This was our second visit to a great little campsite. We stayed at a busy weekend and although there are only 2 showers and 3 toilets (1 is a portaloo) we never had to queue. The washing up sink is outside and only has cold water but you can fetch hot from the basins in the loos if necessary. Washing up liquid, toilet paper and paper towels are all provided and the facilities were clean.
Camping in the main field (I think the lower area next to the woods may be reserved for Caravan Club members) is only around the edges, so there is plenty of room in the middle for ball games etc.
There is a decent pub in Northrepps village just 5 mins walk from the site - we didn't eat there this time, but food was good on our previous visit.
There is a very pleasant 40 minute walk through the woods and across fields to Overstrand, a lovely village with several places to eat and drink. If you fancy a longer walk, you can get to Cromer either along the cliff top or the beach.

A typical Certificated Site, basic and quiet. Grass mown and very spacious pitches (mostly all with electric hook up) One toilet/shower block - One male and one female toilet & basin plus two shower rooms, all have electric fan heaters and are spacious. Facilities are basic but clean with hot water, paper towels and plenty of loo roll. We were there over Whit and they were cleaned twice daily.
We enjoyed the woodland walks which were ideal for the kids & dog. The local pub was very welcoming.
We would use site again, but would need to be in lower field as very steep slope up into top field - for towing a 4X4 is really required.

Had a great long weekend at this site.
The camping field was perfect for our family with large pitches, plenty of room for the kids to play and the adjoining woods made the perfect kids play area. The site was well kept and the toilets and showers clean. Although there are only two toilets and showers this was never a problem.
It was very quiet at night with only some muted conversations heard after 11pm.
The beach at Overstrand was fantastic, large flat sandy areas once the tide was out and not crowded at all despite the rare sunny weather.
The local pub was just a short walk, but very busy, it may be worth booking, although we did manage to get a table in the small garden.
We will be returning for a longer stay.

Just got back from Scrublands - camped on the caravan & camping members site - although it has been very wet lately the ground was not too soggy, it seems the ground is quite well drained. Grass is cut and everywhere is very tidy.
Toilets & showers were clean with good supply of toilet rolls & paper towels. Hot water is not rationed so you can have a good shower. At the back of the shower/toilet block is a small wash-up sink. These facilities are however limited with just 2 loos and 2 showers. The welcome from the owners was good and the booking was no problem.
There were campers on the top field which is an excellent place to camp if you have children as there is plenty of room for them to play safely. We were lucky to have some beautiful weather and the sun really shines on the site it is not blocked out by trees etc. , although the bottom site backs on to woodland it is still a bright place to camp.
We used the local pub in the village of Northrepps and were made to feel very welcome. They serve good meals & have a lovely garden at the back. Its a 10mins walk max. Its an excellent base for the Norfolk coast & attractions, but a lovely quite place to come back to after a day out.

This is a really nice campsite and in a great location, a bit of a walk from Overstrand but it's a really nice walk, so nice that we ended up walking all the way from Overstrand to Cromer along the beach. We would agree with others about the lack of toilets and showers. We didn't have any problems but it was very quiet and I imagine it's a bit of a nightmare when the site is full.
Not really sure what the houses next door make of having a campsite right next to them but they don't seem to mind too much
Really great place nonetheless and we'd definitely go back. The owners are nice too.

We stayed at this campsite for 6 nights over Easter. The site has two halves one for members of the C&C Club and the other for non-members. Both are well tended, grass mown and very spacious pitches (mostly all with electric hook up). There is one toilet/shower block to service all pitches. One male and one female toilet & basin plus two shower rooms. All have electric fan heaters and are spacious (plenty of room to take children in and get changed etc without getting soaking wet!). There is a baby changing table in the ladies toilet. Basic but clean with hot water, paper towels and plenty of loo roll. Cleaned daily.
The site is spacious with plenty of space for children to play in the central area of the field away from pitches plus a large woodland which is ideal for children to make dens in, play and generally have fun in. There is no play equipment on site but there is a play park in the village. Also in the village is a very nice pub The Foundry where we enjoyed a lovely reasonably priced meal and local Woodfordes ale.
There are lots of country walks nearby and you can walk along footpaths to the beach via a 4 mile circular walk. The owner has local maps available to borrow during your stay. A lovely quiet, countryside site. Ideal for visiting Cromer, Sheringham, various National Trust properties and plenty of family attractions nearby. No shop on site or in village but plenty of local shops, supermarkets, fish & chip shop etc nearby. An excellent, good value for money site.

Staying with my husband and 2 children. This site is small which I prefer. The facilities are limited with 2 showers and 2 toilets and an outside washing up unit however as per previous reviews there is also a porta loo. We were in pitch 8 on the top field which is on a slope however the pitch was huge so we were able to move the tent a bit to level it out so was only left with a small slope.
Camping isn't supposed to be about luxury anyway so we were happy enough and would definitely recommend to friends wanting a small quiet site like this. If we go to Norfolk to camp again then we will probably return to this site as I've said before I think these smaller sites are better than the big noisy ones with clubhouses and people getting hammered and making loads of noise.

Was disappointed with this site as it is not Motorhome friendly, lucky for us we had half a tank of fresh water on board, as there was no where to fill a motorhome on site, and waste disposal facilities were very primitive.
The bottom field is level but the field we had to pitch on was very steep to say the least. There are only 2 toilets and showers which is not very many when there are 50 people on site. On the plus side it is in a very pleasant area, and there is a pub just down the road that serves food, and the owner was friendly enough.

We have just got home from this site. A typical Certificated Site, basic and quiet. We were in the large field, with units all round the outside and a huge area in the middle, great for children.
There is another smaller field, down a slope which I think is for EHU.
The facilities are what you would expect from a CS, a portakabin with 2 showers and a toilet each for men & women. Sometimes we had to wait to use the toilet or shower but I didn't find this a problem. The facilities were kept clean and well stocked with toilet rolls/towels etc. I would visit again.
We always hire a boat for a few hours on the broads from Potter Heigham. We visited Cromer beach which would be great for rock pooling, we also visited a beach at West Runton, a lovely sandy beach. Sheringham is a lovely town, as is Wells. In previous years we have visited Africa Alive, Banham Zoo, Dinosaur adventure which were all enjoyable.

This is a small pleasant site. The owners are really friendly and helpful.
There’s a spinney at the top of the small field. Great for kids to play in. At the far side of it is a footpath that you can follow to Overstrand and the sea. It’s about a mile and a half. Not suitable for pushchairs. Possibly OK for mountain bikes. The surrounding lanes are also ideal for cycle rides.
You can also follow the footpaths or cycle to Mundesley if you’re feeling fit. Beautiful sandy beaches. We used the car and found space in the car park!
It's good to see the owners have responded to recent reviews. There are now steps going up to the toilet and showers. The facilities are kept spotless by a local lady who visits several times a day. We were there for the whole of the school spring bank holiday week. The site was full but the pitches were well spaced and we were not overcrowded. One shower went faulty over the bank holiday, but the owners had a new pull switch fitted as soon as the holiday was over. Very responsive!
Bus no 33 goes past the gate and goes to Cromer or North Walsham. From Cromer there are good bus connections right along the coast.
Wednesday night is Quiz night at the village pub. Great fun but we were caught out with questions on the local area and about Norwich football club who have somehow scraped their way into the Premier Division.
