 Sometimes I find a perfect site and hate to leave a good review, lest it gets too popular! These folks deserve the review though.
Lovely site. Quiet, calm, easily accessible. Café and shop just out of sight. Usually to get a café and shop you have to go to a large commercial site, but this is the perfect mix of back-to-basics quiet site, but with extras thrown in!
The family were all very friendly and helpful.
Lack of flash toilet facilities did not deter us but made us try out our onboard facilities. It will be good when the building work is finished though and proper toilets etc are available. Just hope it doesn't make the place TOO popular! ;-)

Just returned from this site and what hidden gem. Owners currently in process of building new toilets and shower block. Visited during airshow. Only stopped one night but will be back again. Nice and clean site with lovely cafe. Shop selling all items and on site butcher's ideal if your bbq'ing. The owner's and staff are lovely and friendly and nothing was too much for them and always with a smile. Will return soon

We are a family with 2 toddlers and 1 teen ideal location for what we wanted,
Arrived late friday with friendly staff in shop,
Excellent views, peaceful location, no mod cons on camping site- but that is what we wanted for our first weekend away,
There is a portable loo which is clean, running cold water,
Big spacious field, plenty for teen son to explore,
This is more than we expected perfect for us and will be back next rally weekend.

No noise, no electric, just a lovely peaceful site. My two eldest children loved the area for dog walking and tree climbing and the youngest loved the cafe at the farm shop for ice cream. The farm shop was great and served lovely local produce - the beef they sell is their own.
No toilets on the actual site but there are some in their farm shop and cafe which we could use during the day - we turned up late Friday night and they were open until 9pm serving fish & chips. My husband was very happy as after a long drive the fish & chips and a beer was just what he needed. What a wonderful find!
