Our first visit to this well maintained Caravan club site, the site follows an upward sloping road with grassed and hard standing pitches either side. The site spreads out into three levels at the top of the site with a children's play area located in the middle level.

Plenty of service areas located around the site, TV signal is obtained by plugging into a coax socket on the EHU tower.

If your paying for the club wifi, be advised the signal is very poor at the top, of the site due to tree cover.

Milk and bread at reception, no papers.

Stock up with provisions before you arrive, we didn't try out the cafe at the next site as we had plenty to BBQ.

The beach is beautiful with lovely walks along the sands, we visited in the second week in June during the off peak season. Lots of off lead dogs running amok during our visit, this curtailed our visits to the beach area.

A typical caravan club site, spotlessly clean facilities, very friendly staff. The beach is a short walk away and dogs are allowed which is why we went there. The hill down to the site is very steep and we were concerned about it when we got there as our old vw developed a clutch issue on the way but a good run at it got us up to the top fine (as advised by the lovely landlord of the local pub) The pub is a bit of a walk through the dunes but well worth it and the dog was welcome there too (even in the restaurant) lovely food was a bonus.

Excellent site, good location and really well cared for. Unfortunately no TV signal so take along your co-ax cable.

Toilet area and amenity blocks were good, clean and well looked after.

Ate at the Longhouse restaurant next door. It was ok but nothing more than everything with chips and bought in puddings.

The late evening/early morning walks on the beach made it a fantastic stay and would definitely visit again

We booked this site for a beach holiday. Thanks to a glorious summer this site was perfect. The beach is a short walk away so no filling the car with sand and was not too busy with plenty of space for ball games. The sea was shallow with plenty of waves for body boarding with the children.

The site is long and thin with terracing at the very end which is where we were pitched. The pitches sloped slightly so some levelling on grass was required. There were more grass than hard standing pitches which again, the weather helped with.

The staff were very strict on the 12. 00 entry as there is no space for waiting on the drive way and pitching to the peg, but were pleasant and helpful when questioned.

The play area is a reasonable size and allowed the children to make friends, which is the main point in my opinion.

The wash blocks let this site down in my opinion, but I think that is why this site is cheaper than some other CC sites. They are beautifully clean and well maintained but are very small and need updating with more cubicles both for the showers and toilets. I wonder whether an update is due shortly for this site. There was an outdoor wetsuit shower which was very useful at one of the blocks but more would be great as a lot of people were using them.

The washing up area also suffered from the need for updating, there were not enough sinks for the number of pitches meaning there was always a wait and as they are outside, this would be a problem in inclement weather.

The area is beautiful for walking and visiting beaches and a number of people had also bought boats with them. There was a storage area for these near the entrance. In order to shop or visit anywhere you did need to drive. The nearest shops were approx 10 mins away. There is an awful lot to do in the Tenby area and lots of 'days out' activities. We were very fortunate in that the weather was stunning and we spend 2 weeks on the beach!

Overall, I would visit this site again in the knowledge that it is peaceful and we could get away from it all.

P. S. No phone, no wifi and very little television signal - only 4 channels, something the children found hard to believe!

A well-run, very clean campsite in a beautiful location. Yes, it has no mobile signal or wifi but surely that is a selling point for some of us? Freshwater Beach, clean and sandy, is a mere stroll away. For more determined walkers, the Pembrokeshire coastal path runs past the site. In the three days I stayed here, I also visited Bosherston Lily ponds, Broadhaven beach and went horseriding. A previous post complains about nothing to do. May I suggest a little research before leaving for holidays? Or if club-houses are more your thing, Kilne Park in Tenby is not far away.

If I had a quibble with the site, it is that the tent area is too close to the brightly lit toilet block whose light is intrusive at night - perhaps they could switch a couple of the outside lights off after midnight? Saying that, the skies are so clear that I saw a shooting star walking back to the site one night - a lovely sight for an urbanite like myself!

Stayed 7 days - too long. Expected more things in walking distance. No mobile signal and no internet. Had just bought 20 hours from the caravan club for internet access which I could not use. The nearest pub was up a steep hill and the holiday camp was shut for WINTER. The weather was not that warm but it was June which I thought was classed as summer. There was not a shop within walking distance unless you can do 6 mile round trip and the campsite shop was limited. The toilets and showers were very clean but not enough of them. I do not mind waiting for a shower but waiting for a loo is too much. The nearest beach was not clean and there was a warning to not paddle in the stream running down to the beach! Great site for 2 days. I don't think Wales is open yet this year.

Spent 12 nights here at start of school holidays, (2 adults, 1 fourteen year old daughter and 2 dogs) knew it would be busy and had hoped for a hardstanding but pitched on grass. Most pitches slightly sloping, make sure you have wood blocks with you.

No phone signal at all which was heavenly when you have a teenager with you. (5 min drive to top of hill for signal). On site Wi-Fi was too expensive for us and surprisingly we didn't miss that either! Had to buy a tv cable though from the site shop (£15. 00) so we could watch the Olympics as have never invested in a satellite dish just for the caravan. Must admit this is the first Caravan Club site unable to get a tv signal that we have visited.

As previous comments this is a long site from the entrance to the furthermost pitches, but having said that it is quieter once you pass the second toilet block. Only waited twice for a shower ( for about two mins at most considering how busy the site was) and always plenty of hot water and kept clean.

No designated dog area but we have 2 labradors so off site walks are essential and we always consider what's in the immediate vicinity before booking. The beach here took a good ten minutes to reach on foot from our far end pitch, the dogs had it to themselves first thing in the mornings.

Plenty to do within a 20 minute car journey for all ages. We visited the Lily Ponds and Broad Haven beach, Freshwater West beach (for teenage film anoraks and surfing!) Pembroke Castle and Stackpole Quay. All dog friendly.

Only ate out three times, The Lamphey Hall Hotel (2 courses for £12. 95 early evening) recommended by the Tenby Tourist office, worth every penny for food standard (all home cooked) and service. The other two times were to the Marina Fish & Chip cafe in Saundersfoot (previous reviewer also recommended) well worth the 20 minute drive, park behind the Tesco express, much cheaper than on the harbour car park.

Tesco in Pembroke (15 mins) is the nearest decent supermarket, and 2 mins from there is an Asda. Sainsburys in Tenby very small and limited selection. Parking cheap in the multi-storey in Tenby. Tenby is an attractive old fashioned seaside town with some tacky elements! We liked it but heard some say it was overated!

Nice area, efficiently and well kept site, friendly wardens, it does what it says on the tin!

We've just returned from a week long stay at this site and we were left a little disappointed to be honest. We only stay at CC sites because of the excellent standard but we felt a little let down this time.

We were fortunate to get one of the last hard standing pitches left, I say fortunate because the ground was sodden and it would have been near impossible to pitch on grass that was so waterlogged. We were pitched near the furthest end of the site and that area of the site must have housed around 40-50 caravans, the facilities for these caravans was 3 showers and 3 toilet cubicles in each of the men and women's block. If the weather had been better and the grass pitches had been taken as well then you could easily add another 20 caravans into the equation, for me this is nowhere near enough facilities.

I am not sure if we were unlucky with timings but the M.O.D use a section of coast a few miles away so every evening we were able to hear firing from guns and what sounded like tanks, sometimes up to 11. 30 at night.

All in all not a great experience for us but perhaps we were just unfortunate with timings as this site does get some good reviews

Just returned from a three night stay. Just what you would expect from a caravan club site, clean facilities, spacious pitches and stunning location.
The beach is breathtaking and a few minutes walk from the gates. Holiday camp close by was welcoming and we enjoyed a great meal at reasonable prices. Didn't visit pub in village.

Plenty of places to visit nearby such as Tenby, Saundersfoot and many other small villages. If in Saundersfoot we would sternly recommend a meal in the Mermaid restaurant for both excellent food and stunning views of the bay.

Only issue we had was the distance of the pitches to toilet blocks if you need to use furthest pitches, the site is long and narrow. But if your looking for a quiet break with no mobile phone reception on site ( blissful) this is the place for you and the beach allows dogs all year round. Children's park looked ok but there would be lots for kids to do on adjacent campsite and beach. Would go back.

Booked campsite last minute, (the day of arrival) due to site we had already booked being unsuitable. We managed to get one the last available hardstanding pitch.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, site was always perfectly clean, bins emptied regularly. Pitches were spacious, and level. Lovely park for the children.

Site was very safe for the children to play on bikes and scooters. Lovely pub at the end of the road (the long house) served fantastic food, and also provided evening entertainment, such as a weekly children's disco and bingo.

Nice beach close to the campsite, which was great for walking the dog. Good location for local attractions, beaches and Tesco.

Places worth a visit are, Barafundle Bay, Broad Haven Beach, Bosherston lilly ponds, Pembroke Castle, Folly farm, Dinosaur Land, Blue Lagoon, adventure castle and the Seal Safari from Tenby Harbour.

We will definitely be returning to this campsite for our next summer holiday.
