Stayed here to explore the North Norfolk coast. Thought others would benefit from some observations during our stay.
Firstly, the images don’t really reflect what the site looks like. The farmhouse is nowhere near the site and I have no idea where the glamping pods were. There were 2 fields side by side. One open and very square and the other is long and thin. I think the thin side was for non C&C members. Couldn’t ever find a flat bit of land to settle in for the night.
Toilet block is a prefab unit clad in metal. One toilet each along with 2 showers. This block was stuck right in front of our pitch so a bit of an eyesore IMO. The washing up was on the back of the prefab unit. It was a bit of a daft design as, whilst there were two sinks set into the corner, both bowls were adjacent to each other so you couldn’t ever have two people washing up as they would be standing in the same spot.
Washing up liquid was provided though which was a nice touch and water always hot.
I just thought the price tag per night didn’t really justify what was being offered.
The local pub, The Founders Arms, was lovely. Good delicious and staff really friendly.
It’s not a bad base but the site wasn’t the best. Even our pitches on the thin field were sited on the wrong side. There’s high trees all along the perimeter so the thin field got limited sun. Owner was friendly though.

Nice quiet site. Toilet/shower block could do with updating although clean & always plenty of hot water.
Quite narrow road to get to from the main road but plenty of passing places, meeting a tractor with a baler & combine harvester on the way was a bit hairy but fortunately we were near a long wide passing area

A peaceful rural location. Clean enough facilities. Plenty of space. Ground was good for pitching my tent. Enjoyed my stay.
Can walk to Overstrand beach in 30 minutes and lots of quiet lanes for walking and wildlife spotting.
I haven't many camping experiences to compare it to but I was very satisfied.
Thank you hope to stay again!

Basic clean and good facilities. Very quiet and a mix of motorhomes, caravans and tents.
Price per night acceptable
Access to site down a very narrow road but we managed it.
All covid measures very good from welcome, payment and cleaning of toilets and showers.
No local shops but only a few miles from Cromer
A pub at the end of the road although we didn't visit
Lots of walks in the area

Nice little campsite, pretty basic, but quiet which is what we prefer.
The facilities were kept very clean, although they are starting to look a bit tired and could do with being updated soon.
Five minutes walk to the local pub which was handy, with plenty of other pubs a short drive away.
Well situated for exploring the stunning north Norfolk coast.

Lovely peaceful location to explore the area. Local pub not as we had hoped but maybe because of Covid restrictions.
Ann Youngman was very helpful and was able to extend our stay for an extra night to make the most of the glorious weather.
Only suggestion is more toilets and showers.
We shall return!

Loved the location of this site. Well away from main roads and busy spots. Contacting the owner was easy and campsite and location easy to find despite intermittent phone reception with Vodaphone/ google maps.
Site was clean and sanitary facilities well maintained.
Our portable BBQ was allowed, as were dogs.
It's not a huge site, and has no entertainment on site, but a pub nearby, which suited us fine, but may not be great for kids. It's a short drive to the nearest supermarket of any size, beach etc. , but since we were by car that didn't matter.
There's a small (but very clean) toilet block which may not be sufficient in busier times (it is COVID now, so perhaps a bit quieter than usual and we went mid-week). The hot water for washing up ran out quickly.

Read reviews and to be honest was afraid of what we would find.
However instructions to find farmhouse were simple there is adequate space to park car and caravan on side of road to check in. The road to the campsite is just opposite and we had no problems using it yes it is narrow as you near the campsite but it is certainly not a track.
The campsite is just outside of the village with a lovely pub which did good food.
And there is a bus that stops outside the gates for Cromer.
The people we spoke to said they had been coming for years and love the peace which I must admit was lovely.
Could do with a larger toilet/shower block but for what you pay per night it is ideal.
Will certainly go again.
