Just returned from a week at this wonderfully peaceful and isolated little site. There is only one toilet and one shower but were clean and as there are only twenty or so pitches this was adequate. The showers were 50p a time but were hot and lasted long enough to swop persons.

The local village of Hingham is picturesque and has all the shops you would need for basics and more (check out the army surplus store for an amazing array of imported hand painted christmas decorations). Larger supermarkets are only a short drive away.

Although we didn't try it the local pub is said to serve good food. The owners informed us that after this year they are intending to make the site adult only. We beseech you not to do this and we won't be able to come back. The reason they gave is there is two lakes on site and they are a danger to children. My daughter aged 6 had her first fishing experience this trip and was supervised at all times. So a disclaimer signed by families with children and warning notices placed around the lakes would go toward families being able to visit this fantastic non- commercial site.
