A lovely small campsite set in a wonderfully quiet location, just our cup of tea! Margaret and Georges have lots of information on the local area and there is plenty to see and do, they have maps of local walks too. The facilities were immaculate; I can honestly say I’ve been in kitchens that haven’t been this clean! We wanted to stay for longer but they were full, I think we were lucky to get the 3 nights that we did as we were last minute. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this site if you want a warm welcome and some peace and quiet, best book ahead if you don’t want to be disappointed

We have been to this site on three occasions so far. Each time you are welcomed by the family who provide you with a tray of tea/coffee/soft drinks what ever you want.
The site is quiet. There are maps of walking routes provided for you be it for a walk of less than an hour or two or three hours.
If you want bingo, bars and beers then go elsewhere.
When you leave the site the whole family come to wave you bye bye - they make you feel valued clients and we shall return for our 4th, 5th 6th etc. Stays with them.
Brilliant

A-maz-ing. Just had our 3rd visit to Manzac and again there is nothing to fault. You could do a lot worse (as we have found out the last 2 years) having split our fortnight away, a week at Manzac and a week elsewhere. The elsewhere's could not match up to Manzac on any level. You won't be disappointed with anything. The campsite, owners, facilities and area are all perfect. We shall be returning in 2015.

Manzac was just perfect for our recent holiday. We were both nackered and needing a break from work and life stress and stumbled upon this beautiful location where we were able to completely relax and slow down.
Other positives were the family who run the site - really welcoming, interesting and genuine, the sparklingly clean toilets and showers, other campers, and the numerous walks from the site for the dogs. We also attended the local vets for our dog needing stiches as well as passport signing off etc, and they were brilliant - a lot cheaper than in the UK and very good quality care.
Can't fault manzac ferme, George, Margaret, Lawrence or Vera. Thanks again and we wouldn't hesitate to come back if we were driving to the dordogne again!

Leaving today after seven days bliss. Site quiet and in very rural setting, well set out with six hard standing pitches. Shower / toilet facilities five star! Owners friendly and helpful as was the weather! Dog friendly, with walks and river on site. A real gem, booking essential. Will certainly return for another visit.

Total relaxation away from hustle and bustle of everyday life. Very rural with large pitches and free wifi. Showers and toilets immaculate and site overall very clean only a small site with a few pitches but ideal for us and the dogs, who didn't want to leave! An ideal place to unwind, soak up the countryside and recharge ones batteries. All pitches with electric hook up. Highly recommend this site.

I've been to Manzac Ferme three times now. The first time I stayed, I only camped for two nights, but it became immediately clear that this campsite was more than a rest point along the way. Manzac IS the destination. So I came back just a couple of weeks later for a more extended stay, and again the year after for even longer. (Eventually I'm going to want to move in at this rate. )
I love this campsite because: the pitches are secluded and covered with trees - essential shade for hot summers; girolles grow in abundance in the neighbouring wood, ready to be picked and turned into a gourmet campfire feast; there's reliable and fast WIFI (and even a power cord to the tent); my dog Rocky is more than welcome. But the best thing is probably the people - Laurence, Vera, George and Margaret are the best. So friendly and welcoming and ready with a bottle of wine and good conversation but at the same time respect the space of the campers. They do everything they can to make this a beautiful, tranquil retreat for grown-ups and their four-legged friends.
Practical matters: The showers and toilets are clean. The pitches are level. The grass is soft. And the wine is cold.

Genuinely cool camping: think Henry’s at Lizard with a French twist and you’ll understand why Manzac Ferme is such a lovely campsite. Situated to the north of the Dordogne region, and with easy access from a fairly quiet minor road, Manzac Ferme provides excellent pitches in a beautiful French setting, with the woodland glades by the river offering a particularly magical encounter for the tenting community.
A happy and laid-back experience, reinforced by friendly and enthusiastic owners.

We spent 9 nights here and we have to say if it's peace, personal attention and a beautiful site with excellent facilities this is the place. As with all the arrivals you are met and personally greeted, shown the facilities and provided with fresh tea and homemade biscuits. What service! The site owners are very friendly and fascinating people. They even invited us to drinks on the night of departure in their wonderful garden. That's all I want to say now as if I play it up to much then we may never get another booking. Can't fault the place at all and the people who run it. Fantastic

We arrived at Manzac in the glorious sunshine, giving us a chance to see the beautiful site and all the pitches that are perfectly cut out amongst the woodland and alongside the river at the bottom of the site. We were greeted by Laurence and Vera who welcomed us with a tour round the site and asked us to pick our pitch so that they could mow it freshly for us! After a quick tour of the facilities - super clean every day - we were helped to carry our kit down to our chosen pitch and Vera brought us homemade banana muffins and a caffitiere of fresh coffee! I have never had such a warm welcome at a campsite before, the hosts really care about you staying there and the facilities are excellent. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night due to a severely leaking tent and some extreme Dordoigne rain! We will be back next year for sure.
If you visit one campsite in France. Make it this one! You will not be disappointed!
