This was my first time camping, what a great time we had. Campsite was clean, good choice of pitches to choose from. Friendly staff.
Toilets, showers, kitchen area where all new and very clean, there's a swimming pool for the children and a club house good play area. We will return sometime this year along with the children and again with our friends. 5 stars all round.

Stayed over the bank holiday. Nice welcome and not too hard to find the place. It's next to a castle which I think is called oxwich castle.
There are 4/5 fields and you can choose where you stay. We stayed on the top field and had a lovely view of Oxwich beach. The playground was lovely for my 3 yr old daughter. The pool is very small and the club house was too busy to get in when there was bingo on a Saturday night.
There is no shop on site. But 5 mins down the hill there is a shop which sells everything although overpriced. Paid £6.99 for a small bottle of vodka which had £4.99 printed on the label as RRP.
Its a 5 min walk to the beach, which is the nicest beach I have seen. So lovely.
The shower block looks brand new. There are about 8 showers and 12 toilets. Its also a heated shower block which you noticed as soon as you go in.
On a negative side, the showers are not well designed. The water is directed outwards rather than downwards, so all you clothes on the door get wet. The water on the floor goes under all the shower doors, so other peoples water comes into you shower which I didn't like. The solution was to put my rain coat over my clothes on the door. But it is very hard to get dressed without something falling in all the water on the floor.
The showers block was only cleaned once a day. As this is the only shower block for the whole camp, it needs to be cleaned more often. Also when the block is cleaned, there is no other toilet access. The shower block floors were always covered in mud and someone kept putting tissue all over the sinks. It happened everyday for the 3 days I was there.
There are also outside showers which I thought was a good idea for the summer, or your dog.
We did come across dog mess when we arrived, which we had to clean up to pitch the tent. Also there were people having loud music and parties late in the night, but I was so tired I feel asleep.
All the all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. It is good for the price and a lovly location.

Just got back from Greenways, booked to stay the bank hol, was going to stay with the kids for the rest of half term. When we arrived we book in reception was not manned had to phone a mobile then wait, then had to pay £10 deposit for the use of a card that let you on the site. We choose not to stay, due to the noise at night. Shouting, loud music, up to 1:30 am, having 3 children age 7,5 and 11 months they found it hard to sleep till it was very late.
The new shower block looks very nice, but the water in the shower soaks everything in sight including your clothes on the seat and the door. Mud and sand was every where, and they didn't seem to get cleaned,no baby facilities.
On a better note the kids enjoyed the park. The pool looked nice and clean didn't try as it was to cold for me, we did not go to the club house as we played on the field by the tent, which had plenty of room.

Just returned from a great weekend and have already booked again for our return visit! Arrived after a wet few days but site was easy enough to drive onto with plenty of room to pitch our Eight berth tent. Lovely view over Oxwich bay.
We had been concerned about the toilet block from previous review's but the showers were hot, free and we didn't notice a drop in pressure. Toilets were cleaned daily and plenty of loo paper to be found in the toilets! We were advised by the owners that the shower block will be improved next year - but this is not the worst facilities thst we've seen by a mile.
My daughter and her friends loved the park (aged between 2 - 6 years old) We did not have chance to use the pool as we spent lots of time on the beach.
It would be a 10 minute walk down to the beach where there's a general shop, ice cream palour & fish & chip shop. We chose to drive and park in the car park (£3.50 per day). On the beach you can but drinks, chips, buckets & spades etc.
Centrally located for Caswell Bay, Langland Bay, Mumbles, with Swansea a 20 minute drive away.
If you want a family site where your children can play with plenty of room this is a great place to go. Granted the site was no where near full (approx 15 tents on the site) but we had a great weekend.

We visited this site as a large group made up of adults and children. The price of a large tent was £17.50 a night, our tent slept 6. The site was immaculate and the ground ideal for pitching tents, nice and flat. We had a choice of fields on arrival.
You have to pay a £10 deposit for a swipe card which permits entry and exit to the park (this is refundable when you check out)
The toilet/shower blocks were always clean but could do with updating. Hot water at all times and plenty of toilet roll available!
There was also a hut that joined on to the shower blocks that had sinks which we used to wash our dishes etc.In this hut you will also find plug sockets and mirrors, this pleased the females of the group as we were able to dry our hair in here! It would be great if a large refridgerator was available in there as well but you can't have everything I guess!
There is a swimming pool and games room with a bar but we did not use these during our stay.
5 minutes away from the site is the local shop and cafe bar-plenty of supplies in here including alcohol!
The site is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach down hill) where you can hire wet suits and surf/body boards for around £5.00 for half an hour.
The Oxwich Bay Hotel is right on the beach and the bar has a nice seating area outside where you can overlook the beach whilst sipping your drink. We did not eat here but the food looked good and reasonably priced.
We had a fantastic time during our three night stay so much so we have booked to go again on the 11th July!

This was our first experience of camping and we loved it! The site itself was lovely and clean and very quiet when we arrived. We were given a choice of fields to stay in with no restrictions on the amount of room we could have. Staff were very friendly, toilets nice and clean (cleaned regularly) my children advised me that the pool was very cold and the games room in the club was very basic and the machines were all turned off but this saved us a lot of money so I didn't mind. We had fantastic weather during our stay and there were lovely views of the beach. We will be returning soon.

A really lovely little campsite, where we enjoyed a fantastic weekend break!
The camping fields are large, well maintained, and with plenty of space to pitch as you please. There are quite a few touring caravans that seem to live there year round! The manager was lovely, very friendly and helpful and not at all fazed at having to book us in at 9.30pm, two hours after we said we'd be arriving! The rate is now £17.50 a night with a £10 refundable deposit for a swipe card that operates the car barrier into the park.
There is a lovely adventure playground at the foot of the camping fields, which our toddler loved and would be great for older kids too. There was an outdoor pool too, we didn't have time to try it out this visit but will do next time.
The toilet/shower facilities could admittedly do with a little updating, the shower pressure as mentioned isn't fantastic, but the water IS very hot, and unlimited, and free, and we managed just fine. The blocks were otherwise well equipped and were cleaned regularly over the duration of our stay. They were also nice and warm! Showers have no shelf but have a hook so we took our toiletries in a carrier bag.
There is no on site shop, but there is a well stocked little shop / cafe / tea room at the bottom of the hill, opposite the car park for Oxwich beach. The walk to the beach / shop / pub is about 5-10 minutes, the way back is uphill so you might want to park at the beach (£3) or get a bus back up - the little shop has free Gower bus timetables, grab one as you arrive to plan your travel!
The Oxwich Hotel is a nice stop off for a drink and serves lovely food. There's also a little hut on the beachfront itself that serves chips, hot dogs, pasties etc if you are at the beach for the day and peckish. Further afield there are some lovely walks along the cliffs to Three Cliffs Bay, and further afield to Port Eynon. We drove into Swansea (10 mins) to pick up supplies, there is a Tesco and a Sainsbury's both on the main road through.
Worth mentioning is that the site does not have electric hookups in the camping / caravan field so a lot of the caravanners use generators, which generate a bit of noise! These were turned off at a reasonable time of night and didn't cause us any problems but might be worth knowing.
Overall, a lovely little campsite, very friendly and welcoming to families. We were unlucky enough to encounter a particularly rude and obnoxious group camping next to us on our second night, who were loud and disruptive, but I think that we were just unlucky. We were unable to telephone the manager as we'd left our mobiles at home, but upon talking to him the next morning we received a genuine apology and an assurance that the offenders would be removed and not welcome there again; we felt it was handled very well. Worth taking your mobile though, and storing the manager's number which is on a sign on the office door, he assured me that if he is telephoned all troublemakers are dealt with swiftly.
We have already booked to return and hope to become regular visitors to this lovely site.

Lovely campsite with stunning views over Oxwich Bay. You can walk to Bay but down the main road which isn't ideal with young children. Facilities great - lots of toilets, and hand basins. Only let down by the showers - no queueing but no pressure so more of a dribble than a shower! Ice blocks frozen for free! Nice outdoor swimming pool for the kids but did seem to open too late in the morning. Would return if in the area.

Price is £15 a night. There is a park for the kids to play, swimming pool and a small club house on site. Quite a walk for the beach but there is a bus service to come back up or you can pay to park the car. The toilet block needs quite a bit of refurbishment as really old. The showers not very good but was only there for 2 nights so managed ok. Overall had a fantastic weekend!

Excellent! Reasonable flat rate £15 a night. The manager very friendly and helpful. Plenty of room for the kids to play, a park, swimming pool, small club house on site. Up hill from the beach about 10 min walk, easier to take the car costs £3 a day to park in the beach car park. Coffee / grocery shop by beach and shops on beach. Shower not excellent and water pressure not very good, but water hot. Would definitely recommend you try.
