We went to Tything Barn for the first time in 2008 and loved it. The site itself is very interesting being made of of 4 fields with lagoons in which you can swim or row the boats provided.

Views over the estuary and if you are quick you can watch the tide coming in and completely changing the view. Make sure you don't get caught out on the mud flats though.

Plenty of space for walking and plenty to do locally I am sure but we were happy to relax on site.

Toilets were pretty tired when we were there as was a 'clubhouse'. A polytunnel is provided for sitting out on not so nice days. (It's better than it sounds)

Would go again.

Great to be back again, just stayed the half term week, met up with past friends again. The weather wasn't too good a few days but still enjoyable
A few changes due to new management, great swimming round the lagoons naked, great safe enviroment for the children.
Local shops a couple of miles away but with great local produce. Tesco 5 miles away at Pembroke or 13 Havordwest Carew Castle and Pembroke Castle both worth a visit

Tything Barn is a very secluded campsite with a unique atmosphere. There must be about thirty acres of land with a sea shore and lagoons that used to be part of an oyster farm. Hours can be spent walking round in complete isolation or going for swims; everyone there will respect your privacy or be sociable depending on the mood. There is, in fact, no need to leave the campsite at all but if you do there are a lot of areas of interest nearby including Carew Castle and the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

It’s an area of great natural beauty and there is a great feeling when there of being close to nature when staying there - emphasized by the fact that most of the campers there were naturists. If the weather is good (as it was when we were there) and if (like us) you are comfortable wearing nothing but sandals and suntan cream we highly recommend it!

Lovely site - relaxed and secluded. Watched the tide creep in across the salt marsh, seabirds all over. Facilities a bit out-dated, but electric hook-up, hot shower, warm polytunnel etc. Warm welcome. Lagoons to swim in old quarry. Interesting area with Carew Castle, old pubs, coast walks etc. Pub/shops in cycling distance.
