Want to really get away from it all, with like minded others, give this place serious consideration. This place offers a warm and friendly welcome from campers and hosts alike. The facilities are immaculate in standard and hygiene. Dogs are welcome, but obviously must be kept under control. You must visit what I call the 'secret garden', just a minutes walk from wherever you are camped. It is exclusive to the site, it is a conservation area, as you will see it is nature left alone (apart from the grass path maintained for obvious reasons), a real slice of tranquillity. Do not go to this site if you want loud music and late nights. However, if you want peace and quiet, and really want to get away from it all-this is the place. The proprietors of this site are most accommodating and have a good knowledge of the local area, whatever your needs. Hope to see you all again.

The best site where I have ever been.
Facilities are clean and in working order. Not wild partites at 4 am.
Owners hospitality on very high level, children are welcome :)
If you want get away and chill, this is the place to go. You do need some kind of transport, because closest shop is 3 miles away.

We stayed here in July 2005 and had a wonderful week. Partly due to the amazing weather (sunny every day - in fact we were longing for clouds by Wednesday) and partly due to the superb facilities and friendly nature of this site.
Toilets and showers were immaculate, with nice touches like soap and towel in two cubicles and a blackboard for current recommendations for places to go, eat, etc. Hosts were welcoming and everyone very friendly. The beautiful pond and nature area was a welcome haven as it had shade, unlike the camping field!
It was also very refreshing to stay on a gay-only campsite, not that we usually have any bother but it made it easy to talk to people. Mind you my partner sad it took the fun out of dyke-spotting! Highly recommended
