To be fair this is a very pleasant site with first class toilet & shower facilities.
The details show that there are 38 pitches, which may have been correct when first registered there are now nearly 60 as the bottom field has been recently excellently set out with pitches and a wonderful facilities building, as well as a small but well stocked fishing pool.
Due to many seasonal caravans pitch choice was very limited and we were in the bottom of the bottom field nearest the road where in a tent we did suffer from road noise, including noisy motorbikes at 1AM.
We would suggest that space for campers is kept in the top field where the road noise is much less and closer to WC facilities. (Caravans have their own)
Whilst the facilities where excellent they do need a shelf or hook in the showers for ones soap etc. We also felt that toilet paper should have been provided, Covid is NO excuse for the lack of.

A quiet adults only campsite. Showers and toilets very clean. Well positioned for cycling and walking.
Ellesmere half a mile away. Good butcher, baker and general stores for stocking up.
We would use this campsite again and would recommend it.

Lovely site. Our first time here, but we'd love to come back. Great views, and the facilities were the best we've experienced in over 20 years and really clean.
Never had to wait for a shower or loo even though we were there just before bank holiday.
Good walking into Ellesmere direct from site, and staff very friendly.

We really liked this site.
We were on pitch no 10 which was at the top of the first field (there are three fields). We had a fantastic view of the countryside. There were horses in the next field which we watched from our van. There were sheep and hens in another adjacent field. The toilet block was modern and clean. We did not go into the shower block.
We walked through the second field into the third field where the fishing pond is. It is not a big pond but there are lots of fish in there. There is a dog walk at the bottom of the field. Ellesmere is within walking distance.
All the other campers were friendly and the owners were nice. We had a great time here.

Any negative comments I give would not stop me going back here as its great value and gave us nearly everything we needed. Plus points.
Adults only, good size pitch, 16amp, friendly owners, close to supermarket, own water tap, clean toilet block although we had the brand new one to use I am guessing they are having teething problems with it, as there was no heating in there and the showers were luke warm but water from hand basin was piping hot, so not sure whats going on there as other older block was warm and showers fine.
The site seems designed more for vans than tents as there is no freezer to keep ice blocks etc in. I did suggest getting one to Robin and he agreed it would be a good idea. On our field the toilet block had 2 male and 2 female toilet and shower rooms in.
It is a nice site and access is easy being close to the main road. Small pond that people did use to fish. Some lovely views too.
All in all a great place to stay.

Visited this site before the owners are excellent hosts and very amiable. The facilities are very good and always spotless.
The site itself is very well laid out and easy to find with good signage off the main road
The additional pitches which have been installed for this season are a credit to the owners with excellent levelling technique to take in the natural surroundings With good views all round
It nice to see camping pitches well catered for
Excellent value for the money. We will be returning

Robin has created a lovely site just outside Ellesmere. 3 fields hillside location, and a clever use of terraces in the bottom field makes the most of the site giving generous pitch sizes.
Easy walk into Ellesmere 20 minutes, maybe another 5 to the mere.
Decent sized Tesco for supplies.
Gorgeous walks alongside the canal from the Ellesmere arm of the Langollen canal. Turn left for walks to Colemere and Right to head into peaceful Shropshire countryside.
Didn't use the on site facilities due to Covid, Looked beautiful, brand new shower/toilet block in the 3rd field. Nothing is too much trouble for Robin.
A really relaxing break.
