 Lovely wooded site with friendly helpful owners.
Pitches are large and well screened but little or no view because of the trees.
Some road noise but not a problem, motorcycle racetrack nearby which could be very noisy I guess, check dates!
Walking is good but all downhill to start so long hard trek at end of the day.
Covid restrictions in place and enforced, which is good.
Adult only and very peaceful.

We stayed here at the Bank Holiday weekend.
Lovely campsite, modern clean facilities with level easy access.
Sheltered by the trees, felt quiet and welcoming.

Small site, but well looked after, and the staff very friendly.
Nice place to relax and unwind. Would recommend this site.
Showers and toilets were closed, so can't comment on those, but do look nice and clean. 👍😊.

A very nice and peaceful site, very friendly staff, unfortunately the shower and toilet units where still closed.
It’s a great site if you just want to chill out but if you would like to visit any shops /restaurants/ pubs and don’t have transport there isn’t a great deal to do other than go for nice long walks.

Very well kept site in woodland surroundings. Good size pitches friendly and helpful staff.
Some road noise on pitches at far end of site otherwise can well recommend this site.

Excellent woodland site situated in an outstanding location with pitches set amongst the trees,
The facilities were outstanding, the best I have ever visited, ultra clean and they just never got dirty, ever.
A warm welcome from the owners who were on hand to help out with any information.
A stunning site that we will visit again.

Wonderful site. Peace and quiet in lovely woodland location. The toilet block was the cleanest I have ever seen, suberb !
Very warm welcome and extremely helpful staff. Great location being close to Ashbourne, Dovedale, Tissington Trail etc.
Highly recommended 😄

Liked everything! Cleanliness, location amongst the trees, friendliness of the staff and the peace.
Not so great was dicing with death on the A515 to reach The Shire Horse with 2 dogs however it was absolutely well worth it.
The food, value for money, atmosphere and hospitality was brilliant.

Visited this site before, cannot fault it, Janice and Mark who run the site are lovely people.
The toilet and shower blocks are amazing, the best we've come across, the disabled facility is really good. The setting is lovely, really peaceful.
Read some reviews about road noise, never heard any when we have visited. Excellent you two, keep it up. We will be back.
