Returned for our second stay at this lovely site, for two weeks. We missed the Canal boat flower parade last year,
Facilities great, had a lovely steak at the site restaurant on the first evening. First four days was rain, rain, rain. Wife not happy!
Then the sun came out and all was good. Had a picnic on the canal side in Delft while the Flower parade passed. The Dutch certainly know how to dress a barge and have fun.
City of Delft is so lovely. Shops, bars, etc. Wonderful canals.
Went to Rotterdam by train, tied our bikes up near Delft train station.
Rotterdam market brilliant.
Visited Gouda and Utrecht ( recommend both).
Toured local villages on our folding bikes.
Pool on site small but good enough.
Excellent for kids without being noisy.
Will return

I felt it necessary to submit a review on this site as I was nearly dissuaded from coming due to the last reviewer who clearly did not enjoy the site and by the lack of information about Delft can't have liked the city either. Thankfully I ignored the negative review and turned up to the site unannounced. I have a large motorhome with a trailer and a smart car. The total length of my outfit is about 11 metres. The reception staff were polite friendly and very helpful and allocated us a pitch that was large enough to house the whole outfit and with enough space for us to extend our awning. Having spent the last two nights at a site in Amsterdam I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap it was to stay with an ACSI card. It was 38 euros for two nights( about £14 a night!). Showers are free and yes they are push button but hey they are hot, wet and FREE!
There is a really good shop on site selling freshly baked bread and cakes and Delft is a ten minute walk away. This was our first time in Delft and we were blown away by its beauty. So much so we decided to stay an extra night. Delft is a bustling city with beautiful canals, bridges and nikky nacky little lanes stuffed with interesting shops and cafés and restaurants. Oh and everyone speaks English !
For 6. 50 euros you can travel on the buses and trams all day. We used our ticket to go to The Hague. Fantastic site and gorgeous city. Highly recommended. By the way I was aware of the sat nav issues but our sat nav, a Tom Tom camper took us right to the reception from Amsterdam. Also the wi fi coverage is brillliant allowing us to watch British tv on our iPads.

Had one night on here and will never return. The sat nav thing caught us out too and lovely locals helped us but it entailed unhitching to turn the caravan to escape the dead end. Ridiculous, as the site made no mention of the large K signs in their dealings with us. Once we arrived, the site was desperately tight, with tiny pitches. If you don't have a mover, beware! They arrange the pitches so you can be trapped in a corner, behind another outfit; God knows how you would get in and out in the space available!
The reception/shop closes at 7pm and the restaurant is shut on Monday evenings; it was Monday! There is absolutely nothing anywhere near in terms of shops, restaurants etc and were it not for one of staff bending the rules for us to get stuff from the shop, we would have had an even more miserable evening. Sanitation block was clean enough but very dated.
I would think very carefully about using this site if you have a Tourer or larger motorhome

As several have mentioned the Sat Nav coordinates take you to the wrong side of the motorway where the tunnel is closed for works. There is a diversion set up, its massive yellow signs with a 'K' on them. From the motorway turn towards Ikea rather than away from it and you are a few hundred yards away.
The site itself was fabulous, we found pitch sizes fairly big. Several motorhomes parked with trailers and tow cars on their pitches so pitches on average on the row we were on were the width of three motorhomes. Ground was firm with the matting that allows grass to grow through although it was mainly gravel.
Showers / loos all very clean, loads of hot water but push button showers - something we dislike.
Motorhome service point is in an odd place on a narrow roadway. If you stop to fill up no-one can access that side of the site.
A good shop on site which sold pretty much everything including having its own bakery which sold fresh baked rolls, bread and cakes each day.
When we checked in we were quoted €25 per night which we were more than happy with. On checking out they added a further €5 for electric, still a reasonable price for a very good side less than 15 minutes walk to the old town.

Just spent a weeks holiday here and already missing it
The site is great it does feel a little dated but everything is very clean and well maintained
Pitches were of a decent size and tents were pitched with caravans and motorhomes which I prefere
Plenty of free hot water for showers and pot washing
Our tent wouldn't fit on the original pitch our fault for having a big tent
(Outdoor Revolution 6xt) explained to the staff that we were struggling to get on the pitch their reply was
No problem take the pitch next to you as well so we had two pitches when I offered to pay the extra they said it's free as you sent us your tent dimensions and we thought it would fit the pitch which I thought was great costumer service and would definitely return
Swimming pool looked very clean as did the play area
Didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment
Easy walk into the city centre but there is also a shuttle bus which runs from the site right into the centre of delft

Don't follow sat nav but use directions given by site. It is near a very large IKEA. Very well placed site for accessing Delft city and public transport. Lovely town with lots of very quaint, pretty canals. Town centre is an easy, flat 15 minutes walk but be careful of all the cyclists, they have priority. Lots of cafés in the centre, interesting little market on a Thursday.
Good cycle rides both long and short as the site is on the edge of a nature park. Nice ride to t'woudt which is a tiny village with a church, café/pub and a few houses. It is about 10km but easy. The site staff will give you the route, not very easy to follow but manageable.
Easy getting to Keukenhof gardens, you walk to the train station, get a day return to Leiden, about 9. 8 euros. At Leiden go to visit centre outside the station and purchase a combi bus and gardens ticket.
Camp site is fine, it has all the facilities but can get a little crowded. There is not a lot of space between units. Best area is the field adjacent to the pay area, to the right.
No TV signal via aerial, you will need satellite.
Showers and toilets are clean and functional.

You must follow the signs to the campsite and not the sat nav as it will try and take you into a non-vehicle residential zone and you may get a penalty! The reception was welcoming and spoke excellent English. They gave us loads of information about the campsite and Delf and the adjoining shop was well stocked and had an in store bakery. We opted for a serviced pitch and were put in a grassed area surrounded by hedges which accommodated five units. There were a few statics further down. There were only a couple of minor issues for me, the lack of bins around what was quite a big site (the only ones we found were by reception as you exited the site and these were full and overflowing on one occasion), and nowhere to let my dogs toilet on site, apart from taking them off site and on a couple of occasions they unfortunately didn't make it off site before they went, which is a shame but unavoidable.
Delf is about a ten min walk and is the size of a large town, but has loads of shops and some older buildings too and is definitely worth a look. There is an open air market every Thursday. There is a vet within walking distance near the train station where we got their pet passports done. Wifi was free and available all over the site. Cost for one night, serviced, with 2 dogs was €44. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 12 nights at the end of august but despite the heavy rain we still found plenty to do both on and off site. Delft is a 10 minute walk away to the picturesque city centre where you can also catch a tram to The Hague. Duinrell theme park and waterpark is a 20 minute drive away great for a day out if you have kids. A 30 minute drive away is Amsterdam head for the RAI park and ride where a tram will take you right to Central Station and only €5 for four tram tickets and upto 24 hrs parking. Just 10 minutes away is Diergaarde Blijdorp ( Rotterdam Zoo ) another good day out. Friendly and helpful staff at the campsite with a well stocked shop, very clean toilets, hot showers, heated swimming pool, big children's playground and big pitches. An all round great site handy for exploring Holland.

This was the second site we stayed at during our two week trip to the Netherlands. After reading all the fantastic reviews our expectations were very high. Unfortunately we left rather underwhelmed.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. However the access road to our pitch was quite narrow (and not one-way) so we got caught up in a bit of a traffic jam of people leaving the site and new arrivals. Our biggest disappointment was the state of the “special” pitch. It was an irregular shaped mix of grit/sand/mud and weeds. The bushes were very overgrown and really needed cutting back. The front part of our caravan was parked under a tree. Forty eight hours and about 20 “blobs” of bird poo later we had to move the van and spend about 30 minutes cleaning up the front of the van, hitch cover and aquaroll. Thankfully we hadn’t put the awning up.
The toilet block was excellent. Plenty of showers very clean. The on-site shop was useful with fresh bread baked daily. Bike hire available too. Did not use the restaurant as it seemed quite pricey.
We found the whole site a little run down. Really looked as if it needs a refurbishment. We also noticed that on some of regular pitches the caravans were VERY close together.
Word about the wifi – advertised as site wide. The weekend we arrived it worked perfectly in our caravan. Then from Monday to Thursday it was woeful. Lo and behold on Friday and Saturday it worked perfectly again. Very odd.
The surrounding area was quite nice. We rode our bikes into Delft which is a charming Dutch town. Also rode round the local park. It was OK but did not seem anything special to us. It may look a lot better when the sun is out. Nice big IKEA five minutes walk away.
I would class this as an “OK” site but at just short of thirty pounds a night for two people out of high season this site is very expensive.

What an excellent site, surely the best we have ever been on. We missed the yellow diversion signs on the motorway slip road, but found it eventually. The site is located on the outskirts of the charming town of Delft, a 3 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk. Adjacent is a 'country park', with lots of cycle paths, lake with beach, paddle-boat hire and a hidden gem of a restaurant that does lovely omelettes.
We did not use the sites bar or restaurant but it looked nice. Toilet and shower block very clean and no queues.
The site is great for kids with lots of activities, a good playground and pool. The site atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet.
Lots of English visitors and it was great to talk to them.
Delft is beautiful, we enjoyed the free Music Festival in the main square and found numerous 'PUBS'. Unfortunately we had to leave on the day of the Canal Boat Parade, but will return for it next year.
A big IKEA is 2 minutes from the site.
A lovely beach is at Schievningen, 30 minutes drive.
Can't wait to book for two weeks next year.
