Just want to echo previous reviews. Very good campsite, very clean, staff very helpful. We were there in a cold April but toilet block nice and warm. Given an information sheet on arrival which told us everything we needed to know.
Delft centre within easy reach by foot or even better bike. When you get into Delft public transport available to get to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and the seaside.
Found a supermarket in Delft (C100) which took our travel card but be aware some shops/supermarkets don't take cards only cash.
Easy to find about 3 hours from Calais. Would go back again and recommend to anyone.

Our third time visiting this site as a retired couple - great location and has everything we want.
We stayed for the first two weeks of 'Low Season' using Camping Cheques with supplements for the fully serviced extra large 'Comfort Pitch'. Just as well we booked a large pitch this time, because we only just managed to squeeze the Senator plus full Isabella 2.5m awning and car onto the pitch with no other 'sitting out' space whatsoever! But we were not there to sit on site anyway!
There are a few pitches with some shade, and most pitches are in small hedged areas of 4 or 5 together.
Site roadways to pitches are narrow, bounded by hedges, mostly cul-de-sacs. So there is advantage in checking out which pitch is yours before committing yourself as turning space is extremely limited.
On site facilities are first class (which is why we go back) and the assistants are so very helpful.
IKEA (10 minutes away) does a roaring trade at mealtimes with the locals - always very busy. There is no UK-style supermarket nearby and none of the food stores have car parking facilities of there own nor do they take our bank/credit cards. There are stores like Lidl in nearby Den Haag where you can park but they don't take UK Visa/Debit Cards either.
Arriving in Netherlands off the Hull/Rotterdam ferry meant we arrived at the site at 10. 00am (only 40 minutes drive from the ferry) - It was not a problem - straight onto the pitch as it was vacant.
(Pitches are to be vacated by 10. 30am now anyway - but on-site parking might be possible if you have to wait for the night ferry back from Rotterdam Europoort only 40 minutes away).
Taking bicycles is an absolute 'must' for us and for most campers too - just cycle everywhere around the site, the nearby large parkland with superb cycle paths, all round Delft with thousands of others too, and all around the hinterland too via the excellent cycle tracks. No-one seems to wear cycle-helmets, or reflectors, and lots of bikes have 'side-saddle passengers' getting a lift. But be warned - they are expert cyclists and travel fast and silently!
Will we be back? Definitely!
Strongly recommended.

Excellent campsite. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the bar.
Nice pitch with own tap. Washing up / toilets / washrooms incl. Disabled facilities all good.
Particular plus is the location - walking or cycling distance into Delft (which is a lovely town), and from there you can go by public transport or bike to The Hague and Rotterdam, or by train to Amsterdam. In the opposite direction there is a huge area of wetlands and woods where you can walk, cycle and observe wildlife.
Holland is a very cycle-friendly country.

This was our first foray into Europe and this site lived up to expectations. It is immaculate and well run. We had previously stayed at Dunreil for two nights prior to this and were not impressed. We sailed from Newcastle to Ijumuden and it was just over an hour to the site on nearly all motorway. The route to the site is under a low (3. 4m) bridge but there is an alternative route which the site advises for taller units. We saw a few motorhomes who had ignored this following their sat nav.
The staff were extremely helpful and our service pitch was lovely and had loads of room. I like the European convention of pitching the caravan across the pitch with the awning. This is so much friendlier than looking at another caravan.
The shower blocks were immaculate and the big family showers were great. A big shower for the adult and a lower shower for children.
The on site pool is small but good fun and the swing park is good for most kids. The on site entertainment was really good and they made a real effort to include my six year old daughter as most of the other kids were Dutch or German. She loved the discos and campfires.
The site is ideally located for the beautiful town of Delft. We took our bikes and never moved the car as the cycle tracks are great. My daughter became really confident on her bike and the Dutch respect cyclists on the road and especially young children. A lot of the cycle routes are off road anyway. There is also loads to do in and around Delft and I would recommend a day trip to Rotterdam.
Ikea is a two minute cycle from the site and is handy for getting the things you forgot to pack and food. Breakfast for a Euro is great value.
The site even allow you to stay late so you can catch the ferry. The Newcastle ferry is at 5pm. If there is someone coming onto your pitch you can move your caravan to a secure area at the front of the site until you need to go.
We will be coming back to Holland next year and will be back here as well as trying the sister site at Konigshoff.

A lovely site right on the outskirks of Delft, just 15-20 mins easy walk, or 5-10 on a bike. We were only there for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Having spent our first afternoon and evening in beautiful Delft, the next day we discovered a fantastic woodland and huge lake with a beach, immediately behind the site and from there were a number of easy and safe cycle trails to villages from just a few miles away to a whole day's circular route. We also spent one day cycling the (cycle)road through the dunes from Schevingen to the Hook of Holland (having parked just south of Den Haag harbour).
As 'seniors' we didn't need the children or family facilities but they seemed more than adequate. We also didn't use the bar, restaurant or shop, which seemed to be fairly well stocked. But what we did find is IKEA, about 10 minutes through a lovely woodland walk, and had a decent breakfast for just 1 euro! Went back in the evening and had dinner, dessert and unlimited coffee for just 14 euros for the two of us (we are not talking cordon bleu, but nice enough for one night if you're on a budget).
We were on a 'comfort pitch' with our own water and waste as well as electricity and it was quite a decent size surrounded on two sides by mature tall hedges. From what we could see, most of the pitching seemed to be in groups of four or six.
The only downside, is the traffic noise from the motorway - because we had one particularly hot night we needed all our windows open and couldn't escape the noise. When we did have all the windows etc closed, it wasn't as bad and didn't keep us awake.
We would certainly go back and stay for longer.
Note about camping in the Netherlands: This was the fourth site we stayed on in the Netherlands and have noticed that all the sites seemed to be completely safe and secure. We felt confident to be able to leave our bicycles, shoes, food, washing etc outside under our canopy all day and during the night.

An outstanding site. Lively but relaxing with good pitches and very friendly staff. Animation programme for children was excellent and really included English children. Excellent facilities clean and no waiting even on high season.
The local area has everything for a two week holiday but a bike is a must. Cycle to Schiedam or Schevrningen fo an excellent day out. Take the tram to Den Haag or just wander the streets of Delft for hours - yes even with children!
A must see for families is the war museum which has role play and exhibitions to keep children busy for hours. Swimming pool a bit small but overall a perfect family holiday location.

We visited this site for a week in June. It is very well situated between town and country. Turn right at the main gates and after a 15 minute brisk walk you are in the centre of Delft, which is nicknamed 'mini Amsterdam'. It is as pretty without all the less family oriented attractions that Amsterdam is renown for.
Lovely town square which is home to the Town Hall and fantastically decorated Church. Plenty of places to eat and drink and walk. City tours can be by bike or by foot. Market day (Thursday) has genuine Dutch stalls with clothes, food and bike spare. One street alone houses the plant and flower market. No fake watches in sight!
Turn left out of the main gates on foot on bike and a complete network of bike rides awaits you. Tracks are well marked and flat. The paths wind between and alongside the canal network. We had a car pass for the week but really didn't need to take the car off-site as everything we wanted was close to hand.
We did drive to the beach at Scheveningen but given that the tram fare was only 15 Euros for the family of 4, and the car park was 10.40 Euros once we got there we wished we had taken the tram which stops 50 yds from the beach!
The site is very popular, with smaller plots than we would have liked, but flat. The shower/toilet blocks were very clean and despite the site being full we never had to wait to shower. Staff were very friendly and the on-site shop was quite well stocked.
We will definitely return and visit the bulb fields etc.
A word of note - Supermarket in Delft did not accept UK credit cards and very few menu's were in any other language than Dutch!

This is a fantastic site! Located on the edge of Delft but backing onto a large forest with cycle paths and a lake with a beach. You can safely cycle into Delft from the site - takes about 10 minutes. There are an abundance of cycle paths so it is totally safe for children. Our 5 year old, only recently off stabilisers, was able to cycle on the road with confidence and in safety. Delft is a very pretty town, perfect for a days exploring. The Hague is nearby and well worth a day out - for children visit the model village - expensive but recommended. The site itself is very well maintained. There is an excellent play area for children and a swimming pool, although this wasn't open for our visit. The pitches aren't huge but are laid out in small groups so that you don't feel too overlooked. This is obviously a very popular site judging by the number of rallies that kept turning up, however the amenities are plentiful and we never had to queue for the shower facilities which were kept immaculate with plentiful hot water! There is a small bar and restaurant on site which seemed very popular. We had a fantastic 2 weeks here, thoroughly enjoyed by us and our two children. We cannot recommend it highly enough! Well worth a visit - especially April / May time to see the incredible bulbfields and visit the Keukenhof gardens.

R sixth visit to this site and it gets better each year. Reception Warm and friendly and nice to be remembered and welcomed back. This year we had yet another different pitch in fact the best one we have had to date, not too far from the facilities block yet nice and quiet. Reception is open from 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm though there is someone there until 8.30pm for late arrivals, best to phone if you are going to arrive late. Restaurant/Bar Open from 5pm to 9pm a little too early closing for our liking 10pm would be better. It is closed on Mondays and Thursdays though depending on time of year. There is a 3 course set menu each evening at 13 euros or you can choose from the a la carte menu. There is large patio for the finer evenings. We only ate there once as since we bought the Cadac we find cooking ‘at home’ more of a pleasure than a chore and we also have a couple of favourite restaurants in Delft. Toilets/Showers Some of the best facilities we have seen on sites, thoroughly cleaned each morning using a power washer and then checked for soap and paper towels and toilets cleaned again in the evening. Showers are free and adjustable for water temperature. There are also personal wash cubicles and communal wash basins if you don’t mind watching other people do their ablutions. Disabled Facilities The site is well accessible for disabled persons. There is a large disabled shower and WC room. We could not see how someone using a wheelchair could access the restaurant though. Washing up/Laundry Covered area outside for dish washing there are more sinks in the laundry room. We always wash up in the caravan, not seeing the point of traipsing to and fro with pots and pans when you have the facilities on board. There are three washing machines and two tumble driers and separate sinks for cloths washing. A wash costs 6 Euros including powder, spin dryer is free. Shop Well stocked shop with fresh bread and croissants each morning. The shop is open from 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm, you can also buy Camping Gaz here, we had to exchange our 904 and it cost 17 Euros though the 907 which is bigger only cost 14.20 Euros in France, so it is more expensive here. Site in general Pitches are good in size some with water and cable TV points. The swimming pool is relatively small and 1.40 metres deep and a smaller pool for children. A well equipped play area and undercover table tennis. There is also a recreation hall. Lots of wildlife to be seen, rabbits, wild pigeons, ducks, the occasional pheasant and a large family of ravens who, delighted us in taking bread and feeding their young. The site cat gave us lots of laughs pursuing the birds without success. There is now an outdoor Wi-Fi connection for those of you who like to check email and clic-uk The area in general A short walk takes you to the lake, where you can swim or fish or just take a leisurely stroll. The city of Delft is a 15 minute walk and is steeped in history. Visit http://www.delft.nl for more info. Public transport is brilliant, be it bus, tram or train and this site is so central for visiting the nearby cities of Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam, the North Sea beaches and all of South Holland. To surmise, the site improves every year and we will definitely return. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
