Just got back after spending at week a Greenways. The site is excellent - the views are amazing and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We had a whole field to ourselves (which helped our enjoyment!) and most of the field was level and we had no problems trying to find an area to fit our 3 tents and gazebo. The plots are not marked out so you can have as much room as you like in times that are not busy, which is a bonus as we had two kids and a dog who had a blast running around the field.
I have to agree with the other reviews about the shower block. There are loads of toilets and showers, it was spotless and obviously very new, but you cannot change the angle of the showerhead, which blasts the water at the door. The shelf is too narrow and we ended up hanging our clothes in the shower next door to keep them dry (which we would not be able to do in busy times). You would need a bag to keep your clothes dry and take flipflops for the shower then you don't need to worry about the water pooling. This is a real shame as the owners have obviously spent a lot of money on the block. However the pressure of the water was really good and the water was always lovely and hot - one of the best showers we have had at campsites. Just remember your bag and flipflops and all will be fine!
The laundry and washing up room was huge. Plenty of room - lots of sinks, two washing machines and two tumble dryers. A real bonus for drying your stuff when it has been hacking down all day!
The only small gripe we had was that there is only one tiny freezer for ice packs which is kept in the locked office. Although Chris came out whenever he was phoned, it would be great if a freezer could be put in the laundry room. If the site was full and it is a hot week/weekend there would be no room for everyones ice packs.
Oxwich Bay is a short walk away and the beach is stunning. It is a bit of hike back up the hill, but only took us 20 minutes with two kids in pushchairs.
The shop was near the beach and stocked all the basics, but is a bit pricey. However it also stocks ice which was great for those cool beers and G&Ts after the climb back up the hill!
We didn't try the club house as the weather we had had was too good to sit indoors, but the others on the site said it was good
All in all we had a brilliant week and would definitely recommend staying at Greenways. We will be back again

Amazing site. Toilets are spotlessly clean and plenty of them, showers are plenty, free and warm. Yes the water hits a strange angle but once your aware of it, its fine.
Laundry room is huge, large sinks, washing machines, dryers and iron.
Site is well maintained and owners are friendly. When we went there were 3 fields to choose from and pitch wherever you like.
Amazing view of the bay, which is lovley beach to spend a day.
We were a party with children who were looking forward to the pool, however when they asked they were told there is no pool, in all honesty we didn't chase it up as we decided on the beach anyway for the day, but do check the pool is still available if it matters to you.
We would definitely go back again.

Stayed here in a 2-person tent with car, 2 people and dog. Site was not very busy for campers as we went in June 2011 (not around Bank holidays or school holiday time) - best time I imagine if you are wanting the quiet camping experience as we had.
There are 4 large camping fields where you can choose where to pitch (which is much better than a pre-allocated system in my opinion). CCTV in operation on the site which makes you feel safe and particularly good if you have kids I would imagine. Large play area for kids (swings, slides etc) that you could pitch near. Security barrier for which you put down a £10 deposit for.
You can walk to Oxwich beach and the local shops (cafe, off licence, shop) from the site (12 mins down a narrow lane (watch out for oncoming traffic if you are driving as it is a little tight at the bottom) and there are lovely walks from the site (Oxwich Point, Port Eyon, Oxwich Nature Reserve, Three-Cliffs Bay). Oxwich Beach has loads of rock-pool activity which is good for kids and adults who want to keep young.
Very dog friendly and unlimited use of showers (hot fast water and all included in the price).
Friendly staff in the office. Good value for money as can keep the car on the site and go off exploring for the day by foot thus avoiding local car park fees (£3. 50 at Oxwich for the day).
Thoroughly recommend The Captain's Table fish and chips on Port Eynon beach, went there 3 times. Also the ice cream van comes round the campsite at night. Didn't try the local shop at Oxwich but imagine it was well stocked, local garage on the road to Port Eynon had a good stock of supplies also.
First visit to Gower and would go back. Inland Gower also lovely for views of grazing sheep, horses with foals etc. Rockpools to the left of Rossili beach are a good place for kids to paddle in or the dog learn to swim!
Lots of deep, indoors dishwashing sinks with hot water (free), washing machine (charge), hairdryers (charge) and iron (charge).
Had considered staying at the more publicised campsites in the area but glad I made the decision to stay here - lots in its favour and the uncramped feel of it was a definite plus (not sure how it is like when busier).

This was our first camping trip with 2 children and myself and husband, we arrived at greenway leisure park around 12 we had plenty of fields to choose from which was great the site was very clean and well kept,
It did get busy because of the august bank holiday but there was still plenty of room for our tent and car and for the children to run around, the club house on site was nice and they have an outdoor pool, also an ice cream van came around which was nice for the children also the play area was nice to.
It was a bit loud at night with music from campers cars but apart from that it was fine and the views from the site are amazing.
The showers and washing up areas are great to, there is a shop at the bottom of the hill from the park and they also do chips etc but be carefull its very expensive

Back for a second year on this site and once again have enjoyed a pleasurable few weekends here.
The new shower block is great. Although the comments about the direction of the water from the shower head are valid, it is possible to shower without getting your clothes wet - if you hang your clothes in a bag on the hook on the door - problem solved - dry clothes! Also there are now mats on the floor in the showers so the water does not pool beneath you feet. The water's hot and free. Also plenty of toilet roll available.
The shower block has under floor heating - its so nice on a cold evening to go inside for a warm! Toilets were cleaned regularly throughout our stays.
This campsite is much busier than last year but there is still plenty of room for the kids to play.
All round a lovely campsite, we have not had any problems with noise during our stays. I'm sure if there was a problem with excess noise after 11pm it would be possible to ring the mobile number and someone would come and sort it out.
Love this site and will be there again next year. Have met lovely people while there and feels like a home from home.

A lovely campsite with a beautiful view. It wasn't very full although it was the summer holidays.
The flat pitches are surrounded by trees so even though it's very high up, there was no wind whistling through the tent, I had by far the best nights sleep I have ever had camping. The area is stunning though rural and there is no shop on site so you need to take.Batteries, food, etc. But is this not the fun of camping?
My only concern was when the owner said they needed a chip shop there. Please don't! There is a cafe by Oxwich beach 5 mins drive away.
Good facilities for young children include a swimming pool and nearby are lots of beaches with Llangenith a 15 min drive which is a fantastic surfing beach with ample parking for £3 per day.
Wash machines, indoor sinks for dish washing, masses of washbasins, showers, hairdryers (yay!) and an iron.
On arrival the staff were really friendly and we will definitely be coming back here.

We stay at this site as often as we can through out the summer months, we are a party of 6 adults and 3 children and 2 dogs.
we all enjoy spending time at the beach which is a short walk down the hill, the site is a very well kept site toilets and shower blocks are also very clean, they also have a good sized indoor dish washing area all newly built,
there is also a good supply of hot water.
the children's pool and play area are good our kids love them. There is also a good club house.
we would recommend a stay and you are sure to have a warm welcome from the owners as we always do.

We arrived on the Wednesday and were the only campers there! It took us 2 days to catch up with the site manager and pay him which we thought was very trustworthy! We chose a corner pitch, had loads of room. There is a great adventure playground for kids young and old and the toilet/shower block is brand new. However as previous reviews have mentioned, the angle of the shower head is annoying but strategic balancing/placing is needed!
There is no shop on site and I think one selling very basic items would go down well. On the weekend we did see an ice cream van drive through and it seemed to be welcomed by many. The clubhouse seemed to be open only on weekends or high season.10 min walk down a hill to the beach=killer walk back up,great views and very easy to find unlike some other sites in the Gower. Another plus is that you have until noon to leave the site. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a fun short break. The play area for the children was a huge hit with my 2 girls age 4 and 2, the pool was fun but was very cold.
Great new shower blocks and washing up facilities however, they didn't appear to be cleaned during our stay, and I agree with previous review with regards to shower - lack of space to keep clothes dry.
Overall a great family site and would return.

Have enjoyed a great weekend here as a family with friends. We received a warm welcome by the owner and were able to choose our own spot from several fields offering superb views over Oxwich Bay.
The wc/shower facilities were brand new although some attention is needed to the extremely high water pressure and the design of the showers means there is no space to keep your clothes dry whilst showering.
The children enjoyed the pool which was slightly heated. It would have been useful to have a small shop on site and the use of a fridge as there are no electrical hook ups here. We would come here again and recommend to friends.
