 Best overall site we`ve visited.

Massive pitches,plenty of toilets/showers.

Close to Dublin and all amenities.

Loads of takeaways and sit-in restaurants in Clondalkin village.

10 minutes by car from Tallaght, which has a large shopping centre with many high street names.

Can`t fault the place.

Very easy to get to and well signe-posted.

100%

Highly recommended!

3rd time we've used this site as a stop over to and from the ferry.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautifully laid out site with own large hedged pitch. No need to unhitch if you don't want to also no problem arriving late or leaving at the crack of dawn. Loads of loos, basins and showers which are kept spotless.

Only downside is noise from road traffic all the time but then this is to be expect when it is so close which makes it perfect for stopping over.

Shopping till late at Tescos in Clondalkin village 5 mins down a side road also petrol station there. Fish and chips from the Italian fish and chip shop nearly opposite Tescos very good.

Good directions to site from Dublin Port from site's website. Best way back to the port is straight over the motorway and keep straight on following port signs through the city. DON'T go on the motorway and leave plenty of time to get there.

This was a great site for us. We arrived expecting it to be only good for a short stop over but found it lovely for 6 nights to explore Dublin and area properly. The pitches are seriously massive - the biggest I have ever seen and site is really clean. Staff are friendly and really informative. The road outside is busy but camp towards back of site and it is quiet. It is a really cosmopolitan site - loads of different nationalities and interesting tents and vans - atmosphere was really relaxed. We would return.

Ideal for overnight stays when going to or from ferry port. Pitches all individually fenced off and good size. Big site with one central toilet block (long walk from some pitches) which was clean. Several showers were locked off leaving only about 6 available (not many when site is busy)

Rather inpersonal site, we arrived late on Saturday night after coming off ferry and getting lost in Dublin. Told there were plenty of empty pitches and to take which ever we wanted (we had booked in advance) but drove round and round 4 times before having to use one reserved for disabled campers (night staff not very helpful)

Huge park next door - ideal for those with dogs or children and shops within short drive (nothing for sale on site). Situated next to main road so quite noisy at all times

Had a wonderful 4 days on this site, we didn't have a car with us but the bus service is very good from right outside the gates, just 2 Euro to anywhere! 95 cent for child.

Site is very well laid out with very friendly staff.

The only niggle for me is that the showers are fine but it is annoying to have to buy a token to use them however the time allowed for a shower is more than enough (For me anyway.

We would gladly stay here again in our 34' RV.

The staff on the site were very helpful and provided us with a local map and bus timetable as well as some useful advice about the area.

Each motorhome/ caravan pitch is surrounded on 3 sides by a low cut hedge but with plenty of room around your unit, likewise you have electric, fresh water tap & grey water disposal on each pitch. The electric was extra but dogs stay for free.

The site is clean and well planned with 24hr security. The showers work via a token which you purchase from reception.

The site has no shop but you can travel to Clondalkin it is about a 10 minute drive were you will find Tesco, ATM's and plenty of places to eat. Dublin city is about 20 minutes but I'd use the bus which stops right outside the site. The Green Isle Hotel is about 5 minutes walk.

On the other side of the fence is a very large council owned park providing you (& dog) with plenty of space to walk, the park also hosts a fly fishing lake and golf course.

It was quiet when we were there but busy during peak periods so you'd need to book in advance but we'll be back.

This site is very easy to find and is well placed for visiting the city of Dublin. It is a large site well spaced out, has flat grassy pitches with easy pegging, quite well sheltered and very well drained. Plenty of space for tents with many electric hook up and water points available. The motor homes and caravans have a separate area, nice individual pitches hedging between one another with hard standing and grass and all the services. The site is well spacious and offers plenty of washing and shower facilities, which were regularly kept clean, showers had several hooks for the clothes and cost 1Euro same all over Ireland we found. There was also a large fully enclosed washing up area and dinning area, which was great for those with small touring tents i.E. Cyclist and backpackers. For somewhere to sit and eat or play cards and chat.

The people we met on site all seemed very friendly and helpful; it was a site where most campers stayed a few days for visiting Dublin and then moved on. There was not much to do on site, and I did not see a children's play area, but with Dublin some 20mins away full of attractions for all. The staffs on site were very helpful and pleasant; it was kept clean and tidy and was very quiet at night. We would recommend this site and will return if ever visiting Dublin, well worth booking up early if in a caravan or motor home.

Used site as stop over before touring Ireland ,handy for Dublin port, booking advisable because everyone has the same idea!
Pitches vary in size but are clearly marked and all big enough, all have water and grey waste and are hardstanding.
Showers are good but token operated, also has laundry(didnt use it) and room for campers to dine in.Large playarea with good selection for all ages.Staff helpful with directions and advice for tours etc.Bus stop for Dublin outside site gates and tour bus calls at reception daily. No shop but Tesco in nearby village.
Bad points, close to M50 which is busy and you do hear road noise late into night.Pitches regularly mowed but the grass isnt collected so gets in van, showers etc, left to find your own pitch, which is OK, but you do have to drive round a bit to find one if the site is full.
To sum up good clean site which is ideal for quick stop and then move on just need a grass box for that mower!

This is probably one of the best sites in Ireland in terms of facilities.

It is very convenient for Dublin city (there are buses from the site). There is 24 hours security and no non-campers are allowed to enter. Access is a bit strange though - the site is on a dual carrigaway (the N7) so if approaching from Dublin, you have to go past the site, then exit to go over the first bridge and back onto the N7 heading back into Dublin again.

The site is part of the huge Corkagh Park close to the village of Clondalkin - where you have numerous shops, supermarkets and take-aways (some of which will deliver to the site). For more shopping, the Square shopping centre in Tallaght and the outlet village at Blanchardstown aren't far away. Within a 45 mins drive are the Wicklow mountains and Powerscourt (S. East) & The Curragh, Mondello Park and the Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens (S. West).

It is a big site, with all touring caravan pitches in a large circle around the toilet block. Pitches are divided by low hedges. The tents are then in an area at the top of that circle, closer to the reception building.

The toilets and showers are modern, clean (and free) and plentiful. Also in this block is a campers kitchen, close to the tenting end of the building.

There is a good (big) playground on site and lots of walks in the neighbouring Corkagh park, which also holds Ireland's only dedicated baseball diamond ! Mainly though, this is a site to use as a base for exploring Dublin.
