high standard. A brill site and will defo use it again , just hope the entertainment is a bit better next time

This is one of the tourer sites we use a lot. We are leaving our caravan here for 8 weeks. I must point out though it is for caravan and trailer tents only. Toilet and shower block very clean, staff are always helpful and entertainment not bad either. We enjoy sitting in outside the village pub too. The nature reserve is only a short drive or 10 min walk away and it goes on for miles! Would definitely recommend this site

Just returned from a long weekend stay at Sunnydale. The site is very clean and tidy. Free access into the swimming pool, we went on two occassions and had the pool all to ourselves. The entertainment in the evenings was excellent, bingo everynight (numbers permitting) followed by fun and games for the children and then a live act. The toilets facilities for the touring camp is a short walk into the leisure centre also there is no washing up facilities on site. Only 1 elsan point and fresh water point for the touring camp. Very small site shop selling bare essentials. Security barrier on entrance which is electronically keyed. All the staff very friendly and polite. The nearest village is North Somercotes where there is Spar, Costcutter, good chinese takeaway, postoffice, butchers and petshop. Small petrol station actually in Saltfleet with shop facilities.
