Only went to this site as we left it to the last minute to book and it was one of the only C&CC sites left. Really glad we did go as its a lovely site situated in the middle of a valley. Not much to do in the surrounding area unless you are into walking, bird watching, cycling or just relaxing in the beautiful scenery.
Only bad thing I can say about the site is that the right turn into the valley doesn't have ANY signs pointing at it, so if you aren't expecting the right turn down the hill you will miss it and as its single track road for a fair few miles you'll have a way to go to turn around even if you don't have a trailer or caravan.
Toilets and showers really clean and modern, nice spacious pitches. However the family next to us was made to take down their day tent, so I'd ring and ask in advance if you plan to pitch a day tent or similar. The play area is a little small but looks new and has that padded floor that they all seem to have these days. There is even a playing pitch set aside for the kids to play on.

Typical club site, dead flat and perfectly manicured. Facilities spotless and lots of toilets, showers, etc. Dish washing and laundrette facilities. Families and groups tend to be kept separate from couples. site was very tranquil despite being over half full. Area is beautiful countryside. The Cambrian way goes through the edge of the site. Cyclists abound especially heading to Llyn Briane reservoir. Route out of Llandovery not well marked and don't attempt to drive north of Llyn Briane with a caravan in tow as roads are steep (>20%) and very narrow. That said the views are stunning so enjoy whilst caravan is on-site. Rules are enforced - I was politely asked to drive slower when my estimate of 5mph was obviously too high. Will go again. several times. I'm hooked. In fact I've signed up to the club. PS. Don't pitch next to the river if you might need to use the facilities in the middle of the night. The sound of running water may be too much to bare!

Fantastic! best return to camping one could hope for. Ablutions block super clean always. Site level & well kept grass. Beautiful riverside location (my pitch 10ft from riverbank). Red Kites flying overhead, birds & squirrels in the trees / hedges. Very quiet location close to RSPB site & Elan Valley. Decent pub grub nearby.Tiny village store. Against: No TV signal (apparently), No DAB signal (shame for me) No mobile 'phone (clean phone in main building). Not much for Kids (which is fine by me!) by way of things to do, I'm going back next month.

April 2005 Very clean well appointed site. Toilets and showers cleaned 3 times a day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and never seemed to be off duty. Excellent river and hill walking from site. Local pub with good food within easy walking (uphill). The site was quite soft when we arrived, and it was difficult to get back off, though the staff offer help.
One thing to watch, make sure that you turn left when leaving the site, not back up the hill, otherwise those of you with caravans will ground at the top of the hill. There are signs on the site reminding you of this. We will definitely return later in the year.
