My husband and I visited this site along with our 3 children, 15,4 and 2. What a great time we all had. The site is very peaceful and spacious, we were a little worried that camping during the school holidays could be a bit of a nightmare but we needn't have worried. The toilets were exceptionally clean at all times and showers were great with lots of hot water.
There was a small playground, with a couple of swings and a slide, which was plenty to keep our children entertained. The highlight of our trip was the beautiful river that passes through the site, it was so pretty and took my husband and I back to our childhood, something so simple provided so much fun!.
We will definitely be returning to this site, there are lovely places nearby to visit, we could not find any fault with the site and staff at this site - it did what camping is all about - peace and quite in beautiful surroundings

We think this is the best site we have been to. On arrival we were met by Eddie and Kate who couldn't have been more helpful, Eddie showed us around the site pointing out the water points etc. He gave us a choice of pitches which were all nice and level and plenty of room for awning.
The toilets and showers were immaculate they even met my wife's high standards. The grass mower picked up all the clippings so you don't get grass inside your unit. At night all we could hear was the noise of the river and the occasional bleating of the lambs.
The only downside was the steep walk to the local pub but that,s because we are not fit pensioners, we had one meal at pub and it was very good, nice friendly people. We would definitely go again.

This is one of the nicest sites I have ever been to. The atmosphere of the site is very tranquil and it is immaculately maintained. The shower block is spotless and very roomy.
The site is located next to a river and the surrounding welsh countryside is lovely.
We came here for a couple of days just to unwind and loved it so much we have paid for a seasonal pitch.
If you want peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere this place is heaven.
The wardens are the nicest, friendliest wardens I have ever met; really pleasant and easy-going. We have been made to feel really welcome and relaxed.
This place is spot on.

This is one of the best sites we have stayed on. It is in a beautiful location and is very secure with two gates which are locked between 11pm-7am. The wardens are very friendly and helpful. On arrival we were given a choice of about 6 different pitches to choose from and for August the site was pretty quiet.
The facilities are all excellent and well thought out with lots of hanging hooks and shelves in the sink area. In the ladies there were 6 toilets, 2 showers, 2 private washrooms and 5 other sinks which were all kept spotlessly clean. There is also a hairdryer available for 20p.
The dishwashing facilities are also inside a separate room with 3 big sinks / drainers. The launderette has a washing machine (£2) and tumble dryer (50p for 25mins). There is also an iron and ironing board and 2 large sinks.
The weather was terrible when we stayed and the site got water logged from the constant rain. However all the water drained away very quickly once the rain had stopped. Our pitch got particularly waterlogged by the front door but did eventually dry out.
There is a pretty river which flows by the side of this site (the only sound that can be heard at night) and there is a good enclosed dog walk which leads to a riverside walk if you go over the stile in the corner of the field.
The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and ideal for people like us who like walking.
We will definitely be returning to this site. Hopefully in better weather next time though!

Well run site, tranquil compared to others we have visited. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and other visitors friendly too. A quiet site, attractive setting by the river with good walks locally and on the surrounding hills. Clean dog exercise area and spotless shower block. Rather remote which suits us. Good little pub up the valley by Towy bridge, half an hour walk max, friendlier than the pub in the village. A site we will return to.

Wow fab site. Womens toilets and shower block were a joy to use - cleaned 4 times a day by the staff and completely disinfected for an hour each day! (can't comment on the men's!). Grass is cut and collected so no bits of grass in the tent! Staff helpful and lovely location. Very small playground with slide and swings and ball area, but enough to provide somewhere for the kids to gather (& enough for our pre-school children). Nice local walks from the campsite, felt like a proper campsite not a holiday park - we loved it and will return.

Lovely lovely site. As previously said all facilities spotless. Had passed this site some time ago on kayak and always said we would go there, very glad we did. Staff really friendly. Only one small point the top field seemed rather more privet than first field, on some pitches people seemed to overlook you from all directions, but this was only a small number.

A fantastic site the wardens are the most helpful we've ever met and the facilities are immaculate. The site is quiet and peacful and ideal for a relaxing few nights in a beautiful location. The local shop is a steep walk at the top of the hill but has a good stock and the owners actually do come to the site on the weekend with bacon, juice etc. Mobile phones and satellite navigation do not work in the area but there is a payphone and the site is well signed from the road. Would definitely return!

This is our favourite C&CC site. We have been to stay for a few holidays, we can get to Llandsul to see family from here, and go up to the dam, and the country side in the area is outstanding. The site itself is set in a valley with the river running along side, the mountain view's are spectacular.

If peace and quiet wanted this is the site, but can get very windy. Staff very helpful, All Facilites well kept and spotless at all times. Small Post Office/shop top of lane. Plenty of walks around the site or Drive 6 miles to Llyn Brianne Reservoir for spectacular views.
Our first time of pitching our own tent!
Arrived Good Friday pm for 3 nights-sampled wind rain and snow but can't wait to return.
