This is a lovely little site. The site is split into areas separated by trees and hedges and we managed to grab a corner which we and our friends shared. There was plenty of room.

The site had basic but clean facilities.

We had a BBQ on the first night and the washing up sink has the best sink view I have ever seen - over the hills to Snowdonia. What a fantastic sunset!

Despite the gorgeous weather and it being August, the temperature really dropped at night so bring hats and good sleeping bags as our first night was pretty uncomfortable. Since visiting I have heard that this is pretty common for N Wales.

The children enjoyed themselves in the small pool and the breakfasts that the owners put on were fantastic.

We had a lovely time visiting Conwy Castle.

There is noise from the road but the views over the surrounding countryside more than made up for it.

This was our fist holiday in a tent with 4 kids, never camping before.

The site was top marks and for breakfast was great too.

Harry, pat and dave the owners are the best, they could not do more for you.

The swimming pool was not full and the kids loved the pool.

There is a pub 900 yrds down the road which is nice.

We spent a week there and hope to go back soon.

Camped here with our 2 children aged 10 and 3. Although there is no playground, there was certainly plenty of space for the kids to play. We were closer to the sheep in the next field than we were to another camper. Amazing views!

Although there are only 2 showers (1 mens and 1 ladies) we never had to queue as the site was so quiet.

Excellent value cooked breakfast. Read about this but didn't think we would have it. We did - 3 times in 6 days.

Basic but very peaceful with incredible views of the valleys and mountains.

Lovely, peaceful site. My daughter (14 months), my partner and I all enjoyed our first ever camping trip and would definitely choose this site again.

The site owners are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you are happy as well as recommending local attractions.

There is an A road adjacent to the site but nothing that would keep you awake!

The facilities are spotlessly clean - well worth the cost!

Wonderful site, great setting, great views, toilets are tired but clean (plans in place to upgrade) About 8 miles to Betws y coed, lots to do in the area and they offer of a cooked breakfast if required but best of all, an indoor swimming pool, only small but with the restriction on the number of tents quite big enough.
A small local shop is two miles down the road. The owners were full of info on what to do and where to go, very friendly couple. I hope to back later in the summer. Criticism none!

Just got back from what was a lovely wet weekend at this site. Even though the weather was awful we enjoyed the peace this site brings. We had the pool to ourselves which was brilliant.
The facilities are sufficient as there was only 5 or 6 other tents. We wouldn't be bothered if we had to wait for a toilet or a shower anyway as think the positives far outweigh the negatives. We had a cooked breakfast this morning which was reasonably priced and very nice. We loved that this was an option as didn't want the hassle of cooking when we were packing up.
The only downside is the wash up area which doesn't have hot water or shelter. All in all a lovely site for families and couples, we will stay here again. Excellent value for money.

Weather was horrible, fortunately the site was great.

My little one loved the swimming pool. Turned a horrible wet weekend in wales into a thoroughly enjoyable one :-)

The toilets and showers were basic but clean - the shower in the pool was lovely.

The site itself was nice and quiet, perfect for families and not too far from Betws Y Coed

The owners were brilliant, I would definitely recommend this site.

It's absolutely lovely, quiet and peaceful, plenty of room and so friendly and helpfully.

The site is small, it does say allows 14 tents, but they don't seem to like to book to full capacity. Which is really nice. The facilities are basic but functional and clean. The showers are clean and can be used.

When we stayed the pool was out of action, but to be fair this was then reflected in the price we paid and we had plenty of places to go and see. Especially as the weather was so nice.

If you do stay, I would recommend at least one campers breakfast. Good value for £4.50 and it saves you having to cook.

Harry and Dave were really helpful and friendly with anything you needed.

We will definitely be going again.

We have just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend. The owners of the site are very welcoming and accommodating. We had our cooked breakfast every morning and our two children loved it and so did my wife and I.
There are many places to go and lots to do in the area. The site is nice and small and perfect for a family, there was lots of room to pitch our tent with no overcrowding at all.
The pool was out of order during our visit but was on the mend when we left. We will definitely return and may even see if we could do bed and breakfast as the owners are great.
The toilets and showers on the site are small but very clean, a great site for all, would recommend it as a great base to explore North Wales!

Well where does one start? Harry and Dave are very friendly and extremely helpful and to be honest the nicest people you will ever meet. They can never do enough to make your stay as comfortable as they can. IF you’re stuck of places to go Dave will do anything to help you find you’re away around Wales. The campsite is very clean and well maintained the showers and toilets are clean yet the shower can be a little temperamental if others are using the toilets or sinks.

They have a great indoor swimming pool that is just a nice size and is a great place to go and rewind after a long day out and before you go for a meal. The shower within the pool area is fantastic, so I advise you use the shower in there after your swim. As for the breakfast that they serve I would well in truly advise everyone to have one. As it sets you up for the day and to be honest one did not require anything else to eat till tea time. Staying here sets you up for all the major attractions in north Wales.

As for eating out and so on, at the moment there is a pub 5 minutes walk from the campsite they sell some great mild and bitter, but at the present I would not advise for you to eat there. However there are some great places on the A5 that you can eat at. If you ask Dave and Harry, they will be very honest with you and advise where ever they can.

The campsite is very ease to get to it’s directly of the A5 and if you’re travelling from Liverpool or round that area it is down M56 and then A494 and then A5. It takes about 45 minutes and to be fare is a pleasant drive.

I have booked to go back and will be going back as much as I can. The only advise I would give is when pitching your tent you pitch your door towards the A5 as the wind and rain off the mountains can be bad, so door facing A5 will stop you getting wet when you get out of your tent.

Thank You so much Harry and Dave for all your help.
