Recently returned from a weeks stay at this site. Unfortunately I have to air my disappointment. Firstly the fresh and waste water facilities are inadequate and in my opinion a cause for concern. The taps and drainage points are approx 3 feet form the ground and could cause injury when people attempt to lift full 40ltr aqua-rolls etc after filling or to empty them. The siting of these taps was within 2 feet of our awning right in the middle of a row of caravans with no extra spacing allowed for. The shower facilities are again inadequate with only 2 male and 2 female showers, one of which didn't work, each only having a ripped shower curtain for privacy and nowhere to get dressed or to keep clothes even moderately dry! There was also the perennial problem of noisy, out of control kids around the club at night although I accept that this is a parental issue although little if anything is done to encourage this. The good points being the location and the Park itself being clean and tidy. The Staff are in the main helpful and friendly. I have written to the new owners Park Resorts detailing my concerns about these and other issues and have had a speedy reply. They are full of apology and have stated their intention to "re-focus" in some areas but I guess only time will tell.

We visited the site the last weekend of July and being a family with young children,we found the play area and swimming pool great for keeping the kids entertained. There is a small fishing lake which is in a fenced off area to stop young children wandering in. The clubhouse on site has entertainment most nights, but the food and drinks can be expensive. There is also a shop on site but it selection of items is very limited and the nearest large store is in Mapplethorpe which is 6 miles away. We found the showers and toilets well maintained, but a fair walk away from the touring caravan area. We would visit the site again and hopefully they will have the small issue's resolved before we visit again.

We have just returned from this site and can recommend it as a excellent family site. Situated in saltfleet, there is not a lot in the actual village but the site is very well maintained and does have a good entertainment program. It is mostly statics but does have an area for tourers and tents. Touring pitches are mostly level and situated on sandy grassed areas all with EHU. There is only one water point and one waste disposal but these are quite central.
Toilets and showers are situated a short walk away in the main leisure centre, Again these are kept very clean and are locked at night but keys are available only to tourers\campers. There is a small shop which sells only basics, But there is a garage just outside the site which also has a mini-mart which stocks any other items you may need inc. Gas etc. The beach is adjacent BUT is quite a walk across a 'marsh' then a very very wide beach, But beware the tide comes in very fast and can cut you off on sandbanks.
Entertainment comes in the form of indoor softplay area, Kids clubs during the day and family cabarets and parties in the evening. In fact there is something going on throughout the day plus an indoor pool which is free entry and a large outdoor park
If I had to name any 'downfalls' at this site it would be the fresh and waste water points being about 3 feet from the floor so a heavy container would or could be a problem, Also the showers could be a bit more private as they only have a curtain between the cubicle and the mens toilets and no where for you to place your clothes so trying to shower children is very awkward. A amenities block for the tourers\camping would be a good investment.
