 Lovely quiet site.
New shower and toilet block spotless.
Fishing pond only two years old so needs time to mature. Had a few bream and small golden carp.

Newnes Campsite is an excellent site, very well looked after with lovely views and a relaxing atmosphere.
The toilets and showers are clean and modern. The owner made us feel very welcome.
Only short walk into a lovely town with a lake and cafe to walk round and feed the ducks also.
Cant fault it, don't hesitate to book here.
Highly recommend.

Our first campervan experience. Lovely site very clean and well kept grounds.
Would definitely stay again.
Immaculate washing facilities.

Lovely site, a 15 minute walk from Ellesmere.
We have stayed here before and will stay again.
It' costs £24 a night for a pitch with electric, great value.
There are plenty of walks in the area.

What a fabulous site. The showers and toilets were spotless. The views were amazing. Short walk into the town from the site,
I really cannot find anything negative to say about it.
We were greeted by the owner on arrival and were told because we were in a tent we would be in a sheltered position in a corner in case of bad weather. Very thoughtful.
We will certainly be returning.

This site is perfection!
Immaculately clean and tidy site with really high standard toilet/shower facilities.
Lovely hosts and we will definitely be going back for another visit soon :)

Once again our stay at The Newnes was a very pleasant experience.
Covid meant shower and toilet facilities were closed but, from previous visits, had they been open I have now doubt they would have been spotless.
A great stay.

Good hardstanding with EHU and water. Lovely views. Shower facilities are great.
Very quiet site when we were there as although there are lots of caravans on site they are probably only used at weekends.
Fishing pool is very small and quite exposed. Didn't catch anything. Nice walk into the town and there are quite a lot of independent shops and pubs as well as a large Tesco.
Good walks and cycling from site.
Friendly owners who don't intrude.

Our seventh visit to Newnes, level pitches, with mains water, superb
Showers and toilets, Robin and Jane brilliant hosts, there are 360
Degree views of the wonderful Shropshire countryside, the town
Of Ellesmere has a good selection of shops including a Tesco and
Is only a 10 minute stroll away, the location makes most of Shropshire
And parts of Wales easily accessible, unfortunately no WIFI (yet) oh,
And the pitches are a good size, ENJOY

Great clean site
Really enjoyed it and it was very peaceful and quiet.
