Lovely quiet site, well positioned for many of the local attractions.
Will go back again for sure, as it meets our requirements very well.
Hopefully the weather will be kinder next time.

A quiet, simple and secluded site close to castles and beaches.
We picked this site as it included a toilet and shower block, essential for a week stay with a trailer tent and 3 boys!
We found the site to be very peaceful as it has a small number of pitches for both tents, camper vans and caravans. It was easy to get the trailer tent 500 meters down the farm track to the well-drained grass pitches.
The toilet block is basic but clean and tidy and with plenty of hot water. It even had a small room for information and a power socket.
There is a building that has a large communal room, the rest of it though is looking more dilapidated with a dangerously close-to-collapse roof. We think this building must have been the mill and has great potential, currently, it is fenced off so the children can't explore thankfully.
The owners allow full access to the farm and are very friendly. There are some nice short walks around the farm with great views out to Lindisfarne Holy Island.
The site is 30 minutes drive North on the A1 from Alnwick (great castle & gardens here) or 15 min drive South from Berewick-upon-tweed (where you'll want to make a day visit, plus it is the closest main town for supermarkets & Fuel).
All up, we loved it and will quite happily go again next time we head toward Northumberland.

I would recommend this site to anyone. Our welcome on arrival was enthusiastic, helpful and warm. The site itself is in a wonderful location.
The facilities were more than adequate, regularly cleaned and maintained.
The location between Berwick and Bambourgh was perfect for countryside or beach walking.
I almost didn’t want to write this report in case I have difficulty booking a pitch next time I want one.

Wonderfully located site, hidden away from roads and therapeutically quiet - oystercatchers and the farm's cattle were generally the loudest sounds. Very helpful communications, easy to book, and friendly without being at all intrusive when we were on the site.
All grass. It bucketed rain for a couple of nights, and where we were, on the caravan row by the top fence, drained well and quickly.
Facilities are beautifully maintained and clean, shower was warm and well-behaved, with enough clothes pegs etc.
It's maybe a good thing many people were still using onboard facilities, with just one m and one f toilet, and one shower apparent, though also a very good wetroom disabled shower & toilet if you know where to look. A reviewer earlier reckoned the facs could do with updating - no, keep them as they are, they're part of the appeal!
One of the best chemical disposal points I've met recently too - not too high, easy to operate.
Good walks around the farm and the area; they do advise not going into fields of cattle with young, and plenty of those. From the top of their hill, views across into Scotland, and over Lindisfarne.
Plenty of good places to reach from here, Lindisfarne, Seahouses & Farne Island boats, Berwick-u-Tweed, Alnwick, Bamburgh, and smaller quieter beaches you'll have to find by looking on the map.
We found it to be one of those sites where mostly the people staying form a friendly, ever-changing community, and hope to return when we're in the area.

Lovely campsite if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Really relaxing place, choose your own spot and you are left alone to enjoy it.
Great to watch the cows who look exceptional.
Toilets and shower were shut due to COVID so can’t comment on them.
Handy for Holy Island or Bamborough

Lovely site in beautiful surroundings - very quiet and peaceful - good access to the amazing Northumberland beaches for the dogs
Think the shower and toilet facilities could do with a bit of an update - just a small niggle

This is an absolute gem of a campsite. We stayed here from 11th July to 19th July 2019. The site was reasonably easy to find (depending on who's satnav we used).
It is quite spacious and very quiet, although I did hear complaints from some other campers that they had been awoken early by the sounds of the cows. But you should really expect this as it is a working farm.
The booking was easy with only a £20 deposit required to secure our booking and the nightly rate of twenty pound is extremely good value for money.
There is one designated Male toilet and one female toilet, one shower cubic and a shower/wet room which also has a toilet in it and is suitable for families all of which are kept extremely clean.
The site is well maintained and the Staff are extremely friendly and happy to discuss the workings of the farm. I will definitely be returning to this site in the future.

This site was easy to find with good sign posting. A working farm and basic campsite with no human interaction from owners! Ground is a bit uneven. Shower block is more than adequate though and showers are amazing! constant very good pressure.
There are only 2 though. With a separate gents and ladies toilet (1 of each). Washing up space is sheltered and adequate too.
Stunning views over the countryside, nice quiet place to get away from the busy world.
