Spent 2 nights here at end of July. Lovely campsite with really friendly owners. It is just off a main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise at all. The land is mostly flat but some areas do have a slope. One shower each for men and women so sometimes there are queues but the showers are free. Nice touch with the indoor swimming pool ( there is also a shower in there ). Friendly pub within walking distance which serves good food from 6.30pm onwards but remember to take your torch as you have to walk down a dark lane to get to it. On the Saturday we stayed the owner had lots of people just turning up adhoc to see if there was any spaces, but fair do's he turned them all away as he was fully booked, however we had loads of space around us so nice that he doesn't cram people in for the money. Only one down side there was no hot water in the dish washing area.
Would definitely stay there again.

Exellent campsite for first timers like myself.
Harry and David are 1st class hostes, Harry also does a mean breakfast. The campsite is clean and tidy, it also boasts a swimming pool, which is great for the kids. The site is situated along side the A5, however is set back far enough so the traffic noise is not that bad. The Giler arms is 900 yrds down the road if evening meal is reqd, however it opens at 6.30pm and you may need to book, esp at the weekend. All in all good site, would visit again. Thanks again Harry and David.

My Husband and I spent 2 nights here on the May bank holiday weekend in our 3 man tent. There were approx 12-15 tents on the site at the weekend, but despite this we didn't find ourselves fighting for the facilities. Both ladies and gents have one sink, one toilet cublicle and one cublicle with shower and toilet. All kept clean and a heater was put in when it was particularly cold. BBQ area is clean and washing up area is ok, but hot water would be nice.
Very nice to have an indoor swimming pool to use when we were sheltering from the rain!
Local pub served some lovely home cooked food, but on busy weekends may need to book ahead, as the next nearest place to eat is more than a reasonable stroll and along a busy road. Site is fairly close to a number of North Wales Attractions, only half an hour from Llandudno and about 45 mins from Port Merrion. Nearest place to buy food is about 2-3 miles away.
If back in that area of the country we'd use the site again, but there's a number of other places we want to explore first.

We were a little disappointed upon arrival. The web site details claimed that a)the site was flat and b)only had six pitches and c)was an adults only site.
Regretabbly none of these facts were true. On Sunday morning we counted 16 tents. The tent nearest us had two very young children. Yes, the owners of the site are very nice people but if they are to allow 16 plus pitches then they have to increase the facilities provided in direct proportion. There are only two toilets in both the gents and ladies block, one of which was in the single shower room. People were queueing outside the gents this morning and if you did manage to get into the single gents cubicle than you couldn't wash your hands as someone was having a shave in the sink!
The lack of hot water for washing your dishes was a bit of a shock together with the fact that the one and only sink was located in an open area and was not under cover.
On the plus side the close proximity of the site to Snowdonia and the fantastic views gained one you reach the peak will be our lasting memory from this weekend. The excellent food, beer and service provided at the local pub, Y Giler Arms (900 yds from site), was superb. We may possibly return once they have increased the facilities on the site to accommodate the number of pitches.

A great site, arrived for the May Bank Holiday. The owner Harry and his wife were helpful and informative regarding local attractions and where to eat! Did a great takeaway breakfast that was well priced. A quiet site, as they only allow 12 tents maximum. It was clean and the pool was immaculate. Will use this site again when camping in Wales.

Stayed two nights with 4 children 2 adults, very impressed. Lovely site, very clean and well kept, gorgeous views, fab swimming pool. Owners are lovely very friendly offered to freeze ice packs too. This is their first year but they have guest house established for several years and they are installing a childrens playground and picnic area. The bbq area is really good but no probs with portable bbqs outside tents. Toilet blocks and showers immaculate. Shops within driving distance 5 mins and pub! could walk it in 15 mins. Betsy coed 20 mins driving and lots of other attractions, Would definitely return and definitely recommend this site.

Extremely friendly and accommodating owners. Very clean and tidy facilities.
We really enjoyed our stay. Small site which is just what we wanted. Local pub within walking distance which provided excellent cuisine and range of beverages. Children welcome with a small games room including pools and darts.
Pool on site open most of day. Well maintained. Would definitely recommend and will return again soon.

A good site, small and basic but clean and tidy. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, checking with us during our stay if we were ok, and making sure noise levels were kept low. 2 toilets and 1 shower each for men and women, although there is a 3rd shower in the pool building. Probably enough for a small site like this (but the site could take around 12 tent pitches, not the 6 it says on the UK campsite webpage). Washing up facilities were a bit poor, cold water only and exposed to the elements, but a nice bbq area to cook and sit around if you wanted to. No children's play area, but the indoor pool was fantastic for our kids - it's quite deep though, 2 metres in places, around 1.5m at the 'shallow' end so make sure your kids are supervised. Pitches were all grass (nice and short) and some were a bit uneven or on a gentle slope, but nothing we couldn't cope with. No restrictions on tent size, which is a bonus, and cars can park next to the tents - watch out for the tree stump though - we grounded. See if you can spot the buzzard nearby; we saw it every day. The A5 is a busy road, next to the site (but far from the entrance - kids should be fine unless they really wander off), and a bit noisy at night. Betws is the nearest big town with a couple of good family friendly pubs to eat in plus a well-stocked Spar and some great waterfalls and a nice river to walk along (with a pebbly beach area for the kids to muck around on). The slate museum at Llanberis is worth a visit. We'd return to this site, definitely. £7 for adults, £4 for over 6's.
