Campsite easy to find & well signposted from the motorway. Lovely surprise to find the reception open at lunchtime, pleasant staff, good-sized pitches & free wifi near the bar. Unfortunately the site had only recently opened for the season & looked rather unkempt. Although the loos & floors were cleaned, the sanitary block is sadly in need of attention - cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, dirty doors & walls, broken soap dishes, water not very hot, and the general 'courtyard area' was untidy. Doubtless it will be different in the Summer!

A nice site well situated for walking into town. Everything seemed well maintained and the staff helpful.
For 2 days a contingent of about 8 large caravans (towed by vans) from Ireland parked up in a corral around the facilities block. The occupants monopolised the pool and were somewhat loud; we weren't interested in the pool anyway but felt sorry for those who were. They were always quiet at night, and on the third day they moved on and life returned to normal.
We'd certainly stay on this site again.

Great site for a stop over for a night or two not far from the motorway. Clean tidy facilities and friendly staff. Nice social area in the middle with a small bar, snack shop, swimming pool and games room. Will use this site again but plan to visit the town as we feel we missed out on this. 24 hr fuel station next door

We found this site using the Internet and liked the look of it from Google maps. We booked a two week stay and in fact stayed almost three weeks. The campsite itself resembles a park and no-one tells you where to pitch you're allowed to choose your own.
The grass and shrubs are well managed and the staff superb, even the shower block attendant/cleaner is a gem of a bloke from Manchester who has lived in France for 30 years or so. All the staff including Coen and Bas are great, very helpful and nothing is a trouble to them. We specially enjoyed the campfire get together on Friday night. The restaurant meals are good value for money too.
The swimming pool is always kept in good order. I read somewhere a comment that had been passed about this municipal site being expensive at E23. 50 per night. It turns out not to be a municipal any longer but is privately owned. The charge equates to £17 or so which I don't think is too bad. The site is near to the centre of Troyes which if visited in June gives the opportunity to partake in the Solstice celebrations which are tremendous.
Locally there is a Lidl supermarket and shortly there will be an Aldi opening right outside the gates
Goes without saying, we'll be back.
Thank you Coen, Bas, Chris and all the rest of the staff. See you next year.

As I write this I am in Camping Troyes. Very helpful people in reception and good English spoken. 23. 50 euros a night for me, my wife and dog with EHU which I think is a bit expensive for a municipal. The fascilities are very good and the signage around the site is good.
The pitches are fairly large and well shaded with easy access to water and electric.
Well kept swimming pool which I decline to use (too cold for me).
Bar and cafe for pizza etc open in the evening and we are stopping for 2 nights on our way south and would recommend it for a stop over. Troyes is well worth a visit just to see the timber framed buildings and wonder how they are still standing.
The lakes and the nearby Forest are worth visiting too. All in all a good site

It is a great stopover, or for a couple of days to visit the area. Very spacious, staff friendly and helpful. Mostly in trees so choose carefully if you want satellite TV. Takeaway pizza nearby if you can't be bothered to cook after a long trip. This is our second visit, stopped in 2014 on trip from Mosel area of Germany to France. It was exactly the same then. Would use again.

Site easy to find from A26 motorway, site well signposted. We arrived a couple of days after the site had opened to find it unkempt and a bit of a mess. Clearly no maintenance work had been done over the winter and when the manager was not in the reception office he was out on site with a rake clearing twigs and weeds. The small toilet block was open but was very dated and not particularly clean.
The pitches were of a good size with a few hardstanding.
All this is a pity as Troyes is a very pretty medieval city.
Ok for a night halt.

We used this site for a one night stopover on the way back from a 3 week holiday in France. On arriving, with 3 tired children, we received a very friendly welcome from Lucie.
I would like to thank Lucie so much for her help during our stay, as I realised that I had left my handbag at a service station 200 miles away. Lucie helped me identify the service station, then went out of her way to call the service station to see if it had been handed in. It was 9 o clock at night, and Lucie text me when she had received feedback from the service station later that night.
Thanks Lucie for all of your help, as I have now received my handbag! It contained my camera with over 200 photos of my holiday. Thanks Lucie, as without your help I would have lost those holiday memories.
This is a perfect site for a stopover, with, as you can see, amazing staff.
Fantastic customer service.

We have been using this site for overnight stops and short stops for a few years. It is convenient for the autoroute and also to visit the lovely little town of Troyes. The toilet/shower blocks are basic but always very clean and useable. There is a small swimming pool and places for children to play. Good local shopping etc. WIFI is free near the café where there are tables and chairs. It works this as this area becomes very sociable. People surfing the net, having a quiet drink, playing card games etc. In fact the charm of this site is its very laid back friendly atmosphere.

This was a brilliant stop over. A really lovely site we were told to choose where we wanted all the pitches appeared spacious. Easy to manoeuvre on and off. The toilets and showers were fairly clean. They have an excellent restaurant and takeaway service. The playground was well equipped and kept the children entertained (4/9/11). It was also an easy stop off on our way down to south of France would definitely use it again next year.
