Excellent site. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Made to feel that nothing was to much trouble.
Good playing area for kids and dog walking area. Very handy bus stop outside the site for Scarborough and Pickering.
Would highly recommend this campsite and I will be going back.

Just spent a lovely 5 days at Broadlands Touring Caravan site.
Great facilities, friendly staff, good size pitches.
Close to Pugneys Park, & Hampsons Garden centre.
Asda and Aldi supermarkets are half a mile away.
Enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again in a couple of weeks time.

Nick and his team were extremely well organised upon our arrival, ensuring that we received appropriate information regarding the site and local amenities.
Communication in advance of our arrival was also excellent - we booked at very short notice, but we were kept well-informed right up to our arrival.
Existing facilities are excellent and it is clear they are working on improving these still further. This is very much to their credit.
A peaceful stay at a very friendly (visitors and staff) site which is kept immaculately clean and in great condition.
Visited family after 7 years away and would love to stay again.

Gated entry made you feel secure. Spacious hard standings were fab, good job cos it was rather wet!
Facilities very clean, lovely hot showers. Laundry room too which was an added bonus.
Close to local amenities. Lovely dog walks on the doorstep. Easy access from M1.
Hosts very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay there again

Could not have asked for more, quiet, peaceful, good clean facilities, secure, close enough to local facilities without being too close,
We will definitely be booking this one again.

Have stayed several times over years. Core facilities very good but traffic noise now on some pitches near road can be very intrusive.
Recently abandoned our stay because of it and no other pitch available, expecting to forfeit the site fees but they have been refunded. Very fair response as we did not ask for them back. Leaving was our choice.

A well appointed site with plenty of birdlife, but no views as the site itself, and each pitch, is enclosed by hedges. Good security, pay £10 for the barrier key. The owner/warden is helpful but insists on showing you everything when you want to get on your pitch and set up, better than no welcome at all though.
Everything you need shopping and fuel wise is nearby in the form of what must be one of the busiest Asdas in the country, you have to queue up to leave the car park!
Recycling is good, but there was nowhere to put plastic.
£19 per night, but this price decreases for longer stays.
For doggy walks, there is Pugleys park just down the road, Walton Colliery nature park and several others.
It would also be useful as a stopover, only a mile or so from the M1.

Stayed here for a few months, excellent site, very clean and good facilities. It was clear that the site was very popular as many of the people who stayed there were regulars every year or two, from people with homes in Spain visiting for the Summer to locals who had moved away from the area and were back visiting friends and family.
Excellent Pubs (The Star we especially liked - wet pub), a wine bar, Italian and Chinese restaurants all within easy walking distance or hop on a bus if lazy.
The opposite way to Durkar there were more facilities already mentioned in other people's reviews.
The pitches are separated with conifers, all hard standing and a well pegged awning will stay up in all weather. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful - above all they listened and responded to the people on the site which is a breath of fresh air.
Security is very good and access with a large touring caravan is easy. The piped music in the shower block was a nice touch with stations which altered according to the day and time.

A well maintained site, excellent facilities. The pitches are very generous in size. Good security.
Friendly and informative first meeting, we were shown the facilities and the pitch and left to it, which suits me fine.
There's a bus stop adjacent to the site but we choose to walk the 10mins to the Asda where it seems all the buses go to. Some nice walks in the area, all in a first class site.
