Stayed recently. Lovely place, lovely people. Couldn't of done more to welcome us, and our dog. Well behaved dogs are very welcome. The toilet /showers whilst not new were very clean and my wife is very fussy. The best bit of all though is the setting. The photos do not do it justice. Its just beautiful. So many lovely walks around the quarries and lakes. The local area has so many interesting places to visit. Highly recommended

First time visit for me and my husband and our 2 dogs, we didn't know what to expect.
The dogs loved running around the grounds of the lagoons and swimming and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet.
The facilities are basic but immaculately clean and tidy. Everyone was friendly and we will definitely return. There is loads to see and lot of places to just chill.

This was my first visit to a naturist site. People were very friendly including the staff.
The site is wonderful because there is so much more than the fields for the caravans, tents etc.
There are walks, lagoons and plenty of space to relax. Facilities are reasonable.
The new main block is almost finished but is usable and the older facilities are good.
There was always plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. I would happily go back.

Went to Tything Barn as we had been before and found it really great. Not so this time. They said they were dog friendly, but we were told to keep them on leads the whole time and tether them when we were in the caravan. Which I found strange as the owners dogs were running free.
Facilities are basic but we don't mind that, these were not cleaned properly though.
The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful though.

We spent a first week at Tything Barn recently under canvas. It's a marvellous, quiet, relaxing place to go, though the facilities are a little on the rough side. Great to have a freezer and fridge available though. There are a couple of badminton courts (watch out for the rabbit holes!) and croquet and boule etc. Equipment is supplied.
Loads of little nooks around the lagoons have been created for private sunbathing, and some old boats and floating pontoons are available if you want a swim (about 5ft deep along the longer swims though silty underfoot which is a good reason to keep swimming!)
Be warned as a new visitor, that though everyone is very friendly and helpful, the majority of users have caravans stored on site and have them placed on a plot for their stay, pop up the aerial or sky dish and live like they were at home, watching Corrie and Eastenders, albeit with the chance to go naturist.
There is a 'party' round the camp fire once or twice a week, but other than that it's up to you.
On balance, it's a quiet relaxing place to go and it just felt so wrong getting dressed to go home after a final shower!
Good news for pet owners - dogs are welcome too. The owner has a couple, who will visit you most days!

All I can say is fantastic. Peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very friendly and other campers are helpful and chatty without being intrusive.
It took me a while to relax but as there is no pressure on you to walk about naked it seemed the natural thing to do. The facilities are clean with every thing you need to have a pleasant and relaxing stay. Parties are organised frequently and campfires are a perfect end to the day.
The site has numerous hook ups around the site, water is available at all times. Dogs are welcome for a small fee, and mine were upset to go home after making so many friends. One even learnt to swim in the lagoon.

We've visited this site many times, its uniqueness draws us back time & time again, facilities are perfectly adequate but maybe not up to everyone's standard, the whole area is huge with long walks around the two lagoons, plenty of places to be alone if you wish, fantastic sunbathing & picnic areas, if your a naturist you just have to visit this site at least once in your life, the owners are so friendly and as far as We can see the only rule is that you use common sense and respect others,
This is a beautiful area of west Wales & Tything Barns is a perfect base

Excellent site with suitable facilities - very basic by some standards but when you're on holiday for a week all you really need is a toilet block and shower facilities!
As to the on-site attractions - well 2 saltwater lagoons provide all the outdoor enthusiast needs but to top it off the site is located on an Estuary providing even more excellent swimming, kayaking and boating opportunities. There are two small row boats available for use but they do take some getting used too!
I went alone but soon made friends, in fact before id even got my tent up I had two guests come and introduce themselves. If someone went off-site to go shopping they would ask me if I needed anything so even though I was without transport I didn't run out of anything!
To those already active on the UK naturist scene the friendliness of the on site guests will come as no surprise but even as someone who has experienced this friendliness before I was very surprised by it.
There is no shop on site but it is conveniently located for pembroke town centre and if you don't mind walking there is even a farm shop in Milton for a quick shop! (Though as I said people always offered to pick me up anything I needed so if you're friendly to others they will be friendly to you!)
Conveniently located to Creswell Quay, where you'll find a traditional public house that remains unchanged since it opened (save for the drinks on offer!) or if you go a little further to Lawrenny you will find a fantastic pub on the quayside which offers a good selection of food and drink!
As to off-side attractions - St Davids, Pembroke Dock and Milford Haven are all within easy reach by car and if you walk to Carew/Milton you could probably get a bus. Personally I saw no reason to go off site however I did on a couple of occasions as one of the guests told me of special events on that week (The Haven Seafair for 1 thing!)
If you like a quiet site with lots of water based activities together with lots of space and love to be naked in the sun (like me) then this is the site for you! Doesn't offer much in the way of nightlife but do you really need anything more than drinks with friends of an evening?
In wet weather there is a polytunnel and club house that provide shelter together with pool and table tennis but generally they experience excellent weather down there.

My husband and I went to Tything Barn last year for the first time. He is a naturist I am not. For me it was great as there was no pressure at all from anyone to strip off! I felt completely comfortable the whole time I was there even though everyone else was naked. It is the most beautiful place with the most amazing people. If you are looking for a site that has lots of entertainment, shops etc then this is not the place for you. It is beautifully quiet, peaceful, friendly etc. 10/10

Been going to this campsite for over 25 years and met loads of people who have visited from other parts of Britain and from abroad who have loved the simplicity and peacefulness. It is basic but has a lovely family feel about it, where if you need help; it readily offered.
I use a wheelchair / crutches and find it not too difficult to get around [ although there are a few slopes to negotiate down to the two lagoons;- even here people readily offer assistance]and the owners do not mind people using scooters if they need them.
Be warned though ask June if there are any events going on during your stay as it does get hectic during them especially the 'fun-run' and other events.
The only rule is respect everyone else,- Children must behave and have to be supervised if rambunctious or young as there is open water and steep drops around the lagoons and the tide DOES come in very fast.
No excessive noise late in to the early hours.
I would recommend it to anyone who does not expect pool, bars and clubs on-site. There are clubs in Pembroke or pub in Carew.
