This was our first trip in our new van ! and I cant see that we could have done better, owners and wardens exceptionally friendly (quirky too)

Site facilities all good, will be even better when new showers up and running. Dog walk on site very handy. The fishing very good too, all led to a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, storage is also offered on site and again the wardens are most helpful.

Dogs are very welcome and the village has its gems too, the village bakery well worth a visit, plus a chippy that delivers. The only downer the village pub, the White Hart, no good if you want good honest pub fare, (ghastly gastro pub!).

Adults only, very very welcome news !

Lovely site with great potential, flat pitches, not overcrowded but with all different tents, motorhomes, caravans etc.

Very nice people looking after site, fishing looked good, the next time we go will take equipment to have a go, a new fishing lake is being constructed, dog walk is good which is a must for our two labradors,

I had a bike this was good shops are in easy distance to get anything you run out of, had a takeaway brought to site which was great, didn't use toilet facilities because we had our own

We rang the site at 3pm on the saturday, due to the site we had been booked into being more like camping in a car park. The owner answered the phone and was very helpful. We turned up 20 minutes later and directed to our spot.

No tent within 30m. A location to die for. Then the couple who looked after the site gave us some local info including where to eat and the local chippy delivered to the tent.

The site had one toilet and shower but it was clean an no queues. Highly recommend this site even if it is for Nans Jam. Fishing on the site caters for everyone and nearly a fish every cast.

Located in driving distance of various places. We popped to wroxham, Norwich, Great Yarmouth.

Overall a very accommodating site and great for star watching. Oh and not forgetting the firepit which is accessible to everyone and is very good way to meet the neighbours.

Well, all ok but please, please sort out the washing and toilet facilities. 1 toilet for the whole campsite is not acceptable or indeed hygienic. Spent most mornings waiting to use the toilet which was embarrassing. Left early as could not shower or go to the the loo!

Owners and staff very friendly and welcoming. Good value for money but only if you are in a caravan and not a tent. Not many good walks around this area so you will have to drive out of county.

The Pingo trail is nice but is a twenty minute drive away. I am sure the fishermen enjoy this site but for us it is I am afraid a no!

Friendly small site. We were putting the tent up in very wet conditions, and the wardens wife brought us a very welcoming hot drink to help us out. Grass well kept and generous size plots. However, not the ideal site for tent owners as the lack of hot water and a sink made washing up a bit of a task! Also, apart from a very clean shower (don't expect a high pressure one) and toilet there was only a small hand wash basin with only cold water. Site was quite full when we were there, so finding the gap in time for the use of the shower was a little tricky sometimes. There is a washing machine, at £3 per load - including wash powder - and a small freezer for ice blocks. The site was wonderfully quiet - although it was a little too cold for people to be sitting outside in the evenings - and, personally, we like the all adult rule.

Lovely site will visit again next year with friends and family, nice and quiet

Flat ground,fishing good

Could do with more toilets and showers and a washing up sink

Tesco is 6 mile away for all your needs, waitrose 14 mile away but wouldn't bother

Owners are very nice and friendly and that goes for the fishing bailiff too

Hired a boat from wroxham took 50 mins to get there and had an enjoyable day out on the broads

Overall good holiday and price is more than value for money

Love this site, been many times and hope to go again before the winter sets in. Its been full up almost all year because its a great site with a nice toilet and showers.Lovely owners and David the water ballif. Great fishing lakes always a catch here. Went fishing one day but not enough room to hook up the caravan never mind we'll go late September should be room then.

It is tremendously quiet, and the grounds are well kept, but the toilet and shower unit is in need of a scrub and lick of paint. Preferably, with an additional (same sex) toilet / shower unit being added! One unit for all of those pitches, queuing is inevitable! Having to share the one toilet with both male and females just doesn’t seem right.

It was great to see the rubbish recycling points, the lakes, the dog walking area, and the visitor’s comments book.

In essence, it was a great weekend away, and has the making of being a great little site (especially with the low nightly rates and adults only)

We have just returned from this site for our maiden trip with our latest caravan. You know the one, to make sure everything is working etc. etc.

I digress (lol)

The site is the perfect site for a relaxing and peaceful break. Two lakes with an array of fish in both. The pitches are of a decent size, and level which is always a plus point for us. Electric hook up to most of the pitches and the pitches are spread around the outside of two different fields so if you're like us and enjoy an evening stroll and chatting to fellow campers I'm sure you'll have a pleasant evening.

Toilet and shower are basic (but clean and functional), the village of Hingham is just a short drive up the road where you can get fish and chips and general items. Or, slightly further afield, at Watton (7 miles) is a Tesco where you can get your main groceries. Norwich is 18 miles in the opposite direction.

The roads are small and quiet so, we'll be bringing our bikes next time to explore the local countryside (and local pubs at lunchtime)

We will definitely be returning to this site later in the year for a few long weekend breaks.

Fishing license, a soft seat, and peace and tranquillity beside one of the two lakes, and maybe a nice cup of tea from Li (the better looking half of NiLi) and we'll be in heaven.

For us, the price, the tranquillity the fishing and the adults only make this a site well worth returning to.

Rest assured, you'll see us back here in the not too distant future.

The bottom line: If you're looking for a basic site, in the heart of Norfolk countryside, you enjoy fishing (The fishing is £5-00 per day daybreak to dusk) and you enjoy peace and quiet, this should be the site for you.

Big appeal for us was the adults only and the fishing, on arrival could not find anyone to book in with. But after further investigation found our reserved pitch with name board attached. Good idea ! Site layout is very good with hookup and water near by single W.C. And single shower available both clean and tidy.

Grass was cut and site in clean & tidy condition.

We had set up and owners sister arrived after she had finished work, To welcome us and explained that brother had gone on holiday very nice and friendly person, settled in and had an evening fishing session all going well ! that is until the invasion of two units complete with six young boys between them who then proceeded to spoil the rest of the stay with the ball games screaming running around everyone else's van but theirs this went on till 10.30 pm.

No one appeared to be available to speak to about this situation. So we made the best of it although spent a lot of time riding around in the car. If it,s adult only that is what you expect.

To be fair some weeks after our stay we did receive a phone call from the site to apologise for the booking error allowing the children on site.

Because of this we will definitely try again. OVERALL A LOVELY SITE !
