What a fantastic little site, we stayed with 2 friends who had their own unit and had a wonderful weekend break.
The facilities are exactly as everyone says and are top notch, clean and well looked after. The site is very peaceful, there can be some road noise but nothing that spoiled our weekend.
There is a field right next to the site where you can exercise your dog, Asda is 10 minutes walk away and Pugneys country park is 15 minutes walk away.
The pitches are hard standing but there is also a grass area adjacent to each pitch to sit in if required. BBQ's are allowed if off the floor. Will be visiting again.

This is a great little adults only site, where we took our 3 dogs with no problem whatsoever.
It is a small site, but has large level gravel pitches. We were met by a very helpful owner who pointed out that Asda was 5 mins away and there was a nice country park 5mins in the opposite direction.
There is a key fob (£10 deposit) to get into the site and into the toilets/showers, which are very clean and tidy. The tariff for the weekend is £15 per night - good value.
The road outside the site can be a bit noisy at times, however this didn't affect our visit.

This site is just off the M1 at Wakefield, and is easy to find. The pitches are a good size with plenty of room for the caravan and awning. All the pitches are separated by hedges which provide privacy.
The toilet block is modern and was always clean. The showers were really large, not something we are used to on camp sites! And the radio playing in there is a nice touch.
The owners/staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Asda is a 5 min walk from the site, as is Pugny's water park which is great for walks, or canoeing & windsurfing. We also visited Sandal Castle by car, about 10-15mins drive into Wakefield.
Overall a nice little site, easy to access, and ideally located for local attractions.

This is a great little site just off the M1 motorway near Wakefield on a small farm. The site itself is based around a grassed area. The pitches are Hardstanding with electric hookup. To gain access to the site you must pass through a security gate control by electric fob. This will cost you a £10 deposit. On the site there's toilets and showers that were always clean. There is no pot washing area which was a downpoint to the site. We really enjoyed our visit and wanted to book again and take our children with us only to be told that the site only allows adults. The owner explained why and we could understand his point, but this was a disappointment to a great little site.

We have stayed at this site now twice and would definitely go back again.
The site itself is easy to locate just off the M1 and has great facilities. The toilet block is clean and modern and is accessed via a fob which is also used to enter the site as it is gated.
For those with dogs there is a large field adjacent to the camping field and Pugney's country park is only across a road.
There also is a large supermarket nearby with pubs and restaurants all accessible on foot. There are also a wide range of other attractions and days out within this area of Yorkshire.

We picked the site at the last moment as where we going was too boggy for the motorhome. Owner said was full but would try and get us in, great site toilets / showers are immaculate site very secure with key fob ( £10 deposit ) to enter and exit.
Bus stop outside gate to Wakefield or just to Asda. Overall a very clean and secure site with many attractions locally or easy to get to will certainly be using the site again and will recommend to friends.

Enjoyed our stay at this friendly site with great sized pitches. Toilet block is excellent. Fob controlled gate for entry and exit so good security. Owner very friendly but without being pushy. Bus from gate into Wakefield, Country Park within walking distance. 2 Supermarkets and 3 restaurants also walking distance. We would return. Would be ideal as a stop over from M1.
