A fantastic site! Just thinking about our stay makes me feel like I need a holiday again! All of the facilities were great. The toilets were very nice and clean. There is plenty to do in the area, especially if you have kids. We especially recommend Crooklets beach, where we all had a great time. We would certainly stay here again.

A bit apprehensive at fist because of the reviews but they must have worked hard to turn it around, its really clean and well maintained, the whole site looks stunning and the views are lovely!
The sunset we saw was so amazing I must have taken about 50 pictures of it. We were so pleased the toilets and showers were very clean, the site was peaceful and we hopped over the fence to go to the nearby pub to watch a band!
I am booking again for bank holiday without a doubt this is a fuss free, comfortable campsite to which you are left to enjoy.
The location is not far from Bude itself, we cycled around.
The shops are lovely and plenty of takeaways. We paid for nornal pitch but got electric hook up!
I didn't speak much with the owner, he was really busy working on the site but he seemed pleasant.

We were a little apprehensive when we pulled up and found the camp site shut until 10am. We tried the phone number on the door but with no luck.
When the family did arrive they were helpful and directed us to our serviced pitch.
The pitch itself looked over the country side and the sea although it was that far away it blended in the clouds.
A good site overall and the toilets were clean considering the amount of use they had with so many people on site and we also experienced the no soap in the mens for a week. Shop was well stocked and the pool was very small. Kilkhampton was okay and we think the Chippie is over exaggerated due to the 40 min wait (yes 40 minutes).Great location for bude and is on a major route through cornwall. If there was a campsite that needed a play area for the kids then this would be it. They played around and in the toilet block, climbing on the walls etc and kicking the dust bins around and as the owners went home in the evening there was no one around to stop them, perhaps the parents could have?.
We would go back but not on the same pitch as it was to near the shower block.

Toilets were clean, no power points for the ladies(straighteners etc) Shop did not open till 10:00 am. Village is a muddy walk depending which way you go. No food or club/bar, local food stops around 9:00pm. Chippie is excellent,
But still closes early. The sea view, walk are exaggerated on the website.
Even though we paid well in advance we were not on the list of the days arrivals and ended up in a muddy overflow field

Went for ten day holiday to this truly WONDERFUL site! What a pleasant change to be greeted by such friendly and helpful people. Everything was just perfect! The toilets and showers were the best I have seen on a campsite and were kept really clean!
The pitch we had was gorgeous and the views overlooking the coast were really quite special! I would definitely stay away from the 'butlins style' holiday park down the road as it was awful! The village of Kilkhampton is great, very peaceful with two great pubs and a fab pizza shop!
I would highly recommend this site for all those who appreciate the great outdoors! Will definitely be going back.

This campsite is clean friendly. The family run the campsite and are only to willing to help with problems such as putting up tent. There is a small heated pool but does the job for the kids to splash about. They have horses in a field which the children loved to feed. Not far was a beach call duckpool which once over the rocks was a quiet beach to buggie board, very clean and free parking The only negative thing I can say about the campsite is there was no playground,so the children had no focal point to meet and play.

We have just returned from a week on this site . The weather was typical English summer a mix of sunshine and showers and plenty of wind. The site is well located to explore the NE of Cornwall. It is well laid out and the pitches are flat. The original pitch we were allocated was not big enough for our Outwell Maryland XL tent and following some negotiations with the owners they very helpfully moved us to a better plot. The site shop is well stocked with all the essentials including a few non essentials (children's toys so beware of shopping with younger kids!) The main shower blocks and toilets are clean and well maintained but are situated near the lower end of the site. If we were to return we would book one of the the super pitches that offer electrics/water and are closer to the showers. The small toilet block which is situated by the cheaper pitches (which are cleaned daily) only have 2 toilets in the gents and get a little busy! The pool is small but great for a quick dip. The site did get noisy in the evening but I guess that can vary depending on your neighbours! ( we were entertained by one of the loudest snorers ever!).

They boast of having over 100 camping pitches, 120 caravan and motor home pitches and 43 all service pitches. So I was surprised to arrive and find only 9 male toilets on the entire campsite, split between a building holding the larger majority and a rental toilet block holding just two male toilets which was shared by most of the 100 camping pitches.
In both toilet blocks soap was also an issue. During my two week stay there was almost a week in which the soap dispensers were empty.
The entire campsite shared three male showers and probably the same number of female.
Also, I found the beach to be slightly more than 5 minutes away. Once you reach the car park, which you will have to pay to use as it's National Trust, it will take a further 5 minutes to reach the beach. Which in total took me roughly 15 minutes. With the said, all the surrounding beaches were very aesthetically pleasing but also very rocky.

This was the second time we have stayed at this site. It has got bigger and so have the toilet facilities. It now has its own shop, the other is on the chalet park which is a separate place but you can use the facilities for a small charge. Owners very helpful evening letting us have a bag of new potatoes from her own kitchen (we did replace them). The owners have also put in their own outdoor swimming pool small but nice enough. Will visit again when we go to Cornwall. Nice level pitches most terraced.

Just returned from a week at this site, it's a newish site being constantly improved by the hard working family running the site. It is kept very clean and tidy, toilet blocks are kept clean and have lots of hot water, the showers are free and clean also.
The site is good for camping with level pitches that area ll numbered and well laid out. Caravan pitches are all on hardstanding weather serviced or super pitches.
There is a good bar and grill serving great food which has free entry. The sea was warmer and cleaner than it's swimming pool which had the usual technical problem with the heating equipment. The evening entertainment on the other hand was good.
The site allows dogs but would it would be beneficial if it had a dog run to let them have a run off the lead. Sandymouth beach is 3 miles away and you can take DOGS on there, it's a good big beach run by the national trust, it is part sand part pebbles and has rockpools and is good for surfing or body boarding.
I would visit the site again.
